    Thanks for this. I'm 53, stopped smoking. A keen cyclist and ex pro dancer I was looking for something more exciting than the usual workouts. I'm into this. Wait till my grand kids see me parkour hardcore style. Hihihi!

      precision jumps are a great place to start. Parkour is 80% basic drill draining, 15% mental fortitude and 5% actual flashy looking type stuff. At least that's the ratio of people that are really good.

    Hey ronnie I got here early, and I just thought I'd say I really appreciate your videos and was wondering about something quick. What are the exercises for starting a muscle up? Also, the kip up is really hard to do, any extra tips?

    • @connorcow7894
      @connorcow7894 5 років тому +6

      How I recommend: (btw it takes time and effort, 10-15 minutes a day ever second day or so should so it.)
      1. Get good pull ups by doing reps and just spending time on bars, try and get to the point were you can do 10 in a row.
      2. Try and attempt one until you can get your arms to rotate up.
      3. If unable to push up from there work on dips on the edge of a table or something while still working on pull ups
      4. I learnt how to do bad muscle ups before bar kips cause I couldn't get the kipping technique correct with out first relying on just strength.

    • @CrystalKeeper7
      @CrystalKeeper7 5 років тому +1

      @@connorcow7894 Ok, So I'm not quite there yet, I can only do 7 in a row. I am also trying to do a sorta muscle up by wall climbing. I can also get my arms onto the bar so my armpits are on the bar, but I can't get anywhere from there. It will probably just take practice :)

    • @connorcow7894
      @connorcow7894 5 років тому

      @@CrystalKeeper7 Well that's not that bad actually, just keep at it tho, the main point being that your chin up is fast and powerful to help get your arms up.

    • @timbob101

      I know this is a noob question, but do you do pull ups overhand or underhand?

    • @josmoov1323
      @josmoov1323 5 років тому

      Arron huss parkour it takes confidence, try Macao or backhand spring, try a backflip on a trampoline or a jump house, if you those aren’t available to you try practicing on your matress, how I got over the fear is trying to get my hands to stop hitting the ground by tucking, also what helped me is doing a macaco and tucking with one leg it will help you get used to tucking, you could also do backrolls if you have access to a trampoline try jumping and bounce off your back and flip backwards when you first backflip on a mattress your abs will start hurting this is good though because your pulling your knees to your chest, also you could jump and fall on your back on a mattress, this will show you it won’t hurt to fall on, this will help you get over the fear, if you could do a bridge stretch you can try to kick your legs backwards to help you flip over and rotate. Good luck let me know how it goes😁
