  • If your toilet won't flush and you have a close coupled cistern, this video is for you.
    This video takes you through the steps to repair your toilet if you have a syphon cistern, close coupled.
    Just make sure that your toilet set up is the same as the one I have shown here and you shouldn't have any problems fixing your toilet and getting it flushing again.
    Hope this video helps you out.
    Here are the parts I used, just make sure that they will fit into your cistern - double check the sizes;
    Close coupling bolts: amzn.to/2mQmTcb
    Rubber Donut Washer: amzn.to/2mgrNvp
    Flush Syphon: amzn.to/2lReCWg

    the only thing before you conect the system to the wall you should run a bead off silicon and a ruber washer and metal washer to the wall enjoy the video.

    Do not install this syphon this is incorrect use a dismantable syphon so if this problem reacurres you can replace the diaphragm washer without removing the cistern from the pan

      That's a good point.
      I would say that you should choose a make you think will still be around in the future.
      Syphons tend to last 5 to 10 years and beyond. I have went to get replaceable parts for syphons only to discover that the company who made them has gone bust or they have changed the design slightly and the new parts don't fit.
