Hey David!! thank you so much for being here to enjoy these with us! We really appreciate that :) We will be watching all of the MCU movies every Monday at 6pm EST here on UA-cam! Cannot wait for more!!!!!
Definitely release order, it has the vibe like we had when they came out. I reference this one all the time, 5 spine surgeries, 3 of them involving titanium plates & screws (fusions), I am Iron Man. Well, that or Darth Vader, depends on my mood. ;-)
The MCU departed from the comics in two very distinct ways. One, MOST heroes abandon the idea of secret identities. That was the outcome of Tony’s revelation. Two, as a certain redhead puts it in a future film, “We don’t want to kill you, but we will.” In the comics, they don’t kill. That is not the case in the MCU. You’ll see. More grounded in this way than people expect.
So the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU for short) is broken down into phases: Phase 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. Currently in real time time we're in phase 5. But y'all ofc are starting with Phase 1. Phases 1-3 are only movies (23 in total) which encapsulates The Infinity Saga. Phases 4-6 also include streaming shows and TV specials just keep that in mind. Now it's early to show you the list but I will in due time. Hope y'all enjoy this journey :)
Oh wow!! Thank you so much for breaking that down! Love to hear that there are phases to this!! Such an epic universe already! Looking forward to The Incredible Hulk next!
You guys have just begun an incredible franchise journey. I can't wait to watch your reactions (count me as subscribed). As others have advised, it is so important you watch the movies in their theatrical release order. Have fun!
@tktopmovies unfortunately that's very close to midnight here in mainland Europe haha, heading off to bed now but at least I'll have something to look forward to in the morning! 😁
This is bringing me back to the days when there would be months between awesome Marvel releases. Any interest in doing shorts about prediction/anticipation for the next movie? Maybe a little theorycrafting as the overarching plot takes shape?
Yaaay! (Btw, ur gonna need to watch all 3 Toby McGuire movies & both Garfield’s Amazing Spider-Man movies for later. Once u get thru phase one, u’ll wanna add some of those in. Just fyi)
Yesssss! I've seen those! :) (Not sure if Ty has seen the Andrew Garfield ones or not..?) But could definitely use a refresher since it's been a long time lol! Thanks for enjoying with us!
So glad you are embarking on this. Not every movie through Endgame is a huge banger, but they are all must watch. Ironman is one of the most important movies because it set a standard for quality storytelling and characters. That quality remains throughout phases 1-3. Enjoy the ride!
Just letting you know that the Spiderman movies you talked about in the intro are NOT part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. They are their own universe. However, down the line you will have to watch them, along with several for reasons I cannot disclose.
Hogan ( Jon Favreau ) that played Starks limo driver was actually the director of the movie. He fought hard to get Robert Downey to be able to play this role. The studio didn't want Downey because of his at that time recent scandals. To say the least Downey made the most of it.
@@tktopmovies I'm just a Marvel nerd. Glad to see you are enjoying it so far. There's alot of fun awaiting you. Especially once the Marvel Universe begins to expand for you. Have fun you 2
Just a reminder: when you reach the first Avengers movie, that one and some movies after that will have more than one credit scene. Welcome to the circus!
What no one gets is that the MySpace line at the beginning of the movie was a bit of an insult. in 2008 Myspace was already long dead and the people who were still using it were people who were clueless about the internet and technology. Tony being tech savvy and sassy at the same time. Welcome to Marvel!
Ha!! That's so true!! This was a fantastic introduction into Marvel! We can't wait to see what happens next! The Incredible Hulk next Monday, stay tuned! :)
Obidiah was jealous of tony because he felt like he should of been left with the company after howard passed away but tony being the son had access to the company
This is where the fun begins :D Also I should probably add that Spider-Man 1-2-3 staring Toby Maguire Is actually Sony and not Marvel so technically you haven't seen any Marvel movies yet I cant wait to see the other reactions!
Awesome journey you have just embarqued in! ❤ Its gonna be so much fun. As a fan of marvel movies I have some recommendations: 1. Pay attention to all those little details and dialogs from this movie until the end, just as you pointed out well the changes in Tony's personality compared to the beginning of the film. 2. Watch the next one in chronological order, which is The Incredible Hulk, because many people jump straight to Iron Man 2, but its worth while seeing this stand alone movie. 3. Have fun looking for Stan Lee's cameos in the films and dont forget mid and endcredits scenes.
