As just another faceless viewer with a keyboard my advice may not mean very much to you. But I still must write what must be written. Do not waste your entire life in the country of your birth.
Hey Ik it’s been 8 years and you must be old as a boot but do you know ways I can study abroad Japan or china? I just graduated hs 2 months ago
I'm from Denmark studying in USA right now for 10 months. I'm so inspired by your channel for my own vlogs, I wish I could live of traveling and youtube - that is my biggest dream!
Keep it up! If you truly want something than never give up :)
Thank you so much! I've been flirting with studying abroad for the last year and a half and have become increasingly attracted to the idea, and this video came, to me personally, at a perfect time. I live in Russia and I'm most likely going to study in Canada, after you guys pretty much addressed all of my concerns, all I have to do now is pick a University and look into applying. Again, thanks guys!
RonMD awesome!! Thanks for watching, commenting and subscribing! Good luck with your applications!
***** Hi! I'm certain Canada's absolutely amazing, and I really wish I'll have the option of coming and hopefully staying, but I'll take one step at a time for now :)
***** I adore nature :) I grew up in the midwestern part of Russia which is absolutely brimming with gorgeous scenery, that's actually my favorite part of it. I'll most likely study in Ontario, specifically Ottawa.
***** Haha that's awesome, I'll definetly keep your offer in mind :)
I imagine Ottawa must be freakin' beautiful in the summer, and yeah Russia is a very cultural place, extremely different from Canada/The US.
RonMD Make sure you check out our video from Ottawa before you go - lots of good tips on what makes it such a cool city! We're also in Canada right now... Saskatoon, then over to Alberta for 2 weeks. More Canada content coming soon!
I am studying abroad in Cambodia and Vietnam next spring, and I am beyond excited!! I am definitely fortunate to go to the University of San Diego, which has one of the highest rates of study abroad, but like you guys said most of my friends are going to places like the UK, Ireland, Spain, and Italy, and while I do really want to travel to Europe some day, I think having the opportunity to visit Asia is going to be so unique and incredible. I can't wait to study the environment and learn about the culture there. Thanks for all the great tips and motivation!
Nice! We live close to USD, that's a nice campus! Enjoy your study abroad and thanks for watching and commenting Angela!
Omg!! Im so excited that you put this video up. I really want to study abroad and my first trip got canceled. So, sadly, I could not go. I plan to study abroad my last semester as a student teacher and there are not a lot of Early Childhood Education study abroad opportunities that i can even find. So I will probably have to make my own program. I will try to go to Spanish speaking country like Ecuador and I am practicing my Spanish now. I am also an African American girl trying to study abroad (Props for being a minority). I love your videos and I just found them but I have already watched so many. Keep traveling and being AWESOME!!!
Thanks for watching commenting and subscribing! Also big thanks for sharing your story! :)
I'm from Australia and I studied abroad in Swansea Wales last year for a semester. Best thing I've ever done in my life so far, lived with fellow exchange people from France, USA and another Aussie. Travelling around the UK and Europe, best experience as it taught me more about myself, new cultures, history and to be independent.
This is so great because I am looking into studying abroad and want to get as much info as possible! Thank you for this!
Awesome! Thanks so much for watching and hoping you enjoy yourself!
My entire childhood (once I found out you could study abroad) I wanted to study in Greece. When it finally came time their economy had really fallen apart and we were told it wasn't really "safe" to study there and there was no program being offered to me any longer. I was crushed but decided on studying in Florence instead because I could go to the University of the Arts, and be in Tuscany. The only 'bad' thing about that university was that it was an all study abroad school so we werent really with any Italians our age. I would recommend going to a school with locals, but I didn't have much of a choice myself.
My semester in florence was amazing. I learned to moderately understand the locals, and interact for simple things, though my maintenance man Adrian and I really only communicated in gestures and uncertain facial expressions :) And by the end I made two of the best frinds I have ever had there, and I would give anything to go back and visit, but first I need to see America!
Awesome! Thanks for sharing your story!
I'm so glad Nadine brought me to your channel. I will definitely study abroad. South America is calling.
