Jamie was just like:
"Sis, this is exactly why I killed the Mad King."
Hopefully he kills her, i want Jamie to be a good guy
I think he will. But unfortunately they didn't mention the Valonqar prophecy on the show...
Curtis Howard And Queenlayer.
hah
What's the Valonqar prophecy
they will probably start next season with that
Cersei: So I'm just gonna stand here and watch the shit go down.
*Tommen flies past the window*
That.Would.Have been.Awesome.
Fuck man, that would have been the best way ever to kill him off, have him say bye mum on the way down
Tommen's last words: "Bye mom. I'll tell father you said hi."
is that why its called kings landing?
You all are HILARIOUS!!!!
"My lord. Your mother Cersei has requested your presence."
"Tell her I'll be right down."
Draconiccuss *your grace
Draconiccuss holy shit what's that from again my memory is failing me
OH NO.
Grand budapest hotel i think
@@systemofadown945 you don't get the joke
So Tommen actually did a King's Landing ^^
I'm crying hahaha
Ba dum dum PSSSH 🥁
That's what the episodes called
Lmao!
Perfect bahahaha
The music throughout this finale was goddamn amazing...
I loved the piano piece in the beginning, it brought such a suspenseful and eerie feeling and I loved every second of it.
The Light of the Seven - Ramin Djawadi. You're Welcome
Sanat Jha
This one is a bit different from other GoT music (which tend to be based mainly on string instruments); so it's understandable that appreciation may vary.
That theme that played when young Ned picked up baby Jon was beautiful
Yes! Finally some new songs were aded this season.
felt so bad for rickon stark. he's the only stark that didn't do shit then just died like that
The only influence he had in the entire tv show was making Jon run into danger in e9. But there was never any development between those 2 characters, i doubt they were ever in a scene together or mentioned one another except for that episode which made it seem so silly
+Els dso well they grew up together. As far as Jon knew he was his half brother, obviously he might give two shits about him.
he didnt say anything in the whole season no single freaking line :D
In the books he was like 5, I can excuse him not doing much.
Nonoy Encallado
Fucking idiot deserves it, just Zig zag and thats it its not like the arrow will follow him
Lol, idk what show you were watching. Roose Bolton was poisoned by his enemies.
wraith738 This comment needs more likes
@@binderstonkeyes7172 Exactly what I am thinking :D
Arya gets around, eh?
She must be using the 'Skyrim' fast travel system.
Spot on!! I've been having issues with their travel system. Fast for some, slow for others
Well, it's called the "Narrow Sea" For a reason. It's really just a fat river. The old people who named these things were super dramatic.
guess she decided to _enter the Frey_....
same for Varys and Theon
+Nighthawk This comment doesn't have enough likes.
The true star of this season was Ramin Djawadi, the composer.
so sooo true
The 'Light of the Seven' track had to be his best work ever
man, words cannot express how good the the soundtracks are, especially episode 10
it was as if Mozart composed it lmao
The score that kicked in as R + L = J was revealed - when it switched from baby to John's face - was a perfect example of how music can enhance a scene
Cersei: Burn it, Burn it all!!
Jaimie: Oh man, not again.
*Sitcom laugh track plays*
+Jacob Hutton You win :D
Cue Seinfeld track
+Jacob Hutton rofl 😂
guess Jamie will have to "stab" her from behind.
you forgot to mention the music leading up to explosion was pure master piece. thats what made that scene so great
Brilliant
BIG BOSS *SALUTE*
THE ROOSE IS NO LONGER ON THE LOOSE
🤣
When Tommen got up on the window I was like "he's gonna do a superhero landing!"
It's okay I've made the joke too lol
I have a feeling it would be the other way around
He took "King´s Landing" in a literal sense :)
+HummelGeneral loooooool
epic looooooooooooooool
That's not the Red keep , that's sept of baelor.
Yup this
Everything else he says is all correct, I'll give it the pass
+Dylan Obrien The Red Keep & the Sept of Baelor have been in the show since season one, should be easier to remember than other places that haven't been around for six whole seasons, but still this happens a lot with casual & even more committed fans.
nope. not the Tullys came to the BoB but the Knights of the Vale ^^ But it's just nitpicking
+Dylan Obrien no its not hard at all
Wasn't the 'RED KEEP' she had blown up mate it was the 'SEPT'.. fucking awesome episode though eh..!!!!
spread da truth!
LOL it would have been bad for her to blow up the red keep since that's where she was at the time.
this is what I came to the comments for
Lmao it would have been hilarious if the person she told to set up the wildfire made the same mistake xD
Some WB road runner shit! LOL
The Red Keep did NOT explode, that was the Sept of Baelor.
Will Donahue well it did last night lol
Buzzdash lmao you replied to a comment two years later
Walt Disney I’ll reply to a comment 20 hours later
Walt Disney the difference between a week and two years is pretty fucking significant lol
Haha you actually used "lol" in 2019
Lyanna Mormont in a room with the White Walkers. About 5 minutes later the White Walkers retreat back to the Land of Always Winter, never to be seen again.
I really hope they involve her in the upcoming seasons. My favorite new character of Season 6. I'll be very upset if they make her die for no real reason but to be edgy.
+Kyrie Irving Na I think she's staying around for awhile, she's too well casted of a character, as well as a fan favorite.
because this show never kills fan favorites lol.
+oughchim ayoub tyrion and jon and arya are all fan favorites and they're still alive.
+Alessandro Tombesi Jon snow was brought back alive but the show completly forgot about Joffrey being brought back because fans didn't want that.
