WARNING WARNING. There are at least three pieces of Thule parts that DO NOT come with a QuickFit Awning as shown in this video. Firstly , right at the beginning it shows black plastic ring being inserted in the Omnistor awning. In fact you have to purchase separately a fitting kit to be used here. It is part number 307050, it is four x ! metre lengths (which join together) and fit inside the Omnistor awning at the back, to allow you to fit these black plastic rings. Secondly, the video shows a tension rafter being fitted in the middle of the awning. This is part number 307310 which DOES NOT come with the QuickFit awning. Thirdly, the video shows 2 x Thule Hold Down Straps being used at the front. The two come as a part, number 307196, and again do not form part of the QuickFit awning. I think this is really poor on the part of Thule not to point this out on the video. I am not slagging off the product which I think is very good, just be aware of extras you will need. Oh and I am still trying get the complete awning put up in 15 minutes, but hey you are on holiday..... time is not important..... unless it starts to rain in mid (pardon the expression) erection.

i bought it for 6300 awning and the specific Ducato one. wow, its so wrong, the gap for the sliding door is too short so the hinge hits the it on opening, or catches the door on the left. there are 2 straps to clamp the tent tightly to the body work, good for the left but the right hand one centres over the wheel so cannot be clamped. the shroud for the bottom to cut out wind is designed for a caravan ie it is meant to slide into a bottom awning rail which vans do not have so there is no way to fasten it on except maybe a magnet but with the plastic mouldings this doesnt work. it also doesnt allow for any electric step you may have fitted, the wheel cover is supplied with screws or 3m tape to fasten press studs on the wheel arch , nope not doing that, there have been 22 emails between thule and myself regarding all this and its still not resolved, my supplier has agreed to take back and swap for the rain blocker.
This is exactly what I have been looking for to expand the living space in my 2019 177" wb Sprinter. I need to know what awning I have to purchase that will fit this option. It does seem like a lot of work but it also seems to seamlessly integrate with the van.
There are three recommended items shown in this video. The awning center bar, the wind tie downs for the awning corners and bars for the inside vertical walls. I looked in the manual for the QuickFit and it didn't list those items anywhere. Can you provide the Thule part numbers for those three items? Thanks a ton.
At one point in the video you show an optional "Foot" being fitted to the Fiamma awning leg. This does not appear to be a Fiamma part, so is it an after market 3rd party add-on ? Really appreciate a reply as I am really keen to get a couple of these items.. Thank you

This is the most tedious looking thing I've seen in a minute. I figured a product like this would be able to easily roll in and out with minimal set up after the first go. Guess not.
