Yes the Pixies are old now but this still gave me goosebumps. I first saw them 25 years ago and then they were awesome. I guess with all live concerts you just had to be there.
The first time I heard this song, I was walking on the street with friends in the middle of the night, and this song came to me from a bar which was on a second floor, instantly I felt very attracted to that sound, it was unique, different, so that bar, was on another planet and the people there were actually no people. But I was with friends going somewhere else and we kept moving, but only my body I must say. If I wondered then "where is my mind", it was in that bar. A special moment!
I don't know why people are mocking this performance but for me this sounded absolutely perfect and just retells the story of the song in the eyes of older.

I saw Pixies several days ago before Glastonbury, at INmusic festival in Croatia, and trust me they were amazing, these recordings are boring. To be honest, they are very bored when performing this song, but all other masterpieces live are just WOW, you must see that!
I also saw Pixies before Glastonbury as Jasterrrr, in Warsaw. They were really amazing. I don't think that they are getting too old for playing, it's just that performence in my opinion.
