*_Perception of High Quality Branding_* My all-time favorite example of this is *_Häagen-Dazs._* Second generation owner of a successful ice cream company decides to make radical changes and creates the super-premium ice cream industry in the USA (in the '60s). Goes all natural and high fat and has to come up with a new company name. Wanting to honor Denmark he and his daughter made up Häagen-Dazs which doesn't mean anything but to them sounded Danish. The public perception was that European food must be exceptional quality so well worth the higher price. It worked. Crazy to me. *_Really interesting video, Mark._*
@Sophie yes... ice cream does different things to my body than it did back in my younger years :) I used to have a local brand i loved, but even now i am like... bad idea for little marky
You must be the coolest professor and give great examples to help explain these marketing terns. I liked the architecture in Savannah GA. Its so odd seeing you travel in the US because your other YT channel has all these epic vacations.
It's kinda like intersectionalism, only with customer demands instead of catagorical affiliations of human beings. Each constituent or facet adds to (or substracts from) the overall perceived value. Of the product or service, not the person.

What determinate attributes do you use to decide what to do when you arrive somewhere?
