Some of the Ali express running vests I've used have been absolutely some of the best and at a fraction of the price of well known brands. On the other hand decathlon has the best running vest I've ever used. It's simply fantastic

Got it. The whistle is a general part. Decathlon uses the cord method. The slot is probably for buckles that have the whistle integrated so this part slides on the buckle so they don't have to make a new or two parts.
I have the same one 10l . Doesn’t fit a quiver and my earphone case fell out while running so……