I was 11 at the time you wrote this I hope you’re alive and doing alright
I'm from Australia & I plan to study abroad in Canada for a year, next year and then work/travel afterwards for around 6 months. These videos were just what I needed! Thanks :)
Thank you so much for making this video, it helped me a lot and I found a few websites which I can use to help me continue researching and figuring out how this all works. I have always wanted to travel and study/work abroad but I always thought it was super expensive etc. This video really helped clarify that it can be done rather easily and that it can be even cheaper going to university in Europe than it is here in Canada!
Awesome! So glad the video helped! Good luck in your studies!
vagabrothers Thank you! I just have to decide where to go! :P
Thanks so much for making this! I'm planning to study abroad once I go to college, so this was a big help!
NotMyBrault you're very welcome! Thanks for watching and commenting!
This is great! I personally studied abroad twice during my university years! I did England and Hong Kong and it was the best experiences of my life! Everyone should go study abroad if they can and experience it themselves. Get out of your comfort zone and just do it! If there's a will there's always a way.
HaosTwenties sounds great!!! We totally agree! Get out there and study abroad!
I picked Amsterdam, one year, I'm increibly excited :D
adriana lh great! Amsterdam has such a great quality of life and vibe! You will love it, check our video from Amsterdam for some more travel stoke! Cheers!
Studying Abroad Opens doors to unlimited number of opportunities to students all around the globe. Thank your for a nice video guys. This surely will be helpful to students who are looking to study abroad.
the link of the blog is not working ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhgggggggggggggggggg i really need information
I really like your advices guys !! keep up with this wonderful work !!
Love you and peace !
I wanna roll up in the Japanese classroom and be like "名 は エイダン です"
I'm planning on moving to Germany next year to go to school! So hype!
yay come visit me in Cologne! (as long as I'm back there by then haha)
Why would you study in the US in the first place? Besides from local knowledge such as law degrees it does not make much sense paying fees and tuition if you could avoid it.
I suspect the language barrier is a point here, because many people do not know that you can study in some European countries in English, such as Germany or Sweden.
Even better, US companies do not know anything about specific universities in Europe. So that is a plus if you would otherwise just be able to pay for some of the least expensive ones in the US.
really exited but still not finished school
and nice video
thanks !!
I'm an American who studied abroad in Thailand and it was the highlight of my 21 years of life. Didn't know one word of Thai but it's easy to pick up.
peacetea1001 Wow! Thailand sounds like a great place to study abroad! Thanks for watching and commenting!
***** Honestly speaking I wouldn't change one thing. Thailand is one of the most amazing and beautiful countries Ive ever been to. The Thai people were one of my main reasons why I loved it so much. Every living soul there were extremely nice and generous. I can go on about why Thailand was amazing but I'll spare you lol I had the best experience of my 21 years of living. If you choose thailand my one advice: be open-minded and FULLY immerse yourself into their culture or don't go at all. If you want to hear more let me know!
***** I was there for four months and lived in the university housing with other international kids and native thai kids as well who showed us the ropes to everything and taught us alot. My most memorable is hard to pick just one but one time i lost my credit card which was the only way i could pay for things. An extremely kind thai lady I met for five minutes gave me $20 US dollars equivalent thai money to be able to take the metro to solve my financial problem with a bank and also feed myself for two days i was without money. She was an angel sent from heaven. I would have owed my hostel money, missed my flight back to america, and starved if it wasn't for her. Truly inspiring
***** I plan on visiting again this winter or next year. basically ASAP. idk if i would visit in the summer because it would be rainy season there and the weather is not ideal. Winter is best
Thank you so much for your help, can you do an extended video on obtaining your whole degree abroad and the specific majors that are offered? I've been wanting to study medicine abroad for a while but have so many questions. Love your videos!
After studying abroad in Latin America ( Brasil) , Europe seems so boring . Brasilian people where so amazing and the beauty of places , I can't even describe it . Really recommend it , would give anything to go back there !
they are!
+margarita pavlova did you learn how to speak Portuguese?
