We truly don’t believe any professional footage exists. Other than After Hours of course. Some snippets of footage has been floating around. But it’s not pro shot.

There is some cool footage on the DVD that was released with the Blizzard/Diary boxset. Ozzy live at the Palladium.
Also a really great documentary just came out not long ago on Tubi TV all about Randy Rhoads ...really great footage of him , lots of Quiet riot stuff

Ozzy is probably the reason I got into metal.
I remember being about 13 seeing the bark at the moon concert that was on MTV and I was hooked.
By now I've seen him 5 times I guess, and I have his hand signed picture framed on my wall.
I wonder if Jack ever jams black sabbath with Ozzy there in front of him and what is ozzy's reaction?
To me black sabbath ended when Ozzy left.

November 12th, 1981 I turned 10 years old. Up until that day, my parents raised me on Billy Joel and Led Zeppelin.
A family friend drove me somewhere, on the floor of his car was an unopened cassette tape, with (what looked to me as) a weird looking guy on it.
He said "That's your birthday present, open it and put it in" (his cassette player in his car, for those of you under 40, lol) I put it in he turned it all the way up, I heard a drum roll then this awesome riff. The cassette was Diary of a Madman and the song, Over the Mountain. At that moment I became a Rhoady...Randy was the best I ever heard!
The next day he brought me the record for Blizzard of Ozz, and I was nuts! This was the best music I ever heard! So I begged my parents to let me see Ozzy and Randy at the Nassau Colliseum on Long Island NY, the shows date June 1982...saw Brad Gillis. But still love Randy and everything Ozzy Osbourne!

Great show! Jack seems pretty down to earth. As a fan of both Randy and Ozzy, I would love to hear the Holy Grail and Southampton show. Sony even took promo photos of the 2011 box set with the Southampton disc as part of a Blizzard Legacy 2CD Edition. Then it got changed, which made Diary the 2CD instead with Ozzy Live, comped from 3 shows, which is probably why it is titled as such. The spotlight solo and Crowley intro from Southampton are actually on that disc and rest of the show is believed to be the Indianapolis 8/81 show Rudy said was recorded and initially intended to replace the Montreal 7/81 show for the King Biscuit Flour Hour to broadcast as Ozzy wasn’t happy with Montreal. Flying High Again from Montreal was put on Ozzy Live. Montreal is a phenomenal show and was used anyway for the KBFH broadcast and the solo for it was used for Tribute. Goodbye To Romamce and No Bone Movies on Tribute and the Mr. Crowley live EP are Southampton which is likely why the Southampton disc tracklist showed only 10 tracks as it probably omitted the 2 on Tribute but probably included the 2 EP tracks that were actually live since it was out of print (You Said It All was recorded during soundcheck and crowd noise added).

It's sort of amusing, he talks about using AI to make that re-release of Hellraiser with Lemmy, as if they could not do something like that with the Holy Grail tapes. Bu they need to let the fans make the decision on how passable the quality is

    • @diaryofthemadmen-theultima7111

Ozzy HAS to close the circle with Jake, his real best guitarist. That's the only way to end a magical career on a high note. Ozzy and Sharon are old, time to put away the grudges, give Jake his credit for BATM, he only wants his name attached to the songwriting, not the money. Then a last true Ozzy record and maybe tour with Jake to end.

@ 44:36 the dude states that it was good that the show "got to debunk the myth that Ozzy was a Bumbling Stumbling bafoon".
I think its the fact that Ozzy done booze & drugs to excess & was off his t!ts most of the time in the early years that that myth came about.
Although, any bumbling stumbling bafoon can make it as a rockstar but its only the talented, gifted & hard working stars who have any longevity in that business and who are an ever-present in that type of music.
Its true what they say, 'behind every good man is an even better woman".
Also, from what i've read Sharons dad was a real hard nut who took no sh!t. None of this 2024 fake gangsta stuff with a little dweeby nerd waving a gun about. Sharons dad was the real deal. Not to be messed with and I think thats stood Sharon in good stead in life and in turn its obviously benefited Ozzy as Sharon was there for him when he needed support.
Gotta luv Sharon & Ozzy ❤❤😁😁🎶🎵

Ozzy must be so ashamed of the greedy little hack now.
Ghost hunters?! "I feel sudden warm. It's running down my legs. I'm so terrified. Oh Spirit [insert inane babble here]. Why do you smell of ammonia?"
I know Ozzy did a lot of drugs but really?🤑