Anyone think the Kingslayer will become the queen Slayer
But he's already the queen slayer. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
+TheFuryHasCome lol that's a sex joke
+Luke W OH REALLY?
+TheFuryHasCome ha I get it
Since Cersei is the eldest child. It was already prophesied that she will die by the hands of "the valonqar" meaning little brother. My bets on Jaime too.
Season 1 - Awesometacular

Season 3 - Awesometacular
Season 4 - Awesometacular
Season 5 - Awesometacular
Season 6 - Awesometacular
God, I'll miss this show.
HardSplint Cine it's true though
HardSplint Cine I'd say season 5 is a buy on blue ray, but yeah the rest of the seasons have been awesometacular
Zombie Slayer
Season 1 (upon first viewing: it's a good time, no alcohol required, except maybe after the end of the season...haha. After seeing stuff multiple times, I think it's awesometacular)
Season 2 (definitely worth watching and buying on Blu-ray)
Season 3 (awesometacular, despite a few heartbreaking things obviously)
Season 4 (same as Season 3, except it's my favorite overall season)
Season 5 (probably a better time, if you're drunk, my least favorite season by far)
Season 6 (definitely worth watching and buying on Blu-ray)
I guess I'm very critical of the show but I think it's great overall.
HardSplint Cine for me:
Season 1: Blu-Ray

Season 4: Awesometacular (and then some)
Season 5: A good time no alcohol required.
Season 6: same as season 4
"Hey Bran, I'm your uncle... Peace!" Hahahaha
Tommen missed the haystack
W
Aimed for the bushes
+No Id that other guys reference is the best
I was thinking the same thing lol! It was so unexpected I loved that scene!
Well, yeah, but you gotta admit, he gave new meaning to "King's Landing".
My prediction is Jaime Lannister is going to have to be a kingslayer... again.
Queenslayer*
Queenslayer again*
Yep! killing all the mad rulers! But I think he'll burn down with her.
Queenlayer again*
Nah they'll let Arya do that and get revenge for the act that caused the downfall of the starks - Ned's beheading
"A Song of Ice and Fire" or "A Son of Ice and Fire"
Jon snow born from Fire and Ice
+Nathan Rouleau everyone get this idea that grrm is writing about Jon and that he is the main point to it all because of this, yet grrm has confirmed that he was inspired to the title by an anti war poem call fire and ice, the story is of war and how bad it is. how does Jon being a superhero and destroying the others make this an anti war story
+Nathan Rouleau "The prince that was promised"=Lyanna:"Promise me"
Jon is one of the main characters, but is no means title character. The thematic use of fire and ice is apparent on many levels. The houses we most root for (starks and targaryens), the white walkers vs the dragons, the interplay between summer and winter. Jon snow's parentage is part of this theme, but he is by no means the only central character. That honour is at least shared with Dany, and arguably would include Tyrion, Arya, Sansa, Bran, Cersei, Jaime and maybe others.
I really liked Margaery. :'(
@@crazyjew878 nah she was nice and clever
Shashank Laur she’s too fine
Shashank Laur id fuck her bloody
She wasn’t fake, she was a politician like the majority of characters who were involved at kings landing. She was kinder and wiser than she had any right to be and watching her die when her intuition had picked up on it was horrifying.
@@LeviAckerman-ck6cw You might have to wait in line.
I'm still pissed that they killed Margaery.
I'm not, I'm glad the bitch is finally dead.

+Albert Suriñach Last 3 Breaking Bad episodes
Breaking Bad
Duh-duh-DUN-DUNx1,000
Breaking bad is sooo overrated
Ive seen it and I love it, but there are better shows. First season of prison break for example, or last season of spartacus. And definetely GoT
"i cant wait to see Cersei without her kids grounding her" rip she did literally nothing for the next two seasons
she did too! don’t shame all of those windows she looked out of! 😉
UT she did.... She destroyed the remaining martells and tyrells.... Pls don't ignore season 7
Just when you think he couldn't take it any further we find out Ned took honor to another level.
That shot of Tommen taking a swan dive out the window = Absolutely perfect
Totally agree, a very underated sequence from all the reviews I've listened to. How that scene played out left me absolutely breathless and shivering.
+souarli krok me too, that poor kid, i wish he just left kings landing
+Mirnes Trto He made a king's landing.
I know he lost his faith, but he should have aimed better at the hay stack.
Really? I thought it was too hasty. At least make him pause, you know hesitate, make us see the sadness and conflict on his face before jumping off.
To satisfy my OCD and my massively inflated ego I need to correct you on a couple of things:
1:41 It's not the Tully's army it's the Arryn army and the knights of the Vale
2:41 and 3:02 It's the Great Sept of Baelor that explodes, the Red Keep overlooks the Sept as it happens
Fuck my shit up everyone, there's an insufferable know it all here and it's practically lying down for you.
I'm more bothered about the terrible writing at parts. They basically spent 5 minutes with Jon explaining how he'll deal with the Bolton cavalry by actually creating a cool battle plan. Then they forget about it. Just don't bring it up in the first place if that's what you're going to do.
And suddenly he has hundreds of Wildling cavalry out of nowhere when there's no indication they had any horses since they fought on foot.
Arya walking in broad daylight asking to get shanked by the Waif. By far the worst, people were giving the writers way too much credit by saying it must be some kind of ruse by Jaqen.
I don't think being more informed on a book classifies you as a "know it all".
This immediately bothered me as well lol so you're all good in my book
Also he said that Ned stark was the only one who new about jons parents but howland reed survived the tower of joy too
I was about to comment on this. Thank you for doing it for me.
