Thank you so much for sharing? When you take it off the zipper what is the size and weight you are storing? I am trying to see if this could work for your Winnebago Trend 23B.
We’ve had the room up when there were 28 mph wind gusts but a lot depends on terrain, other RV’s blocking wind, etc and it held up fine. Beyond that if probably take it down or in general if we’re in a location where it’s going to be rainy and nasty we just wouldn’t put it up. We definitely monitor the weather in regards to using this product but overall we still love it
I'm very interested in those water bags since you can empty them and not tow the weight around. Where could I find them? Also, how has the tent held up? Zippers? Fabric?
Here's an Amazon link for the water bags amzn.to/48KZqhG The tent has held up very nicely, no issues with zippers and no tears in the fabric. It seems to be very well made so far
If Amazon is out of stock I’d check with the manufacturer, Carefree of Colorado at their website carefreeofcolorado.com and see if they have them. The pin rails have definitely been a game changer, they stand up to the wind and you don’t have to worry about it 😁
When it is packed down how large is it? I would like to figure out where we would keep it. When not in use. We have a Winnebago Trend 23B which is 24 long and no slides. I crave for a little extra space.
The awning room basically fits into what we call a “body bag”. It’s about 6’ long, 2’ wide. We actually have it laying in the back seat of our small truck right now but we also carry it in the overhead bunk of the Class C
Thanks for asking. We purchased them from Amazon. In our Amazon Shop, we have included the rafters in our “RV Outside” favorite items www.amazon.com/shop/wanderopenroads/list/2W7N5J4Q67Q7M?ref_=aipsflist_aipsfwanderopenroads

I'm looking for one of these for my class c. Thanks for the information!
No problem! 😁
I would like to see a video of it during wind and rain. I really want to get one but taking it up and down for weather would be a lot.

I really like your space! I am ok with work to install. How do I convince my husband this is a wonderful space!
Thank you! We definitely love it… tell your husband it literally doubles your living space, which in a Class C is critical

@@WanderOpenRoads thanks! And is this TTO you were at in this video?
@@RandomStuff-zt6qf yes it certainly is 😎

How well do you think something like that will hold up in the Midwest tornados alley? It's not always windy by me but sometimes we get 75mph wind
Our experience is if we’re hitting anything above 25 mph, then we take it down. We’ve had it up during 35 mph winds and it took a beating.
@WanderOpenRoads avarage wind speed is under 25 but we do get a few gusty days thanks!

Where did you get the pin rafters

What are the dimensions of this room?
@GeorgeStar approximately 15’x9’
OMG Way too much work.
