I use the 15 litre version for day hikes as like to travel lightweight and I love it. 👍

I always use a dry bag in all my backpacks. Keeps everything dry

Great review. I thought about one of these for long rides as well. Still on the fence, but this has really helped.

Off subject possibly and I'm sure you been asked many times but how come you dont do any Bikepacking/Gravel racing? Or did you?
You must be as fit as a butchers dog and your certainly tough enough for the minimalist aspect.
Off subject again but how about a ride to the Ginsters factory? Potential sponsors surely for all the exposure you give them?

Good vid! Can you get a Dji mini 3 pro in there with controller and possibly a GoPro?

Really helpful review. Thank you. Exactly the type of thing I am searching for as I don't like a full rucksack because of the sweaty back issue...... this one looks like it'd only be a top half sweaty back :-) Far better.

I bought the exact same bag with running in mind. But I thought it’d be great for bike packing too. I did wonder what the extra straps were for though 😁

Looks good for it’s purpose, however, my issue with hydration bladders for multi day cycling is you can really only use plain water. Put energy powders in them and they are just going to grow mould and bacteria unless they are cleaned out everyday really well.
That’s why the extra weight of bottles is more efficient as they can be cleaned much more easier and easier to use with a water filter if needed.

Stick the bladder and tubes in the freezer between rides.

Thanks a lot for the great video mate!
If you don’t mind, may I ask if you followed the size guide when you bought yours?
Or where do you sit on the M/L size range ?(Higher, lower, or middle)
I’m 6ft, and awkwardly happen to sit roughly between M/L and XL. Because we don’t have a local Decathlon, I couldn’t just go try them on; and I have heard they might be sized slightly larger. So I’m quite curious of your take on it.

I was same being in between sizes, i went with M/L and at first it did feel a bit small but i think it's about right the only thing that i struggle with is the reaching into the back pocket but i dont think a bigger size would really help.
You could always order both and send one back, decathlon normally have a pretty easy returns system in place.

      Much appreciated for the reply!
Good idea of ordering two and send the unfit one back, I’ll double check with our Decathlon here in Australia.
Thanks your very much for taking time to reply, and the fantastic videos of course, loves your work!

Do you reckon it's possible to fit a 2L bladder inside?

    • @KeepSmilingAdventures
      @KeepSmilingAdventures  2 роки тому

Id say probably not it's basically designed to fit the one that comes with it. If you wanted to carry more water you can fit 2 of them flexible water bottles in the cheat straps