Oh, you're doing Marvel. I think I gotta watch this. I watched Iron Man when it came out and had no idea about Marvel. The comic book heroes I knew of was Superman and Spiderman. Oh, and the Hulk. I loved this movie as a stand alone story and then also of course the combination later on (much later on) with the Avengers. I don't think I've seen all Marvel movies yet but most of them. I think going chronological, story wise and not by release day, is the best way to learn where the stand alone movies all fit into the overall story franchise. Or at least that's how it worked best for me when I did my Marvel marathon a couple years back. Edit: Haha, and I see other recommending going by release date. Well. It's how most of us have seen the movies after all and is perhaps the best. Personally I just really liked that I could watch it in other way. (I had already seen most of the stand alone movies when I took a dive back into the franchise and re-watched it in 2021).
❤️ So ready for “Marvel Monday!” 🦸🏼♀️ And starting with the gorgeous Robert Downey JR 😍 Of course that’s not the reason I love Tony Stark 😉 Well maybe just a little bit 😂 You guys are the best and what another awesome reaction ⭐️💯⭐️ You are in for such an incredible journey 🎦 LETS GO 🎉 Big hugs xx 💋

I do hope once you are done with the movies you will check out Marvel's Agents of S.H.E.I.L. D. And Agent Carter as well! They are some of my favorites and you get to enjoy some familiar faces from the movies and learn more of their stories. It's such Fun! I'm excited to go on this journey with you!😊
SO HAPPY that you're excited for this journey and are sticking around for more!!!! We would love to check out those as well! That would be awesome to see :) Thank you so much for watching! Next up, The Incredible Hulk!
This is a perfect example of a movie using cutting edge technology for its time. The Mark 1:Iron Man suit was completely practical. With a welders type jacket under the metal. It needed to withstand heat due to the flamethrowers. All the subsequent versions of armor are all CGI effects. 😅 Good spot. That was indeed Stan " The Man" Lee. He has cameos in most of the Marvel movies up to phase four. It's a nice little Easter egg in each movie. Kind of a where's Stan Lee in this movie...lol. Stan the main idea guy at Marvel Comics. He was a writer, editor, editor in chief and publisher for Marvel over his career. He then went on to consult for Marvel for the cinema...bringing Marvel characters to the big screen.

Hey David!! thank you so much for being here to enjoy these with us!
Well, that or Darth Vader, depends on my mood. ;-)
lol! Love that hahaha!
The MCU departed from the comics in two very distinct ways. One, MOST heroes abandon the idea of secret identities. That was the outcome of Tony’s revelation. Two, as a certain redhead puts it in a future film, “We don’t want to kill you, but we will.”
In the comics, they don’t kill.
That is not the case in the MCU. You’ll see.
More grounded in this way than people expect.
Oh interesting! Thank you for sharing that with us!!!
Have fun!
Thank you so much for enjoying these movies with us! We cannot wait for what’s to come!!!! ❤
Glad to have found this today, sad to hear it's called Marvel Mondays but I have to wait till Tuesdays to see em... 😭😅
Awwww! Our reaction to The Incredible Hulk will be on our channel in 1 hour! 🎉❤😊
@tktopmovies unfortunately that's very close to midnight here in mainland Europe haha, heading off to bed now but at least I'll have something to look forward to in the morning! 😁
@@dutchdaddygamer chat with you soon!!!! Have a good night! 🌙
Tony Stark, Happy and cheeseburgers 😭😭
LOL! What a guy!!!
This is going to be fun! Next up: The Incredible Hulk (2008)
starring Edward Norton.
😁🍿
Can't wait for Monday! Thanks for watching with us :)
Oh man, here we go!!!
Wooohooo let's goooooo! :)
The vast majority of the Infinity Saga is amazeballs!
Enjoy the ride.
I’m totally going to dig watching it with ya!
Thank you so so so much for being here to enjoy with us! We appreciate it :)
This is bringing me back to the days when there would be months between awesome Marvel releases. Any interest in doing shorts about prediction/anticipation for the next movie? Maybe a little theorycrafting as the overarching plot takes shape?
That is a really cool idea! Thank you for that suggestion!!!
Ooh cool time to subscribe then, joining in just in time!
Yay! So glad you're here!! You're right on time! Thanks for watching with us :)
This was an absolute great reaction. I can't wait to follow your MCU journey.
Thank you so much Denny! That means so much to us!!!!
I know that it’s a large undertaking, however I would appreciate and definitely watch your reactions to Phases 1-3 in order of release.
Yessss! We are watching Marvel movies every Monday at 6pm EST in release order! Looking forward to The Incredible Hulk on Monday! :)
That was a good, enthusiastic, reaction. Welcome to your first steps along this massive MCU journey. I'm here for it.
