The best part is after doing all this to the car it will still keep goin for another 50 years without breaking down
Duke DN i have a Landcruiser 120 series with 500k miles and I’ve went dune bashing and rock crawling in it over the years, yet it still drives like the same LC I bought new in 2006
@@johneldepresso exactly.
Yahya Alghamdi I’ve found a 1987 with 630k on it, still running.
then you wash it and take your wife out to dinner at a fancy restaurant ...best of all worlds
@@johneldepresso If that would be a Range Rover, now that would be something to be proud of. With a Landcruiser, it's the norm ;) .
Toyota is best of the best in my point of view
Its the best in everyone's point of view
Except for gas mileage in any of their seriously capable off road vehicles.
@@blewyd Clearly you don't know any Range Rover fans. They swear by them despite the inferior reliability compared to Toyota.
@@blazzz13 yeah I clearly don't. Not like I owned 3 or anything...
@@blewyd TOYOTA LÀ THƯƠNG HIỆU NỔI TIẾNG MÌNH THÍCH LÀ MÌNH MUA THÔI
Don’t be fooled by the looks
These are ultra tough, epic machines.

The best off road test for the new Landcruiser that I've seen on UA-cam.. Well done - relevant, entertaining and informative. Just subscribed : )
Father of all off-road vehicle's
JITHIN NU more like the KING of off-road vehicles
@Earl Rogers it has stock wheels on it
@Earl Rogers actually it is superior to its predecessors, power-wise, technology-wise and still over-engineered to the gills, the only problem is its luxury market target that leads it to mall crawler buyers, you're still able to use it to topple your government if you want to
Apparently the Jeep is the grandfather then?
@@mechmat12345 if only they didn't rust out and have an inferior power plant
This was the best offroad video demonstration I've seen on youtube. Thank you for posting this.
1:35 If you guys didn't know, Land Cruisers come with log splitting capability as standard
Chicken Soup what a weird joke...
That diesel engine at idle is so satisfying
tnx for real test not a commercial Add
1 D in Ad, short for Advertisement rather than Addition.
The best real world test so far on a 4 wheel drive..... keep it up. Much love frm Ghana
Simply the best.... Can't afford one but love it.

save your money, it will be the last vehicle you have to buy. In the long run they are a value!
I like guys who did this test! Beautiful that is! And the cruiser responded pretty cool.
I think I’ve watched this 20 times. I love the LC!
On the stock road tires at that... amazing.
I'd just like to mention that this test was done bone stock, including the stock Dunlop tires which are unfortunately pretty terrible. The fact that this truck can perform this well with those tires is really unbelievable.
Most people with built LC 200s never wheel them this hard.
I love seeing just how capable the stock design is.
I have a Land Cruiser 200 2009 year of manufacture, 1GR-FE engine, rear axle with Diff lock, fuel tank 140 liters, only ABS from electronic assistants, the car goes everywhere! A cool roomy seven-seater car!
the old 80 series in the video goes everywhere the 200 goes
Mike Green yup and then some
LOL, got skillz? :D This is not a car to brag about your offroading skillz but a fullsize SUV with comfort features that does NOT drive itself, derp.
Those real men in their real offroad vehicles with their real skillz don't use a fullsize SUV because it is less capable and rather say "Fuck comfort, I want something to brag about." ^^
A whole lot less comfortable tho.
Ben Iconic - yeah... na. But whatever makes you feel better.
The best off-road experience on Land Cruiser in youtube.....
And just imagine how well it would have done with a good set of AT tires.. Great video..
Wow! Best review ever! Stock tires too...wow!
A Video about 4x4 without the usual Hype, promoting accessories, and Macho bullshit. BRAVO
Now this is what we call, a real 4x4 SUV
The ultimate car is the land cruiser nothing to beat it .200 series is a beautiful car but what you can do in a 80 series you can't do in any other car .- 80 series is the best out of all
especially if you get a super charger
Nice demo of features not shown elsewhere! Thanks!
Best review over all
InstaBlaster...
