True. He is fully aware of every single mistake he ever made that prevented him from becoming a greater player and he's sharing everything without restraint. The great majority of athletes who blew they own career are nowhere to be seen talking about it to others and some if those who do tend blame others for their demise but not Johnny.
"Be selfless" every young man and woman can learn from that. No matter the generation. Most don't understand humbleness, understanding, and a real, true feeling of making a big difference in someone's life for the sake of THEM and not your own self-satisfaction. That stuff is priceless.

Gotta give credit to TAMU defense. They held the offense to 25 points while other teams were getting busted by the Lacy, Cooper, McCarron crew. TJ Yeldon was also a freshman that year.
I watched that game as an 11 year old kid and I remember going to my youth football game asking the score update everytime I went to the sideline. I was a naive kid and I HATED Johnny Manziel. This is what we all need to hear. NFL teams need to hear this. It happens every year with QB’s losing confidence and then playing terrible on the field. Joe Burrow needs help right now with his confidence. Hope he can stay in the league and recover because he’s going downhill fast.

Johnny has certainly learned a lot from when he was a kid. I’ll give him that. It sounds like he’s making progress as a person. Still a flawed person like the rest of us, but a person nonetheless.
Johnny football got a point. I once played a college baseball game hungover and half drunk and that was the best game I’ve ever played lol. Sweating it out and downing pedialyte. It’s crazy but if done correctly, it works.
Would Johnny Football have been Johnny Football if he had self-restraint? I always wonder what could have been, but I don't think that you can have the extravagance that made him great without the total lack of control.
Every thread, whether vibrant or frayed, is essential in weaving the fabric of who we are. It’s the mix of brilliance and chaos, strength and fragility, that creates a unique tapestry. Without all the threads, there’d be no fabric at all.
