Antoine Dupont is more than a gold medallist, he's nowadays the best rugby player, close to qb/running back. His RP (rugby playing) is electric, a kind of demon between Deion Sanders, Barry (another Sanders no ?) and Jerry Rice for the kindness.
For perspective, the Welsh rugby prodigy Rees-Zammit is now on the JAX practice squad. Dupont genuinely would cake walk the international player pathway to any NFL team. Skill set would seamlessly translate to TE (a double stack with him and Laporte would cause nightmares for defensive coordinators) and even off the edge at OLB/MLB, he would eat.

Dupont 👊 I wouldn't say he is the best rugby player on the planet but he is elite in his position! If anything he could probably teach the Chargers defence how to tackle 🤷♂😂
I still don't understand how rugby players survive a game without pads or helmets. That's a tough sport! I can only imagine how he would feel with all the protections...
And the fact you can't be tackle if you don't have the ball ... In US Football, the fact you can tackle any times makes it unsafe, since your body isn't always prepared for tackle (and the fact you have 300lbs guy who are trained ONLY to be freight train in human form) In Rugby, since you must have the ball to be tackle, you know someone coming for you, and this awareness "prepare" your body to be hurt, and make it safer. Kind of same thing with boxing, the hardest punches are the ones you don't see coming.
He's sooo understated and modest, which is ridiculous considering quite how exceptional he is.
Agreed. Such a humble guy. Very rarely see that in pro footballers
100% right...that's the rugby mindset.....a shame more American NFL guys don't have that mentality (some do) but a lot less than rugby

Dupont the goat of modern Rugny, a human machine
if he was 10 cm taller he'd be a star RB or defensive back. Dupont is pure grit.
BEST PLAYER IN THE WORLD
Antoine is the subject of the French Rugby Federation's investment in rugby sevens.
There was de facto a bet on the player and his ability to play at 7, in the end, it paid off.
Veni, Vedi, Vici, then Antoine returned to 15!!
It's scary how good he is. I love to watch him but not against my team because he gives me heart attacks ha ha ha.
Beautiful
For people not knowing who is Antoine, he's right now the very best rugby player in the world, an absolute cheat code. He just defeated the All Blacks at the top of their game with France two days ago.
If you have a chance , big match saturday for Dupont with Les Bleus playing against the All Blacks..it's always a huge game . If Dupont and France are on their game...Any Rugby connaiseur would tell you , that even more than Football, and France starts playing with the famous " French flair " , they are simply unbeatable...i think the match will be on peacock saturday 2 pm.
Shout out from Ireland in praise of Dupont, a world class athlete and the best in the world of rugby.
Harbaugh has a good spiral pass 😂
He might be the best player to ever play the game of rugby
this guy is so sweet
Dupont 👊 I wouldn't say he is the best rugby player on the planet but he is elite in his position! If anything he could probably teach the Chargers defence how to tackle 🤷♂😂
Antoine will win Olympics again in flag football
Coach Jim's ball skills 😅 😂
This man makes me so proud to be French
He is a natural athlete.
The goat 🐐
Great ambassador to the game
I still don't understand how rugby players survive a game without pads or helmets. That's a tough sport! I can only imagine how he would feel with all the protections...
Proper tackling you don’t get hurt. Football they don’t tackle properly with correct form cause they think they’re safe with the pads.
You have to wrap you arms in the tackle, it’s a lot safer because of that.
@ and head placement.
He would get injured by tackles and hits that are not allowed in rugby.
And the fact you can't be tackle if you don't have the ball ... In US Football, the fact you can tackle any times makes it unsafe, since your body isn't always prepared for tackle (and the fact you have 300lbs guy who are trained ONLY to be freight train in human form)
In Rugby, since you must have the ball to be tackle, you know someone coming for you, and this awareness "prepare" your body to be hurt, and make it safer.
Kind of same thing with boxing, the hardest punches are the ones you don't see coming.
