I neither need to change my clutch lever nor have an Interceptor to begin with. Yet here I am watching all your videos. And loving it.
me 2 lol
You are mad then
Levers have much better ergonomics than originals. Really nice folk, a pleasure to deal with Matt & team
Purchased levers from another vendor off eBay. The eBay levers did not have the "rump" he speaks of in the video. Without the rump, I could not start the bike in gear, clutch in, with kick up. Not good if you stall the bike in traffic and need to get it started. Serious safety issue, not sure you want to be hunting for neutral to start the bike with a texting 17 year old bearing down on you at a traffic light. The vendor was good enough to take them back without the original packaging and I received a full refund and did not have to pay for return shipping. Contacted the TEC Bike folks and confirmed their levers had the rump. Got them, installed them, and they are working great, fitment is perfect, they look like they came with the bike from the factory. Very nice product and the price was sweet too. Thanks guys.
Finally got some ordered. So happy to see them in stock. Happy days
Excellent video, very helpful. I really appreciate your time and efforts in making these videos. Will definitely buy some RE stuff from your shop again.
Bought these for my GT 650 over the pond in Australia. Love them, A LOT! I read the instructions before hand then when I put them on the reaction was "OK this is even easier than the instructions let on". I did however remove the switch and tie it up out of the way out of paranoia to not break it. In short - my first purchase from you has resulted in a list for a lot more stuff. Kudos, also Matt is a gentlemen to deal with. Cheers guys!
u gyes r making interceptor even more amazing
I fitted them. Brillaint stuff.
All the way from malaysia.
Just put the TEC levers on my Continental 650. They look and feel great. Thanks for the video; I would have spent twice the time without it. Nice price too! I bought your stainless mufflers also and am very pleased with them. My next purchase will be the DNA filter.
Adjustability is always useful 👍🏻
Hi, can you ship adjustable levers to india , pune. What will be postage charges .
Glad I saw this before a dicked things up... thank you.
Hey ! Why you guys don't ship to India ? Please do !
Hi, I would love to know the custom handlebars used on the bike? where can i find them! did u have any problem with cables after installation?
It would assist if you showed more camera angles, particular when all the components are black.
Please make the short version.
Great video..sir as I was planning to buy headlight brackets for interceptor there is one issue in mind whether windscreen from ROYAL ENFIELD will fit on it or else we have to alter it
I wanted to buy several items for my new INC 650 but I cant't find the US in shipping locations on your web sight
I want to fit these on my honda hiness cb350. How do I know if they're compatible for the honda ?
Will there be a shorty version of these? Thanks.
Wanted to order a pair, disappointed that you don't ship it to India. Also wanted to replace front and rear shock absorbers:(
Any particular reason for not shipping it to this part of the world?
What does that little clutch lever switch DO? What on earth does a clutch lever need to be involved with electronics for/
what grips are those please? I love them
Are levers made in USA, as they appear out of stock at moment, they look nice & don't ruin look of bike.
Which handle bars are you using???
Do you guys ship this to India??
ya that's about right with r.e. dealers they seem to know nothing about the bikes ..that's why I did not buy one after talking to the service dept .. asking a few simple questions .. cured me ... I guess there is no r.e. school for the dealers .. its heres the bikes sell them and muddle through .... well cheap is cheap ..
What are the symptoms of a broken switch? because I didn't watch the video first :O Bike will start in gear without the clutch in?
Yes , if you break the switch, it normally just breaks the arm off and then the bike will start in gear.
Are they e marked?
A switch on the clutch? I am not familiar with the purpose of that, can you tell me please? Thanks. Your videos are driving me closer and closer to getting rid of my Kawasaki and buying a Royal Enfield.
All bike have clutch switches now as part of the starter lock out system that stops you from starting with the bike in gear and the clutch out.
First thing I am taking off when I get a new bike....more Gov nonsense.
1966gtoguy And the first thing you’ll refit when you accidentally start the bike in gear and you drop it!
@@peacockchristopher99 Had multiple bikes and manual trans cars never had an issue, the same people who mandate these items are the same people who put engine kill switches on lawn mowers to keep people from cutting their hands off.If a person is not smart enough to make sure the bike or car is on neutral then they have no business driving.
I love little rumps.
It always amuses me when after market parts are described as CNC levers, lol.
I wonder if people know what that actually means. Standard handles are usually
cast then machined quite often by CNC machined. The after market ones are
machined from cast aluminium billets using CNC machines. Computer Numerically
Controlled machines are widely used for all production machining it’s pretty meaningless
really in describing quality. All cheap items are computer control produced.
Hi George, when will the scrambler exhaust be available?
Hi
We will have 2 x new full stainless performance systems for the 650's. the first will be a low level 2-1 . The 2-1 high level will follow quickly behind. we have done this as we have had a lot more interest for the low exhaust as customers in hot countries don't like high level exhausts. We have a huge demand and backlog of exhaust orders so will probably be late Autumn when available sorry.
Could Spoil the retro look of the bike. But after all, it's your personal choice so cheers mate!
we also make them in clear alloy for a more classic look
@@georgemilburn6213 do you ship these to India?
there'd be plenty of buyers for these here in India, if you weren't so tight about NOT shipping to us ! What's that about ?
sorry but had too many problems with India customs and lost items. i think we need to get an India distributor that knows local system better than us.
@@georgemilburn6213 well if it wasn't for the CRONA we'd send a mule over on an air India flight :)
On a serious note, if you guys think it's possibly worthwhile to pursue having an indian retail partner, and you need some help setting that up, I'd be happy to help connect the dots.
Thanks and probably something we will look at post covid 19. But at the moment we are absolutely at full capacity serving our current markets with parts
I love your videos. What's your name? Can we send you messages? And if we can where do we send it? What got you into motorcycles in the first place?
Himalaya- N
Why would you want to replace the original unit that are perfect for something that looks like it belongs on a GSXR....
Pointless......
Adjustability
@@fasthracing the original has all the adjustability required
Think you need some rubber matting on your table top
sorry I did not think the mic would pick up that noise.
Worst lever... Not CNC... mine broke while bike dropped from standing position...
Jesus, slow down a bit, will you? You're twitching like you're on speed or just totally manic.....