RIP The Roose, may he be Loose in heaven.
Also RIP Stannis, The Mannis with The Plannis.
Akiraspin Stannis was fucking boring Davos is the only cool thing about him
@@oaky9834 lol stfu Stannis was awesome. Too bad he went out like a bitch while his book counterpart is still kicking around and is just as badass.
After Season 6
Fans: Season 7 and 8 will be awesome.
After season 8 episode 5
Fans: oh.......
How could seasons 7 and 8 be awesome when seasons 5 and 6 were already trash.
Is it me, or was the only boss thing Toman ever did was not flinching at the end?
At least he was way better than Joffrey.
Spell his name correctly at least, it's Tommen
+Jason Daley nope. He doesn't even deserve that. Geez, I wonder how ppl spell Rickon correctly, he's even less memorable. ;-)
Jason Daley Well, I never read the books and I don't care enough to look it up.
amen to that. good thing se got rid of him. I miss Jeoffry
I just hope Ser Pounce is okay...
He is. If he followed Tommen all the way down, he won't be affected since he is a cat.
Gregor adopted him. He is really just a gentle giant. Misunderstood.
It would make my life if in the next season you just see Gregor scratching the cats chin or sitting on his shoulder in between scenes of him smashing peoples heads in.
damn I forgot about sir pounce..yes I hope he's ok too..lol..Margery liked him, he's a good cat.
Shame they cancelled the show after this season. I'm sure later seasons would have been cool, but I'm fine with the series being open ended.
Nothing after this happend its up for entepritation. NOTHING HAPPENED
Season 7 was decent and season 8 was mid
@@vegetasaiyan1875 I still dont understand people saying this. Other than a cool battle in episode 4 season 7 was a disaster. the north of the wall stuff is written by toddlers.
Dude, everything after season 4 was trash except for Hardome. Try watching seasons 5 and 6 now with your thinking cap on and it is impossible. It's boring and makes absolutely no sense. The last two episodes of S6 (which aren't even that good) fooled people into thinking the season was good. It's not.
@@Al-ji4gdtf you talking about season 6 was absolutely amazing,it's literlay the greatest season of all time and season 5 was exceptional, quit trying to be edgy lmao
When Rickon was running away I litteraly started to scream Apocalypto Rickon, Apocalypto !
haha I don't think many got this comment. But I was thinking the same thing.
LOL..
Haha my brother and I did the same
*****
I appreciate the ones who did.
Jaja exactly what I thought watching that. I was almost yelling at him to zigzag for his life lol!
A few corrections and Add-ons
1. It was the Great Sept of Baelor that blew up, not the Red Keep.
2. Only the Knights of the Vale came and not the Tullys, as seen when the Blackfish refused to abandon Riverrun and go with Brienne.
3. Howland Reed probably knew about Jon's parentage.
4. There are Tyrell ships in Dany's fleet, not only the Dornish and Greyjoys.
5. Jon Snow might be Azor Ahai as the prophecy stated that Azor Ahai was born under a bleeding star. And as seen on the show, Dawn (Ser Arthur Dayne's Sword forged from the "heart" of a fallen star) was beside the bed that held Lyanna Stark in a pool of blood after childbirth.
There might be more but that's all I can think of now, feel free to input.
Just enjoy Jeremy's video mate
+savagecrom I did. He's one of my favourite UA-camr dude. But fact is fact.
" a few corrections a add-ons " *pushes up glasses* shut thee fuck up forever nerd.
nobody cares about your " corrections "
"Feel free to input" sounds so wrong
ty m8 you did a great job! I realized the mistakes myself and just wanted to start writing a comment but you saved me some lifetime :D
The Red Keep?, How can you make that mistake Jeremy?, for the love of the old gods and the new.
It's understandable. So much crap going on.
+JEFFERY nah dude, Cersei and Tommen were in the Red Keep
Yeah but the building was quite clearly not red...
Stephen Addario
they were both at the sept as well this whole season going back and forth
That's what it's called though.
Arya season 8 finale: What's west of Westeros?
Tommen season 6 finale: *w i n d o w*
Amazing how Jeremy pretty much predicted the end of episode 2 season 7 around the 6:50 to 7:05 mark lol
Lol thank u! I was just about to say exactly this. Jeremy so predicted that, ironically. And it was exactly how he said it "something stupid". Because it was ridiculously stupid how she lost her entire fleet and her dragon to that fuckwit euron.
🤣🤣🤣
He said exactly what happened
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
knights of the Vale not the Tullys LOOOOOOL
And it wasn't the red keep
I waited for someone else to say this so I don't get called out for being a smartass.
You all know what he means though, no need to be a nazi about it
i wish i was the first one to point that out.
There's nothing Nazi about pointing out a mistake like that. The Vale knights are not Tully's, that is important to understand. The Sept is not the Red Keep, that is also important to understand.
It would be like instead of calling it King's Landing, you call it Casterly Rock. It's not a little typo, it's just wrong
Cersei is a great villain, but she's the most incompetent person in the seven kingdoms. She single handedly is responsible for (almost) everything bad that happened in the show. She is definitely responsible for the death of all her children, and the war itself. And she still thinks herself a great schemer and the smartest person in the room.
