Man please talk about mercedes a class w176
I have watched several reviews from this guy on cars that I was familiar with and I found his videos to be very well researched and spot on. I am very impressed. Highly recommended.
this guy is a beast we must share it!
Good video. This guy is not bagging RR’s, just pointing out the practical issues. Some of which I can relate to like the air suspension and sunroof drains.
2008 l322 TDV8 3.6l DPF and EGR delete, exhaust done, remapped to suit. Best 4x4 I’ve driven, no issues bar the door lock fob (have to use the key) Purchased with 146,000 klm’s at a bargain price, near all on the highway, never towed and looked after: no dings, interior is near perfect bar the cloth roof lining is a tad saggy, if you didn’t think to check you wouldn’t notice. Drives smooth as, no rattles, much better than an X5. Has 22” rims already installed so can’t comment on hardcore off-road as I wouldn’t use these sizes... and the noise = hammers of the Gods.
Very good informative non bias commentary on used RR's. Excellent
I've got my 2008 rrs for 4 years apart from regular service and tyres havnt done anythn.. dont know why ppl complaint about these lovely cars
agree, my 13 goes without any issues besides regular maintenance
Depends on the luck now this car is 10+ years old and depends on how many owners previously had and how they maintained it
99% of the people ragging on them have never owned or driven one.
the old ones were junk .Now the are really good..
Impressed with video quality. Very informative. Thanks!
Great video, you guys give awesome info.
Good job buddy. I am about to buy one and this is very helpful. There are so many features that it is hard to check everything out.
Long awaiting video. Good job
Very in depth and informative. Thank you!
It would have been better to list the parts that don't break. The list would have been alot shorter.
Ever own one, chump?
Looks like the answer is no
Hahaha
@@Win7ermu7e but you own one, bitch?😡
@@blackninja9400 Yes, toolbag. A SC L405. And an Autobiography L320 before that.
I have RR Sport 2.7tdv6 HSE for two years now with 260 000+km. The only major problem i had is the rear windshield whipper and the buttons for the windows. I have the luck to be a 2nd owner and the previous one was taking very good care of her so i try to please her the way she wants, so we’ll not have problems.
I want to tell you that With my experience with English Cars is that they are very complex and when they don’t get the service quality they want, they will start to cause problems and to be mad at you. Like a spoiled City Woman...
My advice to you is: *Don’t buy Champagne with money for Lemonade.* ;)
I completely agree with David Parizek, and - as I am now buying used L320 facelift, this were VERY VERY HELPFUL - for exp. crankshaft noises record and so on. THANKS A LOT, i'm sure, youre not helping just me, but many many others!
yeah what a great video
Very nice review! Thank you
Very informative video's... and straight to the point
Best review and advice 👍
Very thorough and spot on haha nice video!
Great video! I'd say the coolant and brake oil change is enough at 5 years, but the diesel fuel filter every year, thus the variable quality and dirtiness of diesel each country.
great video. missed a couple of items. wing/spoiler can just fall off, common for supercharger to fail on the 5.0 as well.
Thank You ... enjoyed the video and your helpful info !... 2010 3.0 TDV6 owner .
How is the experience?
Excellent review
BRO GREAT RESEARCH
Very helpful video!
I had Audi A8 2008 RS6 2003 S8 2000 all have long lists of things that can go wrong, I had only minor issues, I would always say with such cars, check all when you buy, keep service intervals and just drive your cars with respect and ease. And you will have no big issues. If you cant a cheap car to drive, buy a small hatchback with 1,6l engine.
Great review with prices
Thank You for this👍👍👍
On my 5th rrs, no issues. Only buy with full history. And continue that servicing. The failures here aside from air suspension is the same possibilities on any other high end car.
Louis James I think it’s the probability, not the possibilities that haunt the brand.

Good review, i have an o6 v8 sport . All problems hes listed are what to expect and look for when buying. Most can be fixed reasonably easily, lotsa help on you tube. Shop for aftermarket stuff , way cheaper. Some things , like door lock actuators only get from land rover. Great cars and very rewarding for the $$$. If your a bit handy that is.
great video.