This is real proper off-road capability test not the jokes some channels have been publishing
Landcruiser is the Big badass Daddy of all SUVs
And he looks after this great machine. No bangs or broken gear.
The best practical 4×4 Full body SUV...the LC will dominate any brand even with stock options. Give her the right Tyres and the Beast mode will unlock itself. Good video guys truly a practical test of a masterpiece!!🤗🤗🤗
I love these vehicles. My 4Runner is great but I ultimately want one of these.
cant go wrong with a Runner I had a '97 and it was nice. Got a "97 80 Series and drove it to 295K miles then got a 2013 200 Series. I'll always have a LC
a Mercedes will fall apart in a few minutes, getting thru this
Not the g class.
that's beyond impressive to watch a full stock huge SUV do all that.... no winch, no huge knobby tires, no silly bumpers....
the KDSS systems is amazing
4:08 awesome traction control.
8:05 what a fantastic damage caused by the cruel driver
Really good demonstration of traction control and different modes available..
Great cars.
And it’s like taking your lounge into the bush.
Chulada de camioneta , mis respetos y felicitaciones, Toyota es Toyota .
Why don't you guys use HD camera to capture this? The video is little bit poor quality. Please try to make it better. But I appreciate your effort to making real feed back of the features. Well done.
Toyota does not need to experiment or test respect from 🇱🇾🔥☠✊
Thanks for doing this, I was confused, even after reading the manual, about the differences between sand/mud and rock.
Put a mild OME lift (3 1/2 inches) some 33" Bf Goodrich KM2's and this MOTHER will get ya thru anything...
What a Marvel!!!
I wish they would put those turn assist features in the FJ cruiser that would be badass
My Dream Car.. I will buy it one day.. Target in a year or 2.. Good Video fellas.. now thats what I call putting it on actual practical tests.. subb'ed
Update?
Don't worry you will one day. Btw, corona is drowning all of us. 🤕😪
@@powerkill1014 not yet mate! :(
@@ramvelavarthi5321 no worries, one day you will
Real SUV in the OFF ROAD Range
First of all they are not using offroad terrain tyres this is the reason they get stuck few places..
Daksh Kumar this car doesn't need offroad terrain tyres. This car has technology to get off when stuck that no anyother SUVs have crawl control option.
My 4runner does also has KDSS, AT tires and a lift. I would match it against this cruiser. No v8 but not needed when crawling around like this.
You're running street or HT tires on the 2016 LC, aren't you? Put a decent set of AT like BFG KO2 tires on there and you would probably get more out of the A trac on mud...
ht more fun because when you get stuck the party just begin hahahah
The best, nothing more to say.
This beast with 5.7 L engine will be difficult to find.... And will be priceless
best of best and one of my always favorite
very great car and review to watch. Dreaming to drive this someday.
they are the bomb, Ive had 2 and will always have one in my garage...
Best review on this vehicle ive seen, wish we could get that diesel idle here in the US
Excellent video. Is this all stock?
woolengrappler yes
Rob - starting at the 2min mark when climbing the slippery clay hill, was there not the opportunity to simply crawl up at a much slower pac? Im not sure what this part of the video was actually demonstrating? Was there not a setting on the MTS where you could just slowly crawl up? Or was the clay and steepness simply too much even for MTS?
Great video. Putting it through its paces.
Awesome machine even with road tyres can go anywhere.
Great Car, I love this Car, It's a good Model
Awesome car with exellent reliability
Perfect vehicle for off roading

Like the Energizer batteries commercial: Land Cruiser's keep on going, and going, and going, and going.....
The HULK OF SUV💪💪💪💪💪
One of the Descendents of WILLYS JEEP
GREAT test guys, more like this please
I'm now struggling between the Lexus LX and the Land cruiser. The LX has 20" tire as standard and 21" tire for the Platinum whereas the LC has between 17" and 20". Large tires usually make vehicles more frm and look bold. The LX also has leather dashboard with more classier interior than the Land Cruiser. The only thing I find looking better on the LC than the LC is the front view design. The LC has a more upfront looking type while the LX front looks somehow tilted downwards.