+Fenrir the Rrowdy tyrion has his cunning, noy jaime
Technically lysa arynn is responsible for the war as she killed jon aryn for littlefinger, but yh Cersi is a very close second, she thinks she is so smart and only ever gets her way because people fear her more than others in the game
GamingNoobs101
The war started with Ned Stark's death which was Joffrey's fault directly, and Cersei's indirectly. Technically Jon Arryn's death was the first domino in the book/series, but the real catalyst was Cersei shagging Jaime, and passing off the kids as Robert's and Ned discovering it.
yh good point that is true and you could say that Lysa's letter to kat about the lannisters made ned naturally weary of them more than brans fall did because that would have happened anyway even if the letter hadn't been sent. Ned didn't seem to blame the Lannisters for that at first.
But those two things made kat caprture tyrion which made ned panic and do some stupid shit and got killed, but the war had already technically started with robb just going to kings landing anyway to rescue ned and the girls
The Mad King and Littlefinger are responsible for everything. She is responsible of nothing cause she isnt that smart
Cersei: I have the highest body count in the Realm
Dany Season 8 Ep 5: *Hold my Dragon Egg*
@1:40 It weren't the Tullys, but the knights of the Vale (Arryns), right?
Yes
Yup, Tully's symbol is a fish, Arryn's is a moon and falcon. Only reason I know this is cause the books have handy wee pics of each houses emblem above the name, quick history and a list of all 100 people that are connected to it, and when it comes to knowing who's who that is your go to piece.
The Viewer Yeah I was just checking that day, but now I am also into the books, almost done with ACoK, just two chapters left :)
GoodFellaah Good on you for reading the books, they're really good and have much more world building than the show. The show also deviates quite a bit in the last two books, just a heads-up.
*SEASON 6: The night is dark and full of teleportation*
Lots of time passes between events, weeks and weeks, people travel, the only thing that didn't make sense was Vary's being in Dorne and then on dany's ships on the way to westeros, everything else was just time skipping
You could see Tyrell and Martel ships in the Danys fleet at the end, so Varys just came with em.
Jeremy Jahns even stated in his very first review of the show that a month can pass buy in a moments notice. Think of it this way, one season, is one year for the characters in the show
When Dany was talking to Daario he said the ships were almost ready, in the very last scene there were Martell and Tyrell ships in the fleet too, so it means that Varys was already back in Mereen with their ships in tow. The books make a point of explaining that the chronology may not make sense between chapters but they've never really gotten the hang of letting people know how much time has passed in the show.
I think there is alot of fast movement it seems, the writers just are bad at showing that time has passed.
Jamie coming from the north to Kings Landing....does seem way to fast. Unless we are to believe that weeks had passed from the Sept blowing up to her getting crowned Queen.
Varys....initially I was like WTF is he doing on the ships. But I think Dany and her ships came to Dorn then what we saw is the total fleet leaving Dorne and heading to Kings Landing.
Small correction: Those were the Knights of the Vale, not the Tully army. The Tullys are still held by the Freys. Well...until Walder's death is discovered and they overwhelm the rest of the Freys. Oh, and that's the Sept of Baelor, not the Red Keep. AND the Faith Militant was Cersei's fault. SHE gave them power. Tommen just went with it.
And oh yeah, good for Cersei to kill hundreds of innocent people, including her own uncle and her daughter-in-law, driving her own son to commit suicide. Yeah...good for her....jeeeeeezussss.
I was looking for this comment XD I thought I misheard it when he said Tully's army
It just proves that Cersei is stupid. By killing the Tyrells, she had broken up the alliance that could save Kings Landing from the many enemies the Lannisters accumulated. Well the Tyrells are now part of the Dany's massive invasionary force coming to Cersei's way soon. Goodluck Cersei and I hope you enjoy your token crown while it lasts.
Does he even watch the show
Hey uncle was never nice to her, he kinda hated her...
Daughter-in-law never cared for the Lannisters, she would sleep around with anyone, and has done it, with anyone that was in the position to be the next king,...
Her youngest son... too easy to manipulate; just 1 night between Margaery's legs and he was hers.
Her fanatic cousin that was in on the plan to kill her ex-husband, he turned on his family name like a traitor
The fake pervy old maestor getting stabbed more times than Jon did at the Wall, NICE...
So yeah, good for you Cersei! And it's kinda funny that the Wild Fire that was created to kill the Lannisters, it solved their problem every time they're in super danger (Stannis' fleet, Holy fanatics, rival families, etc.)
The last feeling of satisfaction Game of Thrones gave us
Yep
😔
For the people that read the books, I personally would love seen some Lady Stoneheart in next season ...
Weird that they stuck Lem in, yet no Stoneheart.
I've been hoping to see her for a while now, but I think it's too late for them to build that whole character in two series
I've been hoping to see her for a while now, but I think it's too late for them to build that whole character in two series
Luis Oliva yeah
Lady Stoneheart somewhat works in the books but she would not work in th TV series.
I really hope they can make a movie or a trilogy just about Roberts Rebellion.
I hope the same
i would prefer a movie about aegon conquering westeros or something like that but roberts rebellion would be great aswell
I think the Dance of Dragons would be awesome.
The Andal invasion too
HBO is going to do prequels to this show once it is over.
My guess is that Jaime will kill Cersei, after siding with Danaerys. And that his last words to her will be: "the things I do for love..."
Also I read this clever thing: "A song of Ice and Fire".... now remove the G
I think Jaime is azor ahai
no way it's Jon...Or Dany. That would be neat.
Daenerys*
Either Jamie or Tyrion. Death by strangling. As the prophecy was told to Cersei.
Didn't watch Game of Thrones for 2 years after season 4. Gotta say, binge watching Season 5 and 6, I feel like the wait to see shit happen paid off lol Fucking loved season 6. Everything just formed real nicely.
