Making Johnny feel comfortable and not confronted by “gotcha” questions allowed us to hear the struggle we are now learning from. This type of interview leads to not only the betterment of Johnny, but also those that watch it. Accountability will always be a struggle with ego, but that doesn’t mean you can’t overcome. This was awesome and I wish nothing but the best for Johnny and Shay.

Man this is why so many players loved and appreciated Josh McCown. To go to the DC after Manziel told him what he said to show support to Johnny and call the DC out for the BS he said to a young player, even with the demons Johnny was facing, shows he views his teammates as people and not just players. Such Character! You dont have to be a hall of famer or superbowl winner to be a true champion in life. And McCown is an example of that.

Exactly! And I did like Skip at one point. After he disrespected Unc, that respect diminished drastically.

its hard to turn down that corporate money. look at all the people ESPN laid off last year, they went from making millions to nothing. Shannon really beat the odds.

Even though JM"s personal story is his own, the story shows that with maturity and the will to move forward, one can beat the odds and come out on the other side better.

U know my son was pretty good @ 🏈 and 🏀 when he was younger. NO JOHNNY 🏈, but good enough 2 literally show up, score multiple touchdowns or a good amount of points. But I told him he wasn’t “in love” with these sports. He’s just talented. He swore up n down he was in love with them but as his father I knew he wasn’t. Eventhough Johnny was IMMENSELY talented, I’m sure his father knew his sons ♥️. I know I did.

Johnny is the man. It's too bad he just wasn't cut out the big leagues. Doesn't change the fact he was the goat in college, while living his best life, and doing it with style💯
