Good video. Something to think about and not that big of a deal now, but when hot is when it matters. I am not positive that putting the graph in sleep mode stops the sonar. I never do that so I am not sure, but I do know if you hit the power button and chose the option "Disable All Sonar" it stops the black box and the sonar from working. If it is working when on the deck of your boat it will over heat, especially in the summer. The "Disable All Sonar" is an awesome function that I use every time I move.
Thank you! I don’t think it does either but for whatever odd reason with that unit specifically that transducer has to be down before you wake it up or you are in the hurt box. Yeah summer can def. Get them things super hot and possibly damage them. Definitely something to keep in mind. I will check out the feature! Thanks for the support Chris!! We need to link up soon sir!!
Disable All Sonar - is not disabling the black box. I've check this in the battery app, which is show me real time consumption.
@@Dangle_Nation Link/info for that arm you have the transducer mounted to?
Take it off your boat, toss it in the deepest part of the lake. Lesson over.
You guys are doing it right… Congratulations… Keep up the fine work!
Is there anyway you can do a detail look on your life scope mounting brackets, pole, extension arm etc.
Ty
Appreciate you and the support!! Absolutely!! Keep an eye out next week and I will have it up for ya boss!
To turret or not to turret and put live scope on motor. I fish for bass mostly, but I definitely will use spot lock when I find a spot. But spot lock takes away usefulness of livescope. Anyone have a good workaround with livescope mounted on trolling motor? Looking to upgrade electronics soon is why I ask.
My personal opinion is not to turret. Simply because of the style of fishing we do. With spot locks radius (the natural drift) and the desire to stay locked in I prefer being able to stay on the pile. However I can see how in bass fishing it being on the turret would help. You can ID an LMB and cast to it then scan around or focus on whatever technique you are fishing. That and turrets are to slow for me, I like to snap around Its a tough question to say the least lol
My hardest issue with my 34 is fishing bridge pillars. When I face it towards the pillars, I can turn my transducer either left or right around 4ft from center of that pillar and it will show the pillar still and the rotation view .
Another issue is I can see a fish that image's behind that pillar looking at the screen .
These pillars are very hard to learn on reading fish position.
Do I have a setting that needs adjusted maybe? I run the 1222 monitor with Lvs34.
This is a very common issue that I see. And I will 100% make a video on this exact thing soon for you. In the mean time, think of livescope as a flashlight shining at an object. If it helps take a flashlight and shine it at your kitchen table legs. Wherever the light hits is what you see on the screen. As far as seeing the fish they are beside the pillar but come across as behind as the scope is taking a 3D image and making it 2D on the screen. Let me know if that doesnt make sense. I will tag you when I drop this video for you bub!
@Dangle_Nation I understand what your saying with the flashlight showing a image.
Its like you mentioned, A 3D image of rotation giving a different view to the 2D screen from left to right.
I've tried researching this and I haven't seen nothing and no videos showing this as well, you'll be the first showing and describing the situation on the LVS34 rotation view on bridge pillars.
The best live scope video I've seen. Thank you.
Appreciate that!! Thanks for the support!
What side is your transducher on the pole, starboard or port.
Its on the starboard side 😁🛥️
Just strted looking for info on Live scopes and you by far have the best INFORMATIVE video. Thank you
I sure like those Outlaw Crappie Poles. Where did you get them????? lol
Shooot! This guy I know!! 😂😂 thanks again!! I love them!!
Love outlaw crappie poles I've got 4 of them tough as nails
I wish I would of seen this video right when I got my livescope setup, it would of saved me about 3 months of trial and error, new livescopers should pay close attention to this video and these guys will save you lots of trial and error on the water. Listen very careful. Like I said I wish I would have watched this video while I was learning, it would have really helped.😊
Danny I appreciate the kind words! Hopefully I can shed some light on new users as you stated. There is certainly a learning curve!
Great video, learn alot
How much is your live? Scope set up
I bought my stuff used. The head unit I gave 1200 for, the blackbox and transducer was I believe 800, and my pole is home made. Again I got it all from Facebook Marketplace.
We are looking into getting LS but first we are looking at these type of videos. This one is my favorite one so far. Very detailed and easy to understand.
Glad it was helpful! It can be a touch confusing at first but you will get it quick!! Once you do, its game on!!
@@Dangle_Nation I looked up your equipment and was wondering is this the 126sv ultra 1 or 126vs ultra 2?
So in this video we were on my pops boat which is the 126SV ultra 1. In some of the other videos you will see us on my boat (the center console) and on mine I have the GPS map 1022.