Nah, they were garbage, and you were a fool for thinking otherwise.
@@Al-ji4gd well in hindsight…🤣😭
Rewatching this in 2021... it hurts.
Margaery is gone. For fuck's sake. At least we still have Elementary.
What hurts is that she knew shit was going down.
+Elizabeth Braddock Yeah, but ye olde f*ckface wanted them to keep going.
+Elizabeth Braddock Basically, when people get locked into a room in Westeros, you know something's happening.
but i don't like Elementary =(... but I still need my Margaery fix
+Joshua Guerrero Mmhm, but there only like 5-6 episodes with Natalie being Natalie so you only have to put up with Jonny Lee Miller for a little bit.
that wasn't the red keep , that was the sept of baelor wasn't it?
yeah
thank you!!!!!
+Itay Harel Cersei was in the red keep when this happened
you knew what he meant. Just shhh.
She was in the keep. Margaery and Mace and all others were in the Sept of Baelor. And he kept repeating it...
Cersei's Motto: I Choose Violence :)
It breaks my heart to see Jeremy being so hopeful about season 7
imo I think this is the best season
Agreed!
No.
yup
Better then five, Beyond that I would say the first four seasons were better. Great final though~
at least by far the best season ending!
I hope there's a bit where Tyrion and the Sand Snakes clash because the Sand Snakes killed his niece. I know he's diametrically opposed to his sister but he always held the children as blameless (not to mention he was the one who sent her to Dorne).
There's no telling what they'll do. Considering how terribly the Sand Snakes and the entire Dornish storyline has been written on this show so far, I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't even come up.
+SeeJay804 I heard in the books the Dorne leader, sorry forgot his name right now, was actually quite brilliant and his revenge plan was something like decades in the making. I don't want to spoil what was spoiled to me but I'll just say I am a little disappointed it didn't play out that way
+UnlimitedProduction1 You and everyone else who read the book
nothing about this alliance makes sense, an alliance formed by varys who dany knows tried to poison her season 1
oh and qyburn who is now hand of queen cersi is loyal to dorne...
Season 5 was a disappointing mess to me, and I was looking forward to season 6 redeeming the show. I was late to the party and only started watching game of thrones around the time season 6 started airing, and I binged the absolute shit out of the entire show thus far. After finishing the shockingly bland 5th season, I was a little concerned that a lot of people were complaining that season 6 was the worst season, up until the last 2 episodes at least. Welp, just finished binging the entire season in one day, and I gotta tell ya..........WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK WERE YOU GUYS SMOKING?!?!?!?!?! THIS SEASON KICKED SO MUCH ASS! SO MUCH ASS KICKING THAT I'M GOING TO TYPE THE REST OF THIS COMMENT IN ALL CAPS! Nah I'm just kidding. But anyway, this season I found to be phenomenal. Every episode was either really good or fucking god tier, with the final two episodes being not only the best episodes in the show so far, but being the single 2 best episodes of any TV show I have ever seen in my entire life. And I've seen Breaking Bad a few times. I honestly don't understand the hate this season has been getting, at all.
9.5/10 I know Jeremy hates this term, but this season was a fucking masterclass.
Agreed, Season 6 was fantastic imo, definitely up there with S3/4, but since it surpassed the books there was no way it wasn't gonna create a bridge between fans. Some fans will stick by the books and criticize, others will stick by the show, and some will be caught in between. As a show watcher, I though this season was utterly fantastic, so much payoff, great setup for the ending of the story, and I can't wait for next season. As a book reader I'm prepared for there to be major differences between WOW/ADOS and S6-8 but I've made piece with that and I can now enjoy both equally. I still can't wait for WOW and look forward to seeing all the new stuff brought with it that the show couldn't fit in.
I actually liked season 5 ill will say it is the weakest season of the series
+Makaveli181 same, it wasn't a bad season of television by any means. It just was the weakest. Season 6 really brought the show back on top.
How do people dislike this season?? This season is the first season of tv that topped Breaking bad season 4. I think people dislike season 6 because it has more plot development and less filler. I think they hate it because it's new and original. So many twists and turns.
Fun fact: the season 5 was based more in the books than season 6 ( I would say, I was 70% feast for crows and 30% a dance with dragons) I guess season 5 would have been better if they had added Dorne storyline just like it was in the books
Dude, The Red Keep didn't blow up (the main castle), the sept did (Great Sept of Baelor).
Was I the only one who was sad to see Loras go?
Well, atleast the actor will have time to prepare for the Iron Fist role in the show on Netflix.
Meganonr1
I liked ser Loras though. He was one of the most skilled swordsmen on that show, and I was hoping he would have his moment in the sun.
Loras and Margarey...I was like noooooooooooo!!
It is Mace Tyrell who we should be upset about. We will miss that beautiful voice.
He was one of the most skilled swordsmen in Westeros, and definitely the most prominent male LGBT character. He was cool in my book. Really sucks that he's dead.
I think it's pretty safe to say that this is the best season finale of Game of Thrones, and by default, the best season finale in television history.
+StrawHat Shizzy That's the series finale though.
Hell no its not. The recency bias is real.
So true (about Avatar)
no, recently yes but breaking bad finale is better than this episode
+Lewis Birkett I don't think so. I think game of Thrones as a whole has grown to be better than Breaking Bad.
" 'cause he's his brother *or is heeeee?* " I just love Jeremy's comedic timing, he's great!
Lol? Batman? Arya was more Daredevil + Punisher this season than Batman.
will batman be put in prison for murder or will they reboot this shitty universe again?
