Of all the LSAs cammed in recent years on your channel that revs in the last dyno pull like a V8 supercar, impressive. Cookie Monster comment was gold eating boost 😂 Love the weekly wraps also its like having a mate walking around on a Friday night talking shop, cheers keep it up.
Wow thats a big gain from a cam swap impressive , I personally try to only use Au owned and manufactured parts to support Au manufacturing as long as its the right part for my application,.
If you've been following our channel you will see 98% of our camshafts & parts are all Australian made. And we purchase our BTRs directly from Race Max Direct which is an Australian own company so we're doing our part. Sometimes we just don't have what we need so you do have to outsource sometimes.
@@IndependentMotorsports Yeah I been following you for a couple of years I know you use mostly au parts wasnt having shot just stating my personal preference if someone wants to use os parts thats fine too.
Question, does the 10% overdrive balancer affect the alternator and other aspects like the A/C compressor, after all she will be spinning a 10% more speed even at various low speeds etc? Also so far your work has been outstanding compared to other tuning places in Victoria? 🚓🚓🚓🚓🚗🚗🚗🚗🙌🙌✌✌👌👌😀😀👍👍
No it has no effect as the LSA has a separate drive that is dedicated to the supercharger only. Thanks mate I try to keep it as real and raw I don't have time for any of this fancy stuff.
The 1286 is a really good cam that works in both applications so I would recommend this. However if you are putting the blower on straight away then I would recommend the BTR
Honestly mate it's not economically viable, by the time you convert everything over you might as well just build a 6ltr and fit a blower to it. The prices that LSAs are going for these days is just absolutely crazy.
@IndependentMotorsports I was thinking it's a complete motor and cost vs a 6 litre plus cost of a blower it might work out cheaper. But ye apparently not
So adding a harrop 2.650lt LSA looking supercharger will make it sing for sure, plus head work is a must. but still over 500kw at the rear wheels is massive, plus its a manual, so she will spin in 1,2,3 gears for sure its the ducks guts barry. :)🚓🚓🚓🚓👌👌🙌🙌👍👍

Thanks mate sometimes I feel like I'm rambling on about nothing but if you guys are enjoying it then I'll keep doing it.
Thanks good info sounds nice that engine

@@AndrewMitchell001absolutely I understand
Love your work
killer mate!
Nice. I run the BTR PDS Stage 2 in a Magnuson 2005 Corvette. Great cam.
BTR have been very consistent.
Grouse power and torque increase. What size converter is this car running?
Its a manual
@@IndependentMotorsports that makes sense now. I wrongly assumed it was an auto with a decent converter.
@@bigal878 All good mate it was a good question I don't think I even mentioned that in the video so thanks for asking.

Do you recommend this cam or a crow 1286 for a vf 2 ls3 manual. Def have plans to put a charger in the future. Thanks :)

@@IndependentMotorsports Appreciate the quick reply. I wont be putting the charger straight away, so think 1286 is tge way to go. Thank you
Have you changed the cams on the Fg supercharged 5.0?
We haven't done any development work. And to be honest with you I haven't really seen a need to change them
Stuffy! How hard would one of these engines be to put into and old vt vx commodore that was previously a 6 cylinder. Can be done ?

Lovely
Hope to get my 2017 R8 LSA done one day.😊
You will love it mate
What exhaust is that

Same combo but auto trans, what size stall?
3k would be perfect
