Thats a nola mother right there 110%. Reminds me of my grandma on daddys side for sure 😂. Only difference for us is we use tomato and smoked turkey necks. Good eatin either way.
Mama said you didn't listen. You mother is very pretty. I know pressure cookers are a lot different than what they used to be, but I'm afraid of them. 😜
Hey Chef, your last name, is your family from Crowley La.? Thank we maybe related. So glad to see receipt hope to hear from you if we are, don't E-mail,G-mail, and any of those either ones just Texts😃😃. I would love to have that smothered Okra receipt again. Harriet
Nice Job Chef. B. T. W., no offense, but it’s my first time learning of a man of color with the last name of Boudreaux. Lol. My brother in law is a Boudreaux, and I have many friends with that same name, it’s extremely common here in Louisiana, as I’m sure you well know. Happy Cooking my Brother and Best Wishes to your lovely Mama.

You never heard of a black american man from South Louisiana with last name Boudreaux? Seriously??
Surprised you didn’t put like 2 tbps of tomato paste in it.
Very few people are aware that they should dry the slime out of the okra in the oven, works well every time.
