Im proud of P2 for choosing piston hurricane. He's probably the closest enemy to "fair" as possible. Ultra move super predictable and leaves you open. Strong normals, but significant tell for counter play by P1.

Well, the game IS predicated on learning everyone’s patterns and the best time to hit them during it. Makes sense that a human, who has no patterns, would make that near impossible

It makes sense. Well, it's a dev mode. Allowed the devs to access any fight, and to test frames themselves. Also, you can access the credit sequence from the screen (I've seen people access it, don't know how myself), so it was just a total test mode. Instead of playing through the game to test the fighters, just access the screen and get to any fight, and if you need to test how a fighter is in a new build, just pick up the second controller.
