The actuator rod that connects the booster to the pedal is often adjustable (under the boot) so in some cases you might not need the washers. Check the old one to see for sure, or you could swap the actuator rods...good stuff, thanks for sharing.
In the scene where I was measuring the length of the brake booster rod I incorrectly stated the measurement of the Original booster. The length from the back of the booster to the center of the rod is 4 3/4.
Did you rotate the brake proportioning valve in that orientation, I have a 92 as well and my prop valve has the electrical connection at the top or upright position.
Did you buy the brake lines for actual 1992, or for 1995 and newer xj? Or for wj? Also was curious on prop valve position - did you shift it from 1992 OEM position?
Oh no way will i ever do flares on a brake job go in the back room make your own from pre done or order online good friends at the local advance just type in what i need and go find it you know a guys thinking i just need a speed card or a tab make it so much easier side note both my 90s run that single and my 98 xj and wj run the double but of all my mcjeeps the 00 wj brakes the best disc front and rear that 4500 pound truck stops right now

When I press my pedal it's extra light and it makes like an air sound when I press it down can it be my break booster I have a 96 Cherokee 4.0
Perfect... good video!!
Thank you!!!
Nice job on Joe.Would the WJ booster be an upgrade for my 2001 XJ too?
The 96 and above have the bigger booster. This mod is more for the XJ’s with the single diaphragm booster-early 90’s Cherokee’s
