There's a small percentage of kids that could grasp what he's really saying & even then how could they fully appreciate it. Like Johnny said he didn't know any better. Experience is the best teacher & until you know success and failure can u really reflect on how valuable those failures (opportunities to learn) are. Sorry for being long winded lol but I was pumped when my hometown team drafted him.
@@GODsoN_8471 I hear you and you make valid points. We just have to make them watch such content in addition to going through their own experiences. I think they might learn a thing or two that they might use in future.
Yes it will get millions and millions of views
Facts!!!
No lie, this was a very enjoyable episode. Got a bunch of respect for Johnny Manzel after this. Every college athlete needs to watch this.
He is the most honest pro athlete ever to talk about a career his interviews are always incredible

Wack pivot podcast got the best intro
Wow. An amazing interview. Manziel was 💯 transparent and it's much appreciated to allow us into this world. Well done Unc!
Really appreciate unc not putting 1000 ads on this video to maximize revenue, but instead puts the minimal amount so we can stay immersed to this amazing interview.
I actually thought there was a lot of ads because of his recent popularity channel, are you saying it has been worse with ads since Katt Williams?
Great interview and new Studio .. but whew.. the number of ads. Can’t be mad at Shannon though, I get it…since the Katt Williams interview, ads are hoping on because companies know eye balls are heavily on the Club Shay Shay Channel. Also UA-cam wants to sell Premium to the viewers that prefers No Ads.
He doesn't need the money really. Probably just enjoys it.
@@Leeviiii758 how do you know this?
@@Datruth36 it's an assumption. One of the best NFL players, is intelligent so probably invested most of his money. So he mostly likely sees this as a hobby that makes some cash flow but isn't his main income.
Shannon is not missing with these tell all sit downs man. Watching this I have a newfound astronomical respect for Johnny and I’m happy that he’s turned his life around and found the light. I got chills listening to his story and football stories and I’m just like wow he could write a book with this. Phenomenal job for both guys.
Wow, this interview was incredible. You can truly see that johnny is growing as a man, and this interview tells his story better than the documentary.
Yeah it does in some ways for sure.
Mad respect for Johnny Manziel!! Owning it all. That’s how you man up!! These are the best interviews! Thank you for giving us this platform
wow... this MIGHT be the best interview you've ever conducted Unc... Well done, and well done JM OPENING up.
Watched 2 hours of JM, never in my wildest dreams...amazingly insightful interview
Congratulations to Club Shay Shay on another great interview! Keep the hits coming! Best of luck to Johnny Football 🏈 in his future endeavors!! 🙏🏽
This was an amazing interview…raw, reflective, and accountable. Love to see this Johnny
Skips gotta be livid with Shannon interviewing Johnny Manziel 😂
This is Skip's wett dream turnt nightmare. But Shannon earned this and treated it how it Needs too. With Skip he would further prolong the big shot agenda and put this kid in a further whole
@@lightsoutdsohe's a grown man, not a kid...stop making excuses for johnny.

He's probably crying right now😂
This probably won’t be the most viewed. But this is far and away the best interview I’ve seen on Club Shay Shay. I hope Johnny stays on the right track. Hope this interview is a cautionary tale for someone and helps them not to make some of the mistakes Johnny made.
That was one of the most candid sports interviews I ever seen good job, Shannon, you did it again!!
I agree!
That was the best interview I've seen on this channel. Thank you so much for great questions and honest answers. Much respect to these men!!
What about the Kat Williams' interview as well?
@@masksofanimmigrant7777 I'm partial to the JM podcast being a Texas guy.
I ain’t gonna lie… this was a very interesting and informative interview. Good job Shay Shay 🙌🏾💪🏽
Excellent interview. You’ve create an atmosphere where your guest feel so free and safe to be vulnerable and real. Hoping for all the success and happiness for Johnny.
Man, this Manziel interview is on fire!

This was a great interview. A lot of the youth need to see this one. So much free game and wisdom from experience.
Much respect to Shannon, this is how you maximize your platform. Keep making a positive impact!
One of my favorite college football players. Coach Prime described Johnny perfectly. "He's Got Ghetto Tendencies!" Love what Johnny said about Coach Prime at 37:18 😂🏈🔥
Lmfaoooo so
Accurate
This is a phenomenal interview. Cool to hear Johnny Manziel open up like this

It was good seeing my fellow Aggie getting the interview he deserves. Gig’em 👍🏾
Johnny is giving everybody their flowers man. I love it.
He’s a good dude it seems
For real. The love & respect he showed teammates, coaches & ppl that were there for him is awesome
What a great conversation. Loved this one Unc. I wasn’t even a fan of his before this but once I started it, I couldn’t stop.
Club Shay Shay and The Pivot Podcast are the only platforms that really bring the raw, unfiltered, vulnerability out of their guests. Salute to Unc….he is showing the world that most people just need someone to talk to
“It is what it is” does too
Pivot isn’t in the same category. Pivot is an imitation of I Am Athlete.

Gotta give it up to Shannon Sharpe. I went to tune into a specific clip i saw of this interview and ended up watching it all the way through - Easily one of the best sports podcasts I’ve ever seen. Manziel is extremely likeable and has a level of accountability for his actions and mistakes that is commendable. One thing to remember is that as a country - America loves to tear icons down but loves to see them comeback even more. Great interview.
Shannon’s work on UA-cam is good.
Hands down this is his best episode to date. How do you keep topping yourself UNC?!!!
@@dennwilliams3342I agree. This is a great one right here.
Outstanding interview. I wasn't planning on watching the whole discussion. However, i could not stop listening. Absolutely Great conversation.
Same here. I was originally just gonna put it on for the drive to work. Couldn't wait to get in the building to finish it.
Same here!!!!!
Huge respect for the honesty and accountability this man is showing. The way he was able to recover and heal from everything he’s been through is to be commended. Hope he can fully save his soul. God bless him and his family
I appreciate hearing this my guy you’re on your way life comes a different formats for everyone. You only make the most of what you’re giving. God bless.
A great interview!! I love this platform because it allows the guest to completely convey they thoughts without interruption.
It’s good to see this conversation. Johnny’s answers seem genuine and he doesn’t look stressed. He doesn’t have to hide anything anymore.
Shannon you’ve been killing it lately, I’ve been supporting you for years and I’m glad people are giving you your flowers now. Great content as always🔥
Thanks, bro.
You know what it is.
Houston Tx checking in, this was an very good interview it changed my whole view on Johnny Manziel I understand totally what happened with him all these years, he was very open and genuine about his mistakes and did not blame anyone or made any excuses about it all
Have so much respect for Johnny M for being transparent, genuine and honest! Happy to see him healthy and happy . Probably your best interview Unc, great work.
Johnny’s growth and perspective on life is truly great to see. Awesome interview.
I loved Johnny testimony of his life raw and uncut, and I hope this helps someone else who might have struggled like him...❤❤❤
One of the best interviews I’ve seen cheers to Shannon and Johnny
Shoutout to Shannon for giving Johnny the space to say what he had to say and letting this man talk us through his journey. I didn't know anything about anything about Johnny Manziel, but I understood every word that came out of his mouth because I grew up in Texas and football is life. This interview should be required material for anyone in athletics. It's another great interview in the books!
This was awesome. I really enjoyed this conversation. Best wishes to your Johnny Manziel. Much resect. Great job Shay Shay.
Wasnt expecting a excellent interview but I sho nuff just watched one ‼️.... amazing job by both of these men 💯🙌🏿
What a treat to hear his story. Your interview is so well done. I love this interpretation of him and the topics and his view was so eye opening. Love this format. Watched it all!