I would STRONGLY recommend the 126SV any day of the week lol. The clarity is unmatched.
@@Dangle_Nationwe will definitely get the 126sv.
Fishing isin’t a computer game Bubba. Using Livescope to find fish is a like shooting fish in a barrel. You can put that Livescope where the sun don’t shine Ms. Outdoorsman.
Maybe. Maybe not. Clearly hit a nerve with you Ms. Commentor lol its just a video dont take it so hard 😂🤘🏻
Thanks for the video, very helpful. Do you have a link for your transducer mount? Looks interesting.
George I just saw this! My apologies! It is made by seelite! Its the SeeFish transducer mount 2.0!
What transducer pole is used in this video?
That is the seelite 2.0 😁 if you google that it will pop up for ya! Hope this helps!
@@Dangle_Nation Thanks for the reply.
Great video.. Does it show river bottom holes/ changes well? I’m thinking of building a self contained unit that I could use in my river boat… Back trolling.
Thank you!! It can if you play with the settings. Look into the self contained ice fishing housings they have for the scope. A lot of folks run em down here on the rivers. I am actually looking into them myself for the same reason. Lake Fork Guy also just dropped a video about em as well!
Daniel Arms suggested you and your channel, from the video of him ,Houston and you on the lake. Looking forward to seeing more of your content
Thanks for coming by!! I certainly appreciate it and am glad to have you!
Very good video. Just subscribed. Thanks…
Thank you!! And thanks for the sub!
Just got a boat with garmin live scope. You by far have the best informative video out. THANK YOU
Glad it was helpful! Thank you for the kind words!!
I’m thinking it’s like ice fishing when you’re staring down the hole at a bunch of huge perch and they won’t touch anything you put in front of them. Still be better than not having it.
Amen!! Lol 😂
great content but iam old school i fish from the bank, i have a 18 3/4'' crappie on my wall from a farm pond
Thank you!! And maaan I love me some bank fishing too!!! Dont worry hit that subscribe button cuz there will be bank fishing vids coming soon! Thats a WHOPPER!! 18 3/4” wow!!
Great video my question is when a fish like a white bass leave the screen can you tell if they are going left or right or even under the boat? Good job 👍🏻
Thank you! And yes absolutely! So as the fish leave if they are going away from your boat they will be traveling to the right on the screen. If they are approaching you or going behind you they will be going to the left on the screen. The screen also shows 5 feet BEHIND the transducer in most cases. In this instance as the fish go behind the boat the will appear in this 5 ft area. BEHIND the zero on the screen.
Best vid yet. I’m looking to buy one for my kayak. Ton of dough, I hope it’s worth it.
You will love it!! Let me know how it goes!!
Had it for a year im pretty decent with it but my biggest problem is chasing open water fish ive just not did it enough but i still say i suck at i it lol ..good one man👍 by the way i love outlaw crappie poles ive got 4 lol
Yeah open water fish can certainly be tougher to identify on it. Im sure you dont suck haha it just takes time! You got it dont worry! Outlaws are awesome!! Was super glad to join their team! Thanks for the support!
What brand/type mount do you run your LVS34 on? It is the best I have seen.
The mount is made by Seelite. If you google their name its one of the first ones to pop up. We love it!
One the better videos for beginners because it addresses the fact that you are looking on the screen at a left to right orientation, but in reality, you're looking forward of the boat. Question, how wide is the cone in feet?
Thank you!!! The range you can adjust from 5 out to like 150-200 ft.
Do you have a weight above your jig? Thanks for the awesome video!
I do yes! It is a #7 split shot. Thanks for checking it out!
What brand mount are you using. For both the Garmin a transducer? Great video
Thanks for the support! The head unit uses the “stowaway fish finder mount” and the transducer uses a pole made by seelite. Both are great products. I have a video that specifically covers them named “ Garmin Livescope setup” if you want to see more on them. Appreciate you!
I’m looking at buying one can u send me the stuff ur using
Absolutely!! The graphs are on a stowaway pole. The “fish finder mount XL” the transducer is on the “Seelite Transducer mount 2.0” the head unit is a 126SV and its showing the LVS34 head through the GLS10 black box. Hope this helps!!
What kind of pole is your tranducer mounted on?
Its the SeeFish Transducer Mount 2.0 🤘🏻
What brand transducer mount you using and where did you get it?
That is the “SeeFish Transducer Mount 2.0” made by seelite. I got it from their website about 3 years ago.
Good instruction
Great video guys new subscriber

Awesome video thanks
Thanks for the support!
Great video!
Thanks! Appreciate you!
How do you put your fish finder in sleep mode
Super easy, just push the power button one time (dont hold it down) and then the option screen comes up. Then just roll down and hit “sleep device”. Hope that helps bud!
@@Dangle_Nation Thank You

Hello there from a bass fisherman here in Brazil. What is the name/model of the downward pole you mounted the LVS on the boat in this video? tks

Love it, catch and "RELEASE". I wish everyone would do the same.
