I cannot put into words that the military NEVER HONORED these soldiers for their duty. Just willing to let them be forgotten but God had another plan!! Thank you to the women of the six triple eight!!!!

Fun Fact: They dishonorable discharged the large majority of black WWII veterans so they couldn't receive GI benefits this was the funds that created the white middle class and there were towns built for returning white soldiers that black people weren't allowed to live in. FHA housing was invented during this time.

A lot of people don't understand that those pieces of communication are what gave soldiers unwavering strength.

Amazing history. I am glad they’re getting the recognition they so deserve. I wish this interesting piece of history is taught in schools.

They were forced to live and eat in unhealthy conditions, but look who now has a place and is being remembered on the right side of history-and who isn’t.

Harlem Hailcats, Hidden figures, Red tails, The Six Triple Eight. This is just some of black America's accomplishments . God knows we have been nothing more than a gift to this country. You can only achieve these kind of things through a spiritual power greater than yourself . Our ancestors has over achieved in this country. Unfortunately historically never getting there credit. Hopefully now they will these movies tell our story.

That’s not Arlington. It’s a veterans cemetery in Sullfolk Va named Albert G. Horton. My dad who was a vet is also buried there. It does look like Arlington. It’s just as beautiful.
If you are a vet you can be buried in any of the locations including Arlington.