Batman:
Parents killed.
Travles the world.
Traind by assassins.
Seeks own version of justice.
Arya
Parents killed.
Travles the world.
Traind by assassins.
Seeks own version of justice.
+Mystogan Edolas couldn't agree more
Mystogan Edolas Uhhh...
Daredevil
Parents killed
Had Sight once, then loses it
Overcomes sight impediment through training
Seeks own version of justice
Arya
Parents killed
Had Sight once, then loses it
Overcomes sight impediment through training
Seeks own version of justice
Punisher
Family brutally killed
kills bad guys brutally
Seeks vengeance
Arya
Family brutally killed
kills bad guys brutally
Seeks vengeance
Anirudh Menon I could see why you would compare it to the punisher, but daredevil, nahh. Sure, she lost her sight, but that was such a small arc in her storyline, where as Daredevil's loss of vision was a major part to becoming who he is.
A lot of ppl say that her storyline is similar to batman because both of them still carry the linger of their parent's death around with them. And they were also trained by assassins, which is a big aspect that shapes them to who they are today.
Ramsey is still Alive though guys. If you look carefully at the scene, you will see that as the dog went for his face, he was able to break free and crawl under the dumpster, escaping their attack. He will return half way through the next season, just watch. Wake up Sheeple
Oh yeah, and I forgot to mention all that blood was actually of the body that fell on top of him
this is not walking dead
Hadid Amshah oh really? Because I saw some zombies
best comment
Gold!
Arya's part was actually the weakest for me. Her whole arc was disappointing. So much build up for nothing.
Granted, I do like the idea of Jaquen training Arya to teach her a lesson and make her realize who she really is, have her remember she is a Stark and always will be and not that he really wanted her to join the Faceless men. That he simply wanted to give her skills so she could have her revenge as Arya Stark. However, that's just a superstition on my part and even if it was his plan all along, the pay off was not worth two seasons of that.
Forgot to say: because of that, her murdering Walder Frey made me go "meh."
really? because i haven't gotten to watch season 6 yet and as jeremy told that part i literally teared up. what a despicable piece of shit walder frey is- nothing will be like seeing arya avenge her family.
I felt the same way too! Was surprising how little I cared about her slitting Walder's throat. As you said two seasons built it up and by that time the Red wedding for me was a distant memory so the revenge was kinda luke warm, it didn't have the impact it was supposed to I believe. And yeah I eye rolled at every part with Arya's training story.. And it's in such contrast to her interaction with the Hound, I LOVED it when she appeared on screen back then!
Third. Arya with the Faceless Men was cool that we got to see Jaqen again, but it's a two-three episodes cool. Not for as long as it lasted. Even just retarded contrivances like Meryn Trant happening to be all the way in Essos.
Arya walking around in plain daylight to obviously book passage back home and getting shanked (and it not turning out to be a scheme or Jaqen testing the Waif or something clever like that)? Unforgivably shitty writing. She deserved so much better.
I absolutely agree. It's like they literally don't know what to do with her it's so bad
Jon Snow.. no surprise... it was SO OBVIOUS!
+Chris kk this comment makes no sense

No "brah".. from reading the books which the majority of folks never have. Read the books and was a fan before all the HBO shit... but - thanks for amazingly insightful comment! What would we do with you ... kk!

All basterds are regarded as Snow, so how is it obv?
Love you video man. You are hands down one of the best reviewers on youtube.
Okay, this is how I see it going down in the future for Cersei, Dany and Jon Snow.
Cersei, on the verge of losing King's Landing, will try to burn everything with Wild Fire. Jamie will, like with the Mad King, stab her from behind, earning the new title Queenslayer.
Dany, after conquering the south, will head North to Winterfell with her army and dragons, demanding that the King of the North bend the knee. Jon, focused on the coming army of the dead, will meet her in an open field and try to reason with her that a greater threat is coming, but she refuses to believe him.
"Yeild." She will say, riding Drogon.
"...No." Jon replies.
Drogon then fire, completely consuming Jon Snow. But, much to the astonishment of all watching, Jon Snow survives the flame, his clothes burned away, naked, Longclaw in hand, his true identity finally revealed.
Wow that sounds so good!
not even close bruh.first of all jon is not fireproof.his hand burned when he saved the lord commander from that wight in season 1.not even daenerys is fireproof in the books except for the birth of the dragons where blood magic was involved, they did it for the show only.i doubt there will be any confrontation between dany and jon considering tyrion is her Hand and he got along with jon in season 1.i hope it goes like :
-You seem to have come far since the last time i saw you, bastard
-You too,dwarf.
And then start smiling.
Well, she still has Mad King blood in her veins and years of inbreeding isn't kind to anyone's mental stability.
Lol WTF??? You're not even close. First of all, why the fuck would Daenerys try to conquer the North??? She let the Greyjoys have their independence and even told Tyrion, "The others are free to ask for their independence as well". So that makes no sense. Plus, she broke up with Darrio so she could MARRY and form more alliances. Jon is clearly the most eligible bachelor in Westeros. He is the king of the North, he hates the Lannisters, he's noble -- which Tyrion can attest to-- and he's a fucking dreamboat. They will def be allies...
+Beauty Effulgent they are going to meet in the show
The soundtrack of the last episode was amazing
It's fantastic
It’s funny how so many people thought the King’s Landing stuff would come to a head before the conflict with the white walkers. It just makes sense….
