Okay, I really love that even though this is a zombie game, the automation's nod towards building games suggests that the end goal of the game is to escape off planet in a rocket. Factorio, Rimworld, Captain of Industry, and I'm sure lots of others I'm forgetting.

Even though this does look "asset-y" as hell, as you mentioned, I really enjoy the creativity & direction this game is going with. It's very original & I hope this pans out for them
@@colby8104 Assets are reused all the time, like that the Unity mansion and house, it's s how they execute that matters. It might not be a rug pull but it is a wait and see.
@itoSprax yea seeing the assets as a way to allocate their time into the coding stuff and etc, and for an indie game. damn even the UI, visuals, and gameplay doesn't look jank or buggy and shows thoughts were put making it. all in all it heavily relies on how often the devs update the game.

The presentation and graphics are amazing. It's also a fresh take on the zombie genre. I also appreciate the variety in weapons and armor and how everything reflects on the character.
Ya know, the idea of CONTROLING the Zombies Via was i can only assume is Electrical stimulus is pretty Neat. ANNNNNNND of course something went HORRABILY WRONG, cus of course it was too good to be true!

I saw this game a few weeks ago and waited to see if good ol Splatt! was covering it. Ty Man! The premise sounded interesting. Using zombies to do chores!😂
Well, i did something i normally don't do, i bought the Supporter Edition right away and started playing yesterday. It's a pretty good game, had no problem with the download and no crashes within my first 4 hours of playing, game seems to be running stable. Characters i've found so far are voiced good, getting used to the fighting might take a while, crafting is ok, the skilltrees seems to have the usual stuff in them with a really wacky sense of humor of course, and i really love that you can move your buildings from one corner of the map to the other.
This actually looks really good, it reminds me of Dysmantle which is a pretty underrated game. There's a fair bit of depth with crafting, building and controlling your Zombot squad and the humor is on point.
Just checked Steam and sadly I can't find a demo for this. I REALLY don't get when or why game companies stopped having those. Used to be that every single game had a demo. (Yes I'm over 40, why ya askin'?)
there was a demo before the game came out...usually there are demos for games on Steam a month or longer before it comes out. there are some that do have demos even when the game does come out, but not often.

I simply don't see the point in retracting an existing, working demo just because the full game comes out. There are SO many games that I'd very much concider purchasing IF I could try it out first. So they withdraw or withhold a demo so people HAVE to buy games to try them. And not every gamer has the disposable income to do that, even with the possibility of refunding. Also, the problem with the whole refund thing is that I simply think that a mere 2 hours of playtime, the most common limit, is rarely enough time to properly know if a game is good or not.

Well, that is of course if your thinking of mainly 1995-1998 Rancid with the "...And Out Come the Wolves" & "Life Won't Wait" releases which both definitely have stronger influences of said Reggae overtones. Now if you're going old school and want it as raw as the backseat of mom's old Buick on prom night with 'ole Betty-Sue Rotten Crotch, then you'd be referring to the self-titled album of 1993 before Lars Frederiksen officially joined up...Or maybe perhaps the "Let's Go" album of '94. I like the humour in it. Devs often have a whacky sense of humour, so given a chance to be nutty they have a large personal resource pool to draw on. The feel of the humour reminds me of other devs gone wild games but I can't quite put my finger on which ones best match. Even going back into Space Quest and Monkey Island days. I can see their future update path being even wackier if they want to keep the playability up.

I propose that someone should crowdsource the design of the ultimate Zombie CCG open-world action roguelike extraction shooter. Then we can all declare it to be the best Zombie game, best CCG/deckbuilder, best open-world game, best action-roguelike and best extraction shooter. Then we can mercilessly make fun of anyone who tries to incorporate any of those features into a new game. So we can get back to playing games that aren't about zombies, deckbuilding, etc.... (But mostly return to "roguelike" meaning "turn-based")

The assets are almost identical to another zombie case grab game "Yet, another zombie survivor game". Don't fall for these rug pull scam games.

The tutorials you like so much are a lot like "How to Survive".
Those helmets are super good. You can even immediately change their clothes once the helmet is on. Truly impressive.

TBH, I don't think the premise is very stupid. Trying to use zombies seems like a go-to move. It's the way it's done that's camp as all heck.
The Zombie helper is the exact premise of Fido. Fun movie.
