100% spot on. His playing was brilliant. It related to the song and the atmosphere. Not just random shredding. Furthermore, he was humble! Didn’t play the rock star BS!
@@workingmansrevolution Exactly. Ozzy snatched him up, so Randy wrote music that best fit the vibe of Sabbaths ex front man. Those albums are brilliant from start to finish.
First time hearing you guys and it was awesome! Love all 3 of the guitarists discussed and can relate to both of you. I was 12 years old and had just started playing when Blizzard of Oz came out back in the day. Randy will always be my #1 guitarist, but Jake and Zakk are also up there (along with Ed of Course). Love your vibe and are now a subscriber. I will go back and watch some of your earlier episodes. Thank you!
Awesome!!! Thank you for checking us out. Aside from our interview with Jack Osbourne, this was our first video podcast. The others are audio only. We hope you enjoy!! 🦇
Great show guys! I actually hung out with Jake at Eddie Trunks 40th anniversary in radio party in Vegas in Dec. I met him 6 or 7 times over the years and its always a thrill. I actually brought him down to our table and he was hanging with us for a bit. You mentioned that the US Fest was Jakes first concert with Ozzy. It was his first concert in the US but I believe he did a tour of Europe right after Brad left which was before the US Fest. I would have had a real hard time narrowing my list down to 10. I think you should do another episode with 10 more. ;-)
Awesome! Good call on the European tour. That is probably correct. Jake is a monster!!! I got to hang with him once also. Such a down to earth dude. The k you for listening! Keeping touch. 🦇
Love both your lists!! For me it’s Randy. He is just it! And can’t get enough. What are your thoughts on Diary of a Madman solo? It just blows me away. Love to watch you two as you are just as dedicated as I am! Keep up the good work ❤️
Somehow, I forgot to set up for notifications for everything you do so hope you both can forgive. It will be forever Randy for me. When I heard the solos on Tribute as well as his solo on Tribute, i was changed. I'm a drummer so Tommy was also why i listened, but I love Randy. As for my favs from each: Randy: Crowley Jake: Bark at the Moon Zakk: Old L.A. Tonight I know I'm going to get mocked for that but like I said, I'm a drummer. Haha
It's kinda sad to say, but nobody is ever going to be as good as Randy was. Imo, he was the perfect guitar player...

Everything about the song Diary Of A Madman is perfection!! Randy’s solo fits like a glove. Thanks for listening 🦇
Revelation Mother Earth is the greatest Ozzy guitarist solo and the greatest solo ever made.
It is a monster, no question!
