Another fantastic lore video. I'd honestly forgotten about the "it's a spaceship" part, so I think that throws my Rykros theory out a bit - although saying that I feel it's practically a confirmation that the Dark Falz from Algol was sealed away in a spaceship and shot off to 'never' be found again (until it was...)
19:20 now we call the next room the room of doom because it has 5 chaos bringers, 2 belras , 2 sorcerers and then goes into more sorcerers and belras 😂😂

wow, thanks for this! This explains a lot to me as someone who never played this on original hardware :) Rico's fate is a tragic one, I kinda pieced that one out especially when I first fought Falz but this video set me straight! I now have a much better understanding of the lore. Can't wait for EPISODE 2 my man! :D Oh, I'm one of the many people who just play TTF 30x a day, so hehe :D
Another great vid. Something stuck out that I hadn't noticed before, the MUT DITTS POUMN text - I had a heart of Poumn back in the day and never realised what it was about
If I remember correctly, the description for Heart of Poumn also makes a reference to Alys/Alis, so there is a definite link!

If you play in story mode (single player for "Offline" or Government quests for "Multiplayer") you get the real endings.
You need to finish it on Ultimate to get the "Final" ending however...

Btw at 22:03, you can also hear the dark undertone (string section) in the supposed "peaceful piano" piece. Such a simple thing, but I love it.
Yeah, the piano track (The Nearest Place to Heaven Part 1) is honestly one of the creepiest songs in the game. The piano sounds really peaceful, but under that there's weird static/distortion and the strings. The transition from that into the 2nd part (when the illusion of the field fades) is genuinely horrifying and one of the best moments in the game.
@@SectionSkyly This game has so many great moments! The third form of Falz--especially during the crescendo of "Cry, for 'IDOLA' the Holy" is also one hell of a memory!
You did a great job telling Rico’s story, it’s nice to hear the little things about the series I’ve forgot about…the feeling of looking at the pioneer 1 faces still give me the ick. Looking forward to episode 2’s series!

Loved this series of videos. Really good. After finishing episode 1 do you think pioneer 1 still had some wrong doings or was it all falz? Did pioneer create the mines to dig out the ship? Or were they mining resources out the ship. And what’s the deal with de rol le? Was he a monster from the ruins that managed to make his way up to the caves, were they experimenting on him or was that just speculation? Just wondering how much of the native life changing was down to pioneer 1 or was it completely down to falz creeping out of his containment
It's honestly hard to say after just Episode 1. Pioneer 1 were definitely up to something (why build a mine completely out of sight of the Central Dome settlement? Why lie about the 'immigration' pillars?), and I believe it's hinted in later areas that Ragol was specifically chosen, almost as if Pioneer 1 knew something. Ultimately though, I think the awakening of Falz was just horrible timing that Pioneer 1 maybe hadn't banked on.
As for De Rol, he's definitely not a ruins monster (he's not Dark element, so he's probably not a D-Cell lifeform like the ruins monsters). The Dr. Osto's Research and Unsealed Door quests make it quite clear that scientists on Pioneer 1 were experimenting with Beta772 (De Rol's codename), and it's assumed it broke out of containment and got into the waterways, where it went onto infect everything in Caves. As for where De Rol came from in the first place, I don't think it's really explained.
I think Pioneer 1 definitely had an impact on Ragol (they were adjusting the climate after all), but I think it was a chain of events that culminated in everyone getting wiped out.
Oh, I hope you don't get mad at me for spoiling this one but, ah in PSportable Infinity you can unlock Red Ring Rico as an ally :)
Not a spoiler for me, no worries! I know there's scenes with Rico and Flowen in Infinity; that game was pretty much a love letter to PSO!

@@SectionSkyly in ep2 hunting for Gi Gue once ! do i need to use telepipe or shut the game down then start the game again hunt for the Gi Gue again an do it all over over again to get a DAR/RDR from area's or box's thank you channel Utuber
If you're hunting Gi Gue offline, you'll need to quit after each run (you only get 1 Gi Gue per seaside run), which makes it very awkward to hunt them!

Is it possible to get the Ending Credits in BB? It had some artwork in a montage of NPCs on P2. One of them showed Tyrell in the aftermath.

It does,when you defeat falz on ultimate it shows the ending.
Play it offline (single player mode) or Government quests (multiplayer story mode) for that.
