Hey Food Box HQ Family! Today we're unboxing and taste testing Factor Meals (previously called "Factor 75").
We've been using Factor ever since they first launched and, to be honest, they've come a long way over the years. Previously, they used to just be for fitness enthusiasts and those following a low carb diet. Today, Factor has rebranded, been purchased by HelloFresh, and expanded their menu.
Factor offers a range of meal plans including Keto, Calorie Smart, Vegan & Veggie, Protein Plus and Chef’s Choice. You can choose to receive as few as 6 or up to 18 meals per week. Each week, their chefs create a new menu of 35 different meals to choose from. You can either go with their pre-selected options (based on your plan and food preferences) or switch them up for other options available that week. Additionally, you can add to your box with smoothies, breakfasts, extra proteins, snacks and sides.
All of Factor's meals are delivered fresh, not frozen, so make sure to refrigerate them promptly for safe keeping.
In my opinion, Factor is a game changer for anyone looking to incorporate healthy eating into their life. They've made huge strides over the years, since we first started using them.
I find it to be easy and time-saving, making it great for grab-and-go situations or as a healthy lunch option for work. I also love the variety - with a changing menu each week. The add-ons are a great bonus, especially for those following strict diets like Keto - you can simply grab and go without having to put much thought into the macros.
Overall, I think Factor is one of the top prepared meal delivery services out there today. Considering Freshly has gone out of business, Factor might be the best value out there.

Beware: I deactivated my account after placing an order. I was never told that I also needed to manually cancel the order. The representative I talked to told me this happens all the time. Why have they not fixed this issue? This is a poor way to run a company.
We used Factor for a few months. It was ok and some of the meal were really good and tasty. Unlike others we tried, Factor added spices and taste. Some meals however were so small you had to add vegetables or something for dinner size. The biggest issue with Factor, and why we stopped, was the cost vs portion size.
Portion sizes for our meals seemed decent. There was 1-2 that were "meh" but, compared to other premade meal delivery services we've tried, Factor's portions were good.
Small-ish portions is an issue with many prepared meal delivery services :/.

You forgot to mention the cost.
Wtf... just ordered from them and a few of those items weren't even an option... maybe when the menu rotates. Specifically the jerky and keto granola... drooling.

Factor has horrible customer service. I used them for almost 6 months and I hate them.