Why the hell is no one talking about samwell tarly personally I see he deserves atleast a little bit of attention to him
vickram aditya He is the most boring character on the show
Well I agree but atleast a little attention would be fine right
not the red keep, the Sept of Baylor, sorry
'Red Keep' should have capital letters as a well known landmark
Let's be anal about this guys
Yeah if it was the red keep that blew up, idk if cersei wouldve been so happy
I feel like once Euron discovers that his niece and nephew have beaten him to Dany he'll throw in with the Lannisters. The Iron Islands and the North have too much bad blood them to work and it's not like John needs ships to fight the Others. Cersei on the other hand does.
Good point
Dunno if Euron is dumb enough to try to fight Dany even with the Lannisters on his side. He's the one who brought the mother of dragons coolaid to the Iron Islands, I doubt he'd convince himself that him and some Lannisters would be the first force that she did not savagely defeat.
Thoreaux Another good point.
Who's John?
Moushira Magdy Jon I forgot to leave the "H" out lol
I am the true heir to the throne.
Shhh Walder, eat your kids quietly now.
Arya is Hit-Girl lmao The hound and Jaquen are tied for big daddy
Does that make Jon Snow Kick-Ass?
Lux Bellator lol yeah I remember the last scene of kick ass 2, wait hol up....
Big problem with Cersei is that she really doesn't have any forces left....besides the Lannister army...which, now that her Uncle Kevan is dead....makes Jaime the Lord of Casterly Rock.... so if he decides to turn against his sister...then she's the Queen of nothing anymore.
True, she fucked herself. She's very likely firmly in the belief that Jaime will never turn against her but he's probably the one who will take her life.
SeeJay804
Except she probably 100% expects Jamie to kill her because the prophecy has come true and she rules but all her children are dead.
TheLoreSeeker Even in the books she expects Tyrion to be the one to try to kill her, not Jaime. In the show, her brother killing her isn't part of the prophecy.
SeeJay804
Oh yeah....Tyrion.... I keep forgetting about Tyrion.
*****
I dont imagine more than one dragon's worth.
Ruling the 7 Kingdoms? Hardly, she's lost the Dorne, The North and The Vale
she does not know that she lost the Vale
But we do. It's why I think at this point, her reign will be short and self destructive since The White Wolf, Mother of Dragons and the Snake lady all are gunning for her. I dunno if it was a slip of the tounge, or if Jeremy just forgot about that.
But she still got the Frey clowns, er soldiers. Oh wait, Walder and all his sons are dead. So yeah, Cersei is pretty much fhucked up.
And possibly the Iron Bank might make a comeback next season
And the most important one, The Reach where all the food is and probably the largest single standing army inside Westeros. She pretty much has the kings lands, the West, insecure about the Trident with Frey dead and who knows what's up with the Stormlands. She might make a pact with Euron Greyjoy giving her a navy. But her situation is pretty much f'd and she was the one that did it.
Watching this is so sad. Everyone was so excited for season 7 and 8 only for them to be a huge disappointment
I'm just sitting here, predicting that Gilly will say "I'm too progressive for this shit" and join Sam in the library
Calling it now, Jaime will be the one to kill Cersei...
I'll go one better, he's the one that kills her, then kills himself.
And Brienne will find the bodies.
Everyone knows Jaime kills Cersei. You know it after the 1st book.
Cersei is given a prophecy that she will be killed by her valonqar (Which means younger brother). This is why she hates Tyrion. Coz she assumes it means him. But Cersei and Jaime are twins. And Cersei was born 1st. So Jaime is also her valonqar.
Yes. Jaime always talk about him adoring Cersei's love to her (their) children, and now Tommen's dead and she did what Mad King tried to do before Jaime killed him, I think he's out of reason to defend her.
Dawg I was just telling my homeboi the same thing Lmao. Either him or Arya.
Is nobody going to mention how Varys, Arya, and Littlefinger all discovered the art of teleportation? I thought it was sloppy writing how they never once even foreshadowed this ability. And to make matters worse, you'd think Varys would show this to Dany due to being a Targeryen sympathizer, I mean Arya and Littlefinger I understand why they'd keep it a secret. Varys on the other hand is still keeping this trick up his sleeve for some reason. Not sure what to think of this. Anybody got any ideas or theories?
Okay. So. Sarcasm. That's a thing. I know that can be a little difficult to convey over a written comment but really? I've noticed a couple people can't quite take the piss, please understand some of you guys might be taking my comment a little bit hard. As for those that got it, good on you. But fuck me right? It's not like I didn't notice that time passes between certain instances. Or even that the show writers just wanted to cut the transition out for the sake of moving the plot forward. But when that's just thrown in a story where time and distance has been an important element since the beginning, you can expect some people to question or even jest about it. Kinda like that time I tried the latter. But whatever. The show does some, not a lot, but some extremely questionable things. Almost like Arya being stabbed to shit but running like Ezio Auditore Da Mothufuckin Firenze soon after. But whatever, it's still one of the best on television. So yeah ladies, gents, guys, don't take it too seriously.
Varys' either a multiplying Warlock now .... or this is a straight-up production error. But lets go with Warlock for now, cause that would be ace.
What are you talking about? Having trouble with passage of time?
Obviously time passed. We don't need title cards reading "two weeks later" to know that.
Ken Britton Sarcasm.
More like 20 months
Season 6 was my absolute favorite. Everyone told me I would like 7 better, and yes some amazing things happen and so many long threads are wrapped up, but 6 was so satisfying. It lined up all the starks for a reunion which got me pumped about 7.
Season 7 was trash and so was Season 8
The rest is fucking fantastic
@@user-xi8yh8qi9j No, seasons 5, 6, 7 and 8 were trash. The rest is fucking fantastic.