AA PETROLEUM Limited the landcruiser has a better approach and departure angles than the lx570
mobil impian saya ,,,kapan bisa terbeli yaa? toyoya LC 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Offroading done in style 👍
The last truck I will ever own !
Great video. Thinking of going off-road with this car and this was vert helpful.
Cool video. Impressive capability for a stock rig with all season tires.
ขอบคุณมากครับ
Thank you very much
That's real Tibet conquerer.
G63 AMG: one-way
Land Cruiser V8 diesel: round trip
Is crawl control as good as having three differential locks
I like the side/front cameras. I'm wondering how I could add something DIY on my 100 series.
Thanks Rob, listened to your PodCast on 4X4 Earth. Amazing views you have on various issues from ethical 4wd advertising, ANCAP safety star rating systems etc etc. keep up the great work you do which in my opinion is the epitome of motor journalism in Australia. Do you know if there is going to be an update on LC200 transmission soon? I am looking at the Sahara model but will hold off if there is going to be an update coming soon. Thanks
I don't know, and doubt it. The car is selling well. Not sure if there will be an update or an LC300.
@@PracticalmotoringAu LC300 is not feasible at all. With Patrol and Discovery being less relevant, LC200 is the only go.
i live in los angeles.. here there's more cars then people. but I haven't seen i landcruiser in years
california people are city/beach people, snob antigun, anti wilderness pussies
tacuazinful because the landposer is for dorks that dont explore the backcountry in a real 4x4 lmao!
jeep thing
that landposer has been beating the crap out of any jeep ever made, good looking suv, but lame reliability. "To get in the jungle drive a Jeep, to get out of it drive a Toyota"
Not many of them in the U.S. But they're everywhere in Australia, South America, Middle East, Russia...And most places get the 70 series too, not just the 100/200. Toyota owns the SUV market nearly everywhere but the US, especially places with rough roads/terrains. People that spend 80k on an SUV in the US usually don't go offroading, so they buy stuff like the Escalade or GX.
Imagine having proper A/T tires in all of these scenarios
i have got a same car but there is no way in hell i am driving my car through these roads. Outstanding video though.
Love the diesel sound.
صديقي سيارة فعالة بدون تجميل 😎
Just wondering why till now j200 doesnt have any factory rear/front locker. While JK rubicon or Gclass both has it.
Random question: how do you get accent LED lights to run without having daytime running lights on?
Great vehicle. I would love one
Nice . . .consider an OMD-EM1 mark 2 - best video stabilisation in the business - makes for easier, smoother shooting without a gimbal.
Mick D jfhf
I think you better use MT tires for such offroad
What sort of degrees of angle is the maximum safety range for the land cruiser? Looks like it would take quite a bit of practice to take full advantage of the camera system. Ive not had personal experience of using them but it makes me think of how looking through a pair of sunglasses changes your perception of depth and contours if you look at the ground.
awesome you guys make some great reviews.
I think this years model has better articulation than my 08 year.
I love the car 😍❤️❤️❤️
Great true offloading & informative unlike so many..
Cant wait to get one of these in 10 years or so when they get cheap
1:40 why do people do that? Cut just enough of the tree for a narrow passage? How hard could it have been to cut the tree and remove that portion covering the whole travel portion of the road?
Jesus Christ what camera are you using. The level of details is staggering.
would like to see how it does with a decent / upgraded tires
do you like toyota land cruiser only?
Очень солидный автомобиль и надежный
It's not fair that we don't get the diesels in the USA
I wish i could afford one but unfortunately the taxes and everything in my country are too high and this car is also expensive
I assume you have relocated the spare onto the rear and also done a lift and changed your tyres now to keep the vehicle in a cleaner conditioner? Nice review! I am looking at upgrading my 100 series but in all honestly have been offloading for 20 years and don't really want the CRAWL features - it sounds awful. Can I drive it in low range like the 'good old days' - i.e. without CRAWL modes engaged?
Yes, can drive in low range without crawl.
