Im excited for a patch. Im not a fan of all these OTK/uninteractive decks
They are still going to be here mate. Going play MTG.
We need more OTK, cause its fun. Who needs to play those 40min games, when u can win on 6th turn

Who would've thought that the cards that get mana cheat are broken?
It’s super hilarious that they removed Wild Growth because ramping is OP.
And then this.. hahaha fuck, man. Haha.
@@bluesh0es ye and now see how useful druid is without ramp
blizzard trolling hard
Too much healing, too much card draw, too much RNG and mana means nothing.
Too much mana scam. Too high stats. Too much board clear. Too many overpowered effects.
Too much everything.
So nerf the whole game by removing it?😂
@@KayGeee86 Yes xD they should bring classic back xD
@@wiernyinaczej They did, no-one played it
@@Crawverexactly. The only thing there is too much of in hearthstone is bitching in the community from children.
What if Reno limited both sides? Like in a real duel? One vs One... I know it's a really big nerf, but isn't poofing everything good enough? (maybe poof EVERYTHING, like old Reno... dunno, but it just feels so bad to have your minions removed AND limited to a single space AND the opponent has everything.)
I came back with the anniversary event. And I'm honestly having more fun playing wild.
We literally need mass card reworks, not just nerfs.
There is so many broken cards, if you nerf 10-15 meta cards now, there is 50 other OP cards waiting to be in meta.
I’ve been saying this for a long time. No matter what people complain about and no matter how much they need stuff, there will always be something busted and stupid to take it’s place. Just leave it alone ffs
Right after they announced dh nerfed I was not excited in the least bit because that just opened up 3 more stupid decks to take its place
I would actually change Reno so that it instead of just removing opponents board it should clear the whole board and limit both players to one minion slot making it a real stand-off
I will say this until the day I die. Hearthstone should implement a general rule (similar to echo) that all mana reduction should be "no less than 1" (except cards that specifically reduce to 0 mana).
This would fix sooooo many issues, our current meta, it would have fixed past metas, and it would fix so many future problems.
Please, we’ve had enough 0 mana vomit your hand for too long now. It’s time.
I really do hope they make Reno based on starting deck. Takes Reno away from decks that shouldn’t be using him and makes it playable against plagues.
I still believe plagues disrupting every Highlander deck is a problem. I don't play it due to the chance you run into a DK.
Plagues suck. Reno and bran are way too op to not have a counter
@kaloyanivanov885 Play Dirty rat. Plagues also kill Highlander shaman and hunter which don't have Brann.
I'd rather we all play Reno long games than this sht.
Reno is just so sofacting if the game last long enought.
I preffer plagues to a game of chicken once I hit 8 mana.
@@Chris-xb5ii yeah, that's why they're entirely unplayable. Hunter also can't run Rat, as it lacks hard removal, only classes that have hard removal can run Rat.
Warrior is just so good, that it can still statcheck you and remove all your guys, even if you shut off the highlander cards. It's like "oh no! my Boom only summoned TTWO giant zilliax!"
Shaman and Hunter lose their stabalising effects, taunt frogs for Shaman and Theldurin for hunter, once they get plagued. Warrior does not and most of it's boardwipes and stat dumping is still fine.
Honestly, my only gripe with Mass Nerfs would be that they'd only target Standard. They are 100% a necessary thing to happen, but I'd like them to take the same approach for Wild, if they ever were to go through with mass nerfs.
Couldn’t agree more. There’s too many reset the game cards. Too many board clears, too many heal half health with 1-2 cards, and too many otks. I like all these suggestions. The first 4 turns need to matter again.
