Tim that is an awesome video of the thumper in action. We thumped Texoma this weekend and started off with 1-2 marks and were able to create a school of Striper! It was awesome as well!
yes, yes, and yes. I look for them at reiver channel bends into a point or hump and check the ledges on those areas. You got the right idea. As you saw in the video, we found them all day, but had trouble with getting aggressive ones. Moved 6 times to find the aggressive ones and could have slayed them all day long, but had to get back to Austin.
@@dannymalone4073 yes that's correct. The higher end models have the "helm" feature allowing you to broadcast onto your phone or tablet screen. Mine is not the high end model.
Lots of fun, Tim!
That's the best part, the fun and laughters!

@@stevenatherton84 You're fun to fish with. Thanks for your 4 fish you contributed :)
Very nice video! Wow!
Thanks Dan. Are you thumping this time of year? Tim
@@skunkedagain not yet I been busy and been on the water a few times. Hopefully more and more soon.
Awesome!! Did you find them on a hump, ledge or in the river channel?

@@skunkedagain I would definitely move 6 times to catch 100 fish. Great day on the water!!
Man o man if you only had Active Captain there would be no glare.
Yep, the extra $1000 is a little more useful at Universities the kids go to....
@@skunkedagain I thought Active Captain is a free app from Garmin to down load to your phone????

Now-if we can only get it to work on Crappie!
I'm gonna perfect it for Crappie. I'll design an experiment to tune them in. Tim
You still have to find the fish thumping alone will not bring the fish to you!
that's right, thumping in the right areas is the key. My other videos show you how to do that. Check them out.
