Wednesday 08/20/2014 James Levine, music director and conductor for the Metropolitan Opera, returns after missing two seasons due to a spinal cord injury.
I feel the same way, although I have certainly not been able to attend opera-performances (with James Levine) at the MET as often as you. But all performances (with one exception) were great and most wonderful! Also the concerts in Munich and Parsifal in Bayreuth. Thank you dear great maestro James Levine !!!
Big thanks for sharing these 2 wonderful interviews. I miss them both.
RIP, Maestro Levine ! Thank you for all the great performances in NYC I was privileged to
attend. I will never forget you 💔
No need for that: plenty of Levine videos can inspire you when working your instrument.
@@snortedthelot7429 I am not averse to a battle of wits, but I wouldn’t want to engage an unarmed man. Bye, kid 👋🏻

Ohh Jim, we miss you and your Art so much!🙏🎼
GREAT maestro (זייל)
A great musician indeed. But not a great human being.
@@schrire39 The Bible tells us what was wrong with Levine.
Why should we look at just his sexuality,as we are all sexual beings.!and not see his genius !,!,,,

Levine died in ignominy on March 9th, 2021 - Disgraced and unrepentant.
He was never convicted of any crime. How do you know he had something to repent for ? The press ? Yeah, they are so reliable ... 🙄
@@spind The press? How about the MET paying him 3,5 million. You think they paid that because he was so bloody innocent?
@@snoopcat5745 They paid him because the Met’s investigative report didn’t look very convincing in court - it was based mostly on hearsay.