@@Al-ji4gd Ok little man
Holy shit he predicted the Greyjoy vs Greyjoy fleet battle from season 7 episode 2
NinJack 17
Yeah, it was pretty darn predictable.
Calling it, Cersei will try to burn Dany with wildfire, but she's immune to fire.
nah i think the explosion scene hints that cersei used up all the wildfire fuel and will eventually have to think of something else to fight danny. also i have a feeling that jamie would thrust something other than his dick through her somepoint in the next season who knows :-)
Nobody is immune to wildfire. I don't think it's fire, I think it's phosphorus and something mixed in actuality
+chaopz Mah, hon. There was stores of wildfire all over King's Landing based on the mad king's incessant need to want to want to burn everybody. There were stashes they still felt are hidden, therefore, wildfire is still an option.
+lunabrahs Well, no Targaryen is immune to fire at all. Daenerys' situation at the end of book 1/season 1 when she emerges from the fire with the 3 dragons, Martin says it was a one time thing, but of course D&D don't give a shit like the terrible writers they are and went and did it anyways. Also, there was a Targaryen in Targaryen history who thought he was invincible against fire, so he tried drinking wildfire and obviously died. Wildfire is made by the Guild of Alchemists and is composed of a shit ton of nasty things. She wouldn't stand a chance against it.
They've said in past episodes that the ENTIRE city has wild fire under it because the king was insane and wanted to wipe out every single one of his enemies.
What wasn't mentioned was how badass Sansa became in this season. That little smile she gave while walking away from Ramsay as he was killed...there is not only the King of the North; Sansa is the Queen of the North!
No Sansa was just annoying this season, and made a lot of idiotic moves
Confusing the word "review" with "recap"
@ 3:41 I almost spat my coffee out watching you do tommens death impression. God I love Jeremys shit, best reviewer on youtube by a country mile.
Corrections, Knights of the Vale and the High Sept, not Tully's and Red Keep
no big deal hahaha
Correction: Baelor's Sept or The Sept of Baelor. ;-)
what are you talking about? roose bolton is poisoned by his enemies
It is known.
ikr
oh good old days when we thought season 5 wasn't good enough
Great Analysis! Cleared up some thing I missed too actually
I thought it was really obvious that that girl was Arya.
Well then you predicted teleportation powers XD Congrats
Figured it out when he said "You're not one of mine, are you? Too pretty."
Na I noticed it was arya when Jaime kept staring at her like he recognised her.
I was reminded of when Arya tried to walk out of the theatre after poisoning Lady Crane's drink, but she knew Arya wasn't just one of the stagehands.
Same I thought Jamie had something to do with it after their talk
wanna hear a joke ?
Kings landing (I'll see myself out)
I want to hear an original joke
+Robert Sergio ikr, it's been done to death already
I laughed so hard when Aria pulled the full Mission Impossible mask trick.
Just reached over, pulled off her face, and slit his throat.
I honestly wanted her to set fire to the building and walk away in slow motion putting on sunglasses. She made a perfectly portioned mask that had life-like textures, hair, and moved with her face, she'd have sunglasses.
I laughed at "one kind of baby"
I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't like the inconsistent development of the plot in the show. It feels like people can't distinguish the difference between enjoying what happens on the show (I. e. annoying people dying, starks succeeding, Jon = King of the North, etc.), and good writing. Even though Ned Stark, Rob Stark, and Catelyn Stark die, you continue watching for the amazing writing and characters, it just feels as though characters have been made paper thin portrayals of what we established in previous seasons. That being said, I will give major props to the cinematography of Eps 9 & 10; it was phenomenal, just didn't enjoy the writing.
What? You're not supposed to criticize Game of Thrones. It's the best show ever created in the history of mankind. Nothing's wrong with it. /s
I agree that its the best show ever but these last 2 season wore not on bar with the rest of the series
john lenon It's not the best show ever. I was being sarcastic lol
Lol nah, youd be right for the rest of the season, but the last two episodes? They were awesome. My only criticism was not having more during the frey-son pie eating scene, that was too quick. Probably pacing though
Stop trying to diminish other people's opinions just cause you don't agree. Your opinion is 0% better or more valid than theirs and vice versa.
6 fucking seasons of "winter is coming" finally, the fucking winter has come
And finally Dany leaves fucking Meereen.
Thing is, it seems winter has only come to the North so far. Everyone in King's Landing is still chillin' in the sun... except for those who got incinerated, of course. Even the Twins and Oldtown looked pretty temperate, let alone Dorne.
It's what Ned always promised
Lol wtf, you're dumb and can't understand the visual cues. Oldtown was were winter was confirmed to be here since Samwell saw all the birds flying south from the citadel. Dumb fuck
Poop Popster
Ugh, good God you're a thick one... I *know* Winter has come, for fuck's sake. I know what the ravens mean, I'm not stupid. All I said is that, bar the North and the ravens being sent out, there have been fuck all indicatitions that it's actually physically "winter", i.e. it getting colder and nature adjusting. If it's winter in Oldtown, then it's winter right now, too, because the trees there are just as green as the one outside my window, and the temperatures seem to fit as well. Hooray, time to bring out the snowboard! ;-)
I'm pretty sure we both know who d&d's little bitch is in this conversation... it's *you*, little fanboy :*
All I know is I'm happy that the hound is still alive he's got to be my favourite character especially when he was escorting arya.
Jeremy’s screech after he says cunt was hilarious I was still laughing about it after the video lol
