I have a kobo libra color and I love it more than my kindle. Also, I love your shirt one of my all time favorite bands. My cousin in law got to do photography for them when they were in town a few months ago and I'm so jealous of her.
So far I feel the same and I haven’t missed kindle unlimited really at all! I was expecting to have like withdrawals lol but I am loving kobo! Also, that is awesome! I bet the pictures turned out awesome
It's honestly BS that the stylus has to be charged separately -- that is just one more cord of which to keep track. I don't understand why they didn't integrate the charging into the unit itself, as is seen with tablets. All I have to do to charge my Galaxy Tab's stylus is simply place it on the side and it starts automatically.
I love my kobos I haven’t bought the color one because I don’t need colored books. I have 4 or 5 kobo readers. 2 libra and 2 Clara’s and the huge tablet looking one that comes with the stylus
Hello. I would look forward to the audio reading feature because I have dyslexia. This has been an accessibility issues on eReaders. Esp if you don’t have an audio book & have to do screen reader option. I haven’t seen anyone demonstrating the audio feature on the Kobo. Would you be willing to do a short or video on this?
@@sydneystewiee I’d appreciate that. Most are lucky to not need it. I should be kinder to myself about having dyslexia. But it is an uphill battle to navigate & also find accessibility tools. I’ve been looking at the Kobo colour readers, but not confident about purchasing b/c there isn’t any info out there about the audio features. I think that I’m one of the few who has the accessibility needs. Sentence line spacing & font size/style is helpful for dyslexia. My paperwhite has a dyslexia font. Audio helps, esp if we’re able to control the speed of audio or text being read. My paperwhite’s voice screen reader (to read text on pages) is inefficient & a learning curve that makes the reading process laggy. I have such niche needs unfortunately 😭😭😭
I’ve found that as far as books they don’t have as far of a range as kindle unlimited. But I’ve been using Libby honestly more anyways lately so it hasn’t impacted my reading

Not too sure! Maybe that is something they plan to fix in the future. I will say at least the stylus battery lasts quite a bit thankfully lol

This is my first one and I love it. I can’t believe I have never heard of them before

I sure can! I haven’t tried it myself yet

So I did some looking and played around with my kobo, I don’t see an option for an audio reading if you don’t have the audio book
Tried to look at the latest book by the Radford family and that didn’t show either.
Are kindle going to bring out a colour version regarding e ink?
That’s what the rumor is! Supposedly next year is the timeline for that
How long did the setup take? I turned on mine and connected it to wifi 30min ago and I'm still "updating.."
Mine took less than like 2 mins
I downloaded the Kobo app and searched a book but they only have it as audible which is pretty shit.
