Tried cooking this tonight in Canada (Vancouver). Found all the ingredients at a local Asian supermarket. Thank you for the great recipe...so easy to follow. My family loves it 😋
Wow, looks yummy Roland, thanks for the recipe. I will try it soon. Last time I cooked chicken potatoes with Oyster sauce aka cantonese stye.. Now got to try your recipe.
Chef, I made your ginger honey chicken and my hubby almost ate the plate...it was soooo good. thank you for sharing your delicious recipes!!! I dont know if I'll try this recipe above, because we dont like heat.
LOL. Almost ate the plate. Wow that’s really a compliment. Thank you so so much. This is not spicy. If you have all the ingredients on hand, then it would be great. If not, you can try another version ua-cam.com/video/pYn9NTJgjw4/v-deo.html

Hi Ronald...tried cooking this recipe. It is really so yummy! But I used boneless chicken thigh instead...still taste yummy! Took a foto of it....thank you for your lovely cooking!
Hello. Great recipes and videos! Thank you. By the way, where can I buy the narrow metal tongs with the little teeth you use to handle food? Thank you again!
Hi Roland, if I boil the potatoes and chicken instead of deep frying them, will the end product be good ? Can I use a rice cooker to cook this dish? Thks very much
Wow, another good dish. Mr. Roland, can add yam to this dish? Every month we have a family gathering, so I have many options to choose from your manual😄, thanks alot.
I don't understand why it was deep fried. Pan fried in shallow oil would have been enough to brown. Especially when it becomes soggy after simmered with lid covered. Big fan of your videos by the way.

Hi can I use black bean garlic sauce instead of fermented bean sauce? Also can I use chicken thigh meat instead or do we need the bones to make it flavourful?

Just add Tomato Sauce on top of it, let it simmer again... then we have Chicken Caldereta... :)

Hi Rolland, When to add in the green vegetable likes long beans, eggplant or lady's fingers? Need to fry the vegetable first? Thanks.
Is there something I can substitute for Chinese cooking wine as the last step ? I want to go alcohol free. Thank you!
Apple cider vinegar, perhaps? I'm very new to cooking, I watch your videos to learn cooking

How many times can u reuse the oil?
Hihi. We usually reuse our oil for about 3 times before we discard it. Happy cooking
Thanks for sharing your video here, am actually like it this dish you making I will try to making it, thanks
Not for children
I would skip the frying stage n just add chicken n tinier cuts of potatoes to save time n let gravy seep into the chicken n potatoes.
Will try to cook this it’s looks very yummy and simple , thanks 👩🍳
This looks so good! Thank you for this recipe.
Thank you so much too, Dot 🙏🙏
I’ll try this tonight ...thank you
Happy cooking, Mary!!
Too much chilli..
What is this spicy broad bean paste? Is it the same as tau Chong?
There’s no way that’s only one kg of chicken. Looks closer to two.
I hate deep frying food at home. So can I pan fry both the potatoes n chicken instead?
anything fried is delicious