Thanks!
Well done👍👍👍
I've just bought my 2005 range rover sport 2.7 diesel without going to view it big mistake it was delivered while i was out after looking over the RRS found the rear break discs to be seized the front drivers side flexi hose had perished and the hand brake module requires the cogs cleaned or replaced after all the work is completed the cars onboard computer will need to be rebooted to get everything paired up and ready to go roll onto the day I can get to take it out
We love our 08 L320! Triple black with 22” Stormer wheels and blacked out trim make her a mean machine! Went through typical rear wheel bearing failure where the rear wheel had 3” of lateral play! Thought she was gonna roll at over at 70mph! Spark plugs at or before 100k, MAF sensor and a random coolant leak needed repairs. Currently the front diff has been growing louder and louder over time so wel swap that at some point. All in all shes been great to us! Ive had the German rivals and its all the same story.... stupid shit just breaks! Welcome to Euro SUV ownership! Dont wanna spend money?.. go get a Toyota RAV4 and be bored for a decade while you scratch your balls in traffic! The RRS is a great buy and very enjoyable if...and only if its previous owner loved it and gave it what it needed...plain and simple. My only regret and advice, the 4.4 300HP Jag engine(i feel) is slightly underpowered...get the SC engine and youl be happy!
Jordan Chance do you have a foto of it? It sounds like a beautiful beast
In Italy we have a tax for the cars over 185kw called “Super-bollo” 😭
Every car has problems it all depends how u maintaine it
Exactly. All Land Rovers/Range Rovers are complex machines and they do not tolerate poor maintance and cheap chineese parts.
Not Toyotas
Goran Bitunjac I have RR Sport 2.7tdv6 HSE.
With my experiences with English and Swedish cars, i can say that they are very moody or complex. If you don’t give them the maintenance quality they want, they will start making problems and they will be mad at you. Like a spoiled Woman.
@End of Days Totally! Timing chain tensioner issues, air suspension, water pumps, etc. They know about the problems, do jack to fix them before they leave the factory, and prefer to invest on re-tooling for a fancier stereo system.
I stick to my 4Runner, far less service.
Was planning to buy a rover thinking that parts won’t break. Now I’m wondering what parts DONT break.
Hey man, do you have a PDF checklist for all of this?
I have to have chunky or SUV type vehicle. I used to drive coaches, buses, trucks and then taxis and find the larger the vehicle the easier it is to get about in or park. I settled for a Freelander and then discovered they made a series 2. So comfortable it is priceless. Narrator on speed I am out of here.
Hello sir
What do you think about 2006 she spot Tange rover with 50,000 km
Do you recomend?
Thanks
I cannot get the hood open on my 2015 SE Sport! Any advice? Thanks!
Please Make video on used first generation Chrysler 300c
Supercharged one be a lot of fun with all that power. You would think for the price these costs that itd atleast have a design which would be reliable even if parts are expensive.I think Il stick to my reliable Pajero which has never broken down.
I want to buy one, but the way I watch this video, I’m afraid to buy Range Rover
What do you think of the newer generation?
Please do 300C and Grand Cherokee.
Which sport model has the most reliable timing chain
If you look at all these videos, you would end up taking the bus 🚎
100%
Please make video for BMW X1
I am very confused about the difference between l320 and l322. How do you know which model is what year ? Looking at a 2007 RRS HSE would that be a l320 or l322?
L322 is the code for the full sized Range Rover. L320 for the Range Rover Sport.
I have mine 2.7 TDV6 for almost 6 months, drove about 10k kms and odometer says 324000+ km done. Guess how I'm sleeping. You guessed well, good, I'm sleeping very good. Sometimes these videos seems to be scary, but these issues are well known and what is saying is truth. So I'm on a planned maintenance in couple of days to change oils, check brakes but works flawlessly, and change some silent blocks on front axle. So, I'm doing same maintenance things like with my other cars, if they're 4x4 or not. Car works as it suppose to, 2.7 engine is weak but car as a whole is not underperfoming, it is not going 100km\h under 10 seconds and it is not needed.... what I really like is comfort while traversing rocky hill while your friends gotta go around :D.
