Hi Ryan. Thanks for a great review. Yes, I would pick this over any German out there! Too bad about the power output tho, but then again, there's a R&R Racing kit for these bad boys that jumps the power to around 600 whp, and yet it still be cheaper than the Geman rivals!. Having that said, that Caddy ain't that shabby either :) Love your vids, keep them coming!
Yeah, give it 10 years everybody will be on just like gs300 and the 2je engine.people only relise how good they are cuz they are so advance, powerful and reliable.
Lexus didn't exist to me, in my mid 40s now, until just 4 weeks ago I purchased a 2002 GS430. I'm frikn hooked! Although I don't make enough to purchase a GSF, I'll be on the hunt for it's little brother, ISF. These are great cars!
My grandpa offered to sell his 2008 to my sister for $8,000, she scoffed at the idea because it has 119k miles on the clock. I told her that it's just beginning as it's not even broken in yet, that she should get 300k plus out of it.
Not to mention the new F90 M5’s went back to using the older ZF8 speeds… and also a point on the transmission shift speeds, he’s the only one complaining meanwhile someone like Matt Farah thinks its even better than the ZF
I don't think the GSF is competing with the M5 or the E63. GSF is probably a direct competition to the 550i or E series with 3.0 turbo moror badging AMG.
I dont understand why everybody thinks its the end of the world when lexus cars comes out standard from factory. The engine block they use is far superior than any german rival. They mocked lexus 25 years ago,and now most of their cars are still on the road now and are being tuned. LS400, LS430, GS300, GS400 etc These are still good up to todays standards. Gs-f am thinking 2JZ equal or probberly better give it 10 years mark my words people will be all over this!
Ive got a 11 gs 350 and just hit 150k miles. Will keep that car till the wheels fall off. Its my daily driver now and pull out my 19 platinum tundra when i feel like it
All these reviewers that bash this car for not having 600 HP....are the same ones that bash a 600 HP car for not having 700 HP...it’s not always about power it’s about refinement and value
I have a GSF and you have to put the pedal down to the point it pushes the button under the pedal for full throttle. The car can do 4.35 seconds in manual/sport+/TC off.
I once lusted after this as an upgrade to my 04 GS430 but ended up with a 07 W211 E550 just slightly slower than the GS-F but has way more torque under the curve lured me and fact previous owner took care of the car well. Lexus asked way too much money for this car that’s on a ten year old motor and barely improved 8 speed. They have been resting on there laurels even as former multiple Lexus owner myself there peak was mid 2000’s.
*One thing you never mention is that the Lexus will actually appreciate in value due to its build quality and reliability. It won't blow up in 10 years like it's German rivals. There are some Lexus ISF's out there with over 350k miles with only regular maintenance!*
Why every reviewers compared this to M5 and E63? The price and performance figure is S6 and E53 territory. Toyota not build this to compete M5 or E63, they actually defined the best combination between luxury and performance in this class.
Seems like all reviewers bash the Gs F from a performance standpoint when it comes to the super sedan lineups! Ok..... In my opinion the Gs F competes w/ the likes of (BMW m550, Mercedes e 53 amg, and AUDI S6) when it comes to Horsepower, performance, and $ range! It’s no where near the super sedans that are over $100k but it’s a good all around car if you if you value reliability, and a car you can daily drive w/ being horrified
The only thing that prevented me from getting this car was the crappy infotainment system. It felt so outed dated but the speakers are just amazing. I ended up getting a f10 550 it’s fun but reliability scares me
“ let’s get into a car that I didn’t think I would like “ Yeah a almost 500hp performance sedan with a high tech V8 is something to think you wouldn’t like from the people that made the LFA...
Nice car, looking for one now. They depreciate quicker then fanboys think..... Reliability is the key buying factor here if u wanna keep the car long term to 100k miles or more. Too bad Lexus stripped US version of some options that all EU and Canada gets
I would like to state something about analog clocks IT IS NOT FOR THE DRIVER it if for the passagner to "admire" regardless if it's ugly or not that's its purpose no one can read a analog clock while driving
Comon. You don't buy a Toyota for performance or innovative tech features. It's all about NOT GOIN TO YOUR MECHANIC EVERY 3MONTHS!! 😂 I LOVE TOYOTAS ❤️
That thing can hold 800hp without breaking. That is the transmission that will give you well over 500k miles if treated right. It shifts in 0.1 seconds at full throttle. Still as quick as many dual clutch transmissions out there. How much faster do you want?
@@tbirdboy I own a JAGUAR XF 2011, and I 100% agree with you with the unreliable of jaguar but don't buy cars you can't afford maintain and repair cost.
@@undisturbed809 Spoken like a true shill who'll end up broke. For some of us having a well engineered car that works is important. Irony is folks who comment on these cars claim the reliability is a bad thing. 80k base isn't an option for the poor, its an option for folks who's time is worth more. I'm not being paid 200 dollars an hour to sit in a dealership or hell to even call a dealership to get my car fixed. It works, and I make money. If I pay that kind of cash it better work all the time. That's why I pay more for it. Otherwise I'd drop a big motor into some random vehicle and build whatever I want for cheaper. I'm paying for a well rounded machine that will work no matter what.
@@d1sturb3d119 if someone has 80k to spend on a car, ill bet you that person won't be thinking of a lexus as there first choice when you can yet used supercars for that price range, expecially when that's the mercedes E and S class price range.

I was a huge fan of this car until I drove it. Shit sucks compared to Audi and BMW. Haven't driven a c63 so can't say about Mercedes. GSF interior is so bad and the steering is dead.
Would you pick the Lexus, Mercedes-AMG, BMW or something else?

GS F to own, Germans to lease.

Yep my LS 460 analog clock is totally off.
The title should be “GS F” not F sport it’s a big difference. The vehicle in the video is an “F model”
Antwan Jones I think he meant “GSF” sport sedans instead of GS Fsport sedan
I think you're misreading what the title is.
4 modes not 3, you forgot normal.
I know as I have a GS F !
I was wondering can you turn the music channels while ur driving Some vids say no But one guy aays his lc500 he can with the dials
