  • Business to business marketing has quite a few differences and a few similarities to business to consumer marketing. Here we go through some of the basics of B2B marketing and relate them to the more well known business to consumer marketing.

    Awesome video Mark! Companies b2b and b2c working in digital space( digital products like software, websites courses ) there is less difference between the two in ways of doing business have you noticed that trend aswell? For example most of my clients ( businesses) I have never met and most communication goes through Zoom and other apps. On the other hand with selling a digital course for example or with a social media campaign it gets easier for the B2C businesses to communicate on a somewhat more personal level.
    Keep it up with the videos. Sadly I missed the live stream. Hopefully I will make it to the next one.

    B2SMB is not like regular B2B. I have been on both ends of the transaction. As a small school purchasing say 100 laptops, I don't get near the service as bigger school buying 1,000 or say a major city district buying 50,000. However I do agree relationships are the key. I have been buying from one sales rep for close to twenty years.

    Good video, thanks Professor. But, I think with the globalization, B2B is becoming more like to B2C specially for SMB's. SMB's can have a large number of customers scattered over large geographic domains and will be obliged to implement strategies similar to B2C.
