Until 1981 you used to have to drive through sandwich. The poor town centre was gridlocked. Then the bypass came in sections.

Good to know an “only the locals know” when driving through unknown towns. Every town has them! and you only find out about them when you open a letter from the police to say you broke the law! 🤦🏻‍♀️

Ha ha yeah we still need to make sure the roads we’re driving on are part of the public highway 👍

@@drivewithcare_uk 🤣🤣 what I mean is .. say for example by not taking due care or attention when it comes to certain speed cameras or cameras in general. Say you visit a new town where if you aren’t familiar with the road lay out or that surprise Mobil police unit is round the corner and you get caught out! Glasgow! Stoke on Trent! Nottingham! even parts of Northampton come to mind. Always good to be reminded how to drive properly! 🤣

Ah I see what you mean now. Yes if do drive in an unknown town or city, it could be very easy to be caught out. I guess the trick is to observe all the road signs and all will be well 👍