TheTokyo1 Yes , very well actually . It is such a beautiful language.
margarita pavlova wow that's awesome. yes it's a romance language like Spanish, Italian, French, and Romanian. I know a little Portuguese but I do speak Spanish and some French as well. I'm planning on going to Spain to study abroad and after that I would love to go down south to Brasil. did you also find a job out there while you were studying abroad out in brasil?
How did you afford it?
Excited to go over to your blog and read about financing for travel abroad. I've applied twice for Gilman scholarship and have not been able to win any awards, so I'm very interested in looking for other avenues of financing. I really want to study in France but am open to going to India or the Middle East.
Cool! Thanks for watching and commenting :)
I feel like the music might be a bit too loud, but awesome video :)
I havent studied abroad but have worked 2 years in New Zealand through my education and im from a non english speaking country and would say do it if you can gooo you'll meet friends and have tons of fun no worries ;)
and in denmark education is free might be a little fee for international students but nothing compared to what US puts on the fees for international students! And almost everybody speak pretty good english :)
I think studying abroad is like adventure. I wanna studying abroad and have some trouble. It's give us some console and a little bit strength to do survive.
Now I am looking even more forward to my exchange year that is gonna start in 17 days :)
Leaving for Finland in 5 weeks for the fall semester!
Enjoyed the information guys. I wish I had studied abroad maybe I would have finished school.
Dave

The link for studying abroad / scholarship isn't working and I couldn't find it on the website as well. Can you guys pleaseee make a video on it ?
can you start at a later age going to college and then just do the rest overseas or can you do all of it abroad? just curious because I have been working for a few years after high school and was wondering if I could start studying now and go abroad?
Sean Learmond lol into it yourself. That's my best asvice
I clicked the link to the blog post, but it keeps saying "page not found"
Amazing vid!!!
Thing is. International students have to pay international rates. It's not entirely free. (From England, if i wanted to study in Germany/France I'd have to pay international rates)
P.s. if your studying there for the whole degree

where can we study abroad and just for a month probably. like a summer school or during winter. and also something which is not really expensive.
There are language schools (private) that offer such courses but probably best to check with your university :)
hey guys i can't find the blogpost for this video
As a 18 year old guy looking for a place in Europe to study for a 2 weeks. What, in your opinion, is the best place with a lot of other students without being super expensive to go to ??
Thank you.
Bruno Rehder Dublin Ireland
Where is the blog post to look at?
Can you guys share some study abroad programs where I can study and work for like a semester in Spain? I would really like to study abroad either this fall or next year.
Hey.Guys .I don’t know why the link doesn’t work ????!!!Did you noticed that???????
I am doing my whole four years abroad through NYU Abu Dhabi. Does that count? Hahaha thanks for the tips :)
Is it true that you have to be fluent in german to be able to study there for free? I would really like to study over there, and although the idea of learning a new language does not frighten me, I am not fluent in german.
migui8850 hmm good question. Honestly we don't know, but I don't think so, pretty sure they offer full courses in English.
Yeah, I've read both sides of the story. I guess I'll find out! Thanks
migui8850 From what I read before, German schools are pretty much free with maybe an exception of 500 or so euros for initial costs or something which is still very cheap. Also, one thing I do remember is that the language requirement depends on what degree you're trying to study. Some degree programs will be entirely in German, while others may be in English so it depends on the school and their degree programs that you choose. I also considered studying in Germany :P
Sweet, hey thanks for your input!
+migui8850 Most of the universities that I've researched have masters programs in English but undergraduate in German. I'd love to hear advice from anyone who has found low cost undergraduate programs in English. So far I've seen these programs in the Czech Republic and Taiwan. Advice is welcome!
Renew the domain! Link is unavailable

Can you study abroad in High School? Or is it like Foreign Exchange? Is that good too? I kinda wanna ether Study Abroad or do a Foreign Exchange to Singapore. Can you answer this please?? Thank you :)
NSLI-Y is a government funded program that allows high school students to study foreign language abroad for absolutely free, the government funds the students. Students have to choice to study for a mere summer or academic year. Google/Instagram it, it's a great program. I will be traveling to China because of this program next summer.

So how did that mahjong game turn out for you at 3:55? 好了吗?
Funny with a video on how to study abroad that never addresses the how to question. This was more like a where and why to study abroad video.