Dude, can you advise me please i never had a car i don’t know anything about cars but i would like to buy the same model you have do you think i will afford it if i am earning 3K euros a month? Thanks In Advance appreciate it...
@@ateam8026 look, I've got mine pretty cheap for 9K Euros, it comes from caring guy, I'm third owner. Most of the important things have been done before me, but I'm keeping the rest in check, it doesn't drain much money. So far I spend aprox 300 euros in front left axle, 250 euros in oil change (including all filters, I did it twice already so 250x2) and 400 euros in new set of winter rubbers so far. Small things and simple car electric problems are dealt by myself, but there weren't much.
I do have access to affordable third party car servicing, guy only services Land Rover brand cars, that means better knowledge and experience in fixing them. Which I also decided for my first LR car decade ago, having access to good service.
For 15 years old car it feels like brand new, yeah driving new RRS is a bit different and is expensive a lot, but when 2005 RRS compared to current modern SUVs in the price tag I can afford, old RRS is still best investment. It is one year now I have it and it keeps the same.
@@realarchanger Thanks man appreciate it. Really you have mileage of 324000 so you have bought it 314000 mileage you never got scared? I would like to have a 7 seater which model is the 7 seater for 2005-2013?
@@ateam8026 currently I'm at 334000 km (not miles). I had defender and discovery before, so I believe I can tell if something is going to be wrong soon :). But my opinion stay same, it is not different from any other older cars. Unfortunately I do not know which version do have 7seater, and regarding the space in boot, I would choose L322 rather, if you want 7seater.
@@realarchanger wow that’s impressive 334000klm is not a joke you have been bless with a good choice. Thanks man i let you know if i purchase already. Keep safe God bless..

is it true the 2010 models and newer, the reliability has improved? I currently own an Audi A5 and wondered if it was 'worth' the swap! I love the aesthetic of the RR Sport! I have my eye on a few 2010 3.0 v6 Diesel HSE - would this be okay to look at or would you recommend something else?
Andrew Cheung - Used Rovers are cheap to buy second hand, but expensive to repair and maintain. More expensive than Audi...
I would say, only if you willing to give out 2-3k $ a month hapily, and will say that it goes with this car. Or! Get a mechanic who knows it well, and works cheap. For example, if you have a bit of interest in repairing, the oil change is doable easily by yourself at home, especialy that these cars have super extended mode, thus about 25 cms (10inches) of ground clearance.
Andrew Cheung I would recommend a 2013 model
Just keep a few grand on the side just in case something goes wrong
@@balintvegh628 2-3k $ a month? Are you tripping 😂

Just buy one with low mileage and continue the maintenance. Keep it in warm place in winter to protect the air suspension, and it will be okey
Just buy one, life is too short so just get what you want. Enjoy.

I've been talking with guy who is servicing mine Disco2 here in Bratislava/Slovakia, because I'm looking to buy Disco3/4 or this RR Sport. And I was worried about many issues mentioned here in video and what I read on many forums, but the thing is that this is list of most common issues tied to vital functionality. It is not like you are getting all of these issues :), which this way looks horrible. OK, point of my discussion with service guy was that he saw what user's disinterest in its own car can do, but for years he is servicing these cars, he never saw anything horrible. 2.7 engine is not powerful, where word SPORT in name of car is misleading, but it is still more offroad car than a sport car, for real sport car people should look elsewhere.
I think this review is mostly geared toward landrover' s fanboys - here here what can you await :). The rest of the viewers can buy any german :D. I heard bad things about Disco2 before I bought it, but none of that happened ever. So this is it.
I'm going to see some german car review, so I can tell myself how stupid I'm to throw money at range rover :D.