Thank you so much for joining us here and enjoying!! We cannot wait for what's to come :)
Thank you so much for being here for this journey! We are pumped!! Iron Man was awesome!
Just letting you know that the Spiderman movies you talked about in the intro are NOT part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. They are their own universe. However, down the line you will have to watch them, along with several for reasons I cannot disclose.
Oh thanks for that info!! :)
Hogan ( Jon Favreau ) that played Starks limo driver was actually the director of the movie. He fought hard to get Robert Downey to be able to play this role. The studio didn't want Downey because of his at that time recent scandals. To say the least Downey made the most of it.
SO SO SO happy he was chosen for that role!
@@tktopmovies I'm just a Marvel nerd. Glad to see you are enjoying it so far. There's alot of fun awaiting you. Especially once the Marvel Universe begins to expand for you. Have fun you 2
I always love watching people start this journey
Thanks for watching! We are pumped that you're here to enjoy these movies with us :)
“is this a horror movie!?” 😂😂😂
Love you guys
LOL!!! All the love!!
Just a reminder: when you reach the first Avengers movie, that one and some movies after that will have more than one credit scene.
Welcome to the circus!
Oh more than one?! That's good to know! Thank you!!!
His jealousy totally took over and made him the villian! Ugh!!
This is where the fun begins :D Also I should probably add that Spider-Man 1-2-3 staring Toby Maguire Is actually Sony and not Marvel so technically you haven't seen any Marvel movies yet I cant wait to see the other reactions!
John, you're the best! And woah, I didn't realize that was Sony! Good to know!!!
Awesome journey you have just embarqued in! ❤ Its gonna be so much fun. As a fan of marvel movies I have some recommendations:
These are awesome tips!! Thank you very much, we appreciate these! :)
All the way until his death, Stan Lee made a cameo in every Marvel movie except for maybe one I think.
Wow that is so cool!!! Love how he is incorporated in that way! That's special and fun!
And the looong journey begins, but an amazing one! can’t wait for you to eventually get to the disney+ shows as they are some of my favourites
Thanks for being here to enjoy the journey, Hailee!! We appreciate it :)
Just found your channel, you 2 are awesome 😎 I SUB'd
Thank you so much for being here!!! (:
The original origin story took place in Viet Nam. I had the comic book until my Grandmother threw is away when cleaning 10 years later.
Threw them away?! 😭😭😭 oh Grandma!
You're the best, Corinne!!!! Thanks for all of the love! This movie was awesome!! What a complete change Tony made for his life during this movie! Robert Downey Jr. is a fantastic actor!!!! Thank you for watching and going on this journey with us! :)

4:02 Tony Stark intro music is from the 1966 Iron Man cartoon. ua-cam.com/video/P1-EaWvLwp4/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared
Oh wow!! That's a really cool way to respect and incorporate that into this movie!! Thanks for sharing that with us :)
Hi Ty and Katie! I couldn't have asked for a better reaction for your introduction to Ironman! It just gets better from here!
Yay! I'm definitely along for the ride! ❤😊
Everyone neglects to watch the Hulk before watching The Incredible Hulk. Then they are confused because it's not an origin story.
Iron Man is great. So are the first 2 Blade movies.
Ooooh, we've never seen those! Thanks for the recommendation!
The best way to kickoff the MCU. 10/10.
Thank you for watching!! We appreciate it! :)
Thrilled you guys are starting this… it’s quite the adventure
Wooohoooo! Bring it on! We are so pumped for this journey! Next up, The Incredible Hulk! :)
Love the energy)
Thank you so much!! ❤
This is still my favorite MCU film. This is a superior film, if one considers its dramatic elements and character development. And it ROCKS.
This totally did rock!!!! We loved it too!! Thanks for enjoying with us!
This is a perfect example of a movie using cutting edge technology for its time. The Mark 1:Iron Man suit was completely practical. With a welders type jacket under the metal. It needed to withstand heat due to the flamethrowers. All the subsequent versions of armor are all CGI effects. 😅
Good spot.
LOVE that Stan has cameos! That is so great to hear that he's incorporated in each movie!!
Im new i love marvel seen all the movies and tv shows. So im here for this. Enjoy the ride
"TONY STARK WAS ABLE TO BUILD THIS IN A CAVE!
WITH A BOX OF SCRAPS!"
WITH A BOX OF SCRAPS hahahaha!
@tktopmovies "I'm not Tony Stark" actor is pretty famous as a child actor, do you recognize him?? Hint: you'll shoot your eye out!