Ya Zilliax being pretty much untouchable is really annoying. Even if you do kill it, it has reborn and comes right back.
and just make it not a mech please, like most titans (if not all) do not have a type because that would introduce bs mechanics. Well guess what the only reason rogue zilliax works is because they can near endlessly stealth it
I think for what zilliax is he has to be a mech. They should probably nerf the magnetic stealth card as well
Literally the only way as a death knight player is headless horseman + threads of despair, only way I can ever kill it and I have to get lucky to get the right cards, lose to it half the time cause I can never get anything to destroy it/reset it
@@idkanymore591 Yea half the time i have to keep headless horseman vs rogue but even that is too slow sometimes. Either that or they play miracle rogue and its entirely too slow for that...
he needs to be changed to "stealth until next turn", bare minimum.
Shoplifter goldbeard could be 4 mana 5/4 and still wouldn't see that much of a play. I want to know what were they smoking while designing this.
His stats are horrible too. Like Mr. Smite was originally 6 mana 6/5, and he is 6 mana 5/5. This is just looks dumb.
First legendary I got from this expansion, immediately disenchanted it, no regrets lmao
Hemet too in hunter, you could -2 his cost (and change stats to compensate) and I'm still not sure he'd see play.
Sometimes it's not about cost, the effect is just... wrong.
@@Bladius_ I think he would see play in 3 mana like this 3 mana spell that gives death rattle. Fill your hand with a discounted beasts is not that bad if it cheap and effective
Every class needing a nerf EXCEPT druid???
My how times change.
I think biggest mistake is focusing on keeping games at 7 turns, it should be 10-12 because it means you’re interacting with someone’s board for longer and there’s more room for counter play
I would make Zarimi based on Mana spent on Dragons instead of summon count which would guarantee a more consistent timeline for playing it.
mine rogue in Wild is the worst of the worst. and yes, I am also in the "nerf everything" camp for Standard and Wild. Both modes are out of control
They're in no hurry to Nerf Waygate. The deck on HS replay is 30,000 dust. If that's not a resource dump, I don't know what is
Many wild players have been playing for years so just have most of those cards anyway
@@Thelius42 that's not how you economize wild. You want your long-term players to become incentivized to use their resources. And once you have conquered standard, what's the next step?
@@MrFluffums123 The thing is there's also long term players that don't touch wild because they know it's full of BS and just don't want to deal with it. I'm one of them.
@@sirlancealot9996 so there are thise who don't want to, which are you, and those who do, that will spend the dust to get a broken deck
I dont agree with buff. Nerfing good cards are effectively buffing other cards. if you need buff, start with yeti and ogre. or else if you accidental buff cards to OP, you need to nerf it again.
Honestly I don't think nerfing a lot of the cards are going to fix anything, they need to add more interactivity to things. Like no way to play around Brann, Odin, my whole deck and hand and board being destroyed, being limited to one board space, Warlock having a board of 5/5s, 8/8s and 15/15s, a permanent stealth elusive reborn minion that gets stronger and stronger, a free Zilliax that buffs your whole board of tokens, tendrils playing exclusively strong spells that win you the game if you play enough of them, Priest having an extra turn, Hunter being impossible to board clear due to the insane amount of minions it can spit out and then buff and then punish you for killing them with saddle up, Demon Hunter threatening lethal turn 3/4 and then playing dormant minions you can't do anything about that clear your board and burn your face, most Titans instantly swinging a game in one person's favor just by being played, plague shutting down half the archetypes in the game and making it inevitable they win if you don't kill them in time and creating a lead you can't come back from if you draw bad early, Sif and Shaman essentially passing their turns until they can kill you from hand, Paladin healing more than most decks can deal with until they kill you with a buffed up army.
The game doesn't feel like a back and forth anymore, it feels like a race to get to your fucked up win con, or killing them faster than they can do it. there's essentially 0 counterplay to anything right now, you have Dirty Rat which is an unhealthy coin flip that either ends up losing you the game instantly or getting rid of their win condition. We seriously need more interaction in this game and I don't mean adding 50 more board clears.
We live in a Bizzare parallel world where Druid is the only class not scamming people.
mage excavate cards or its no minion cards are absolute necessary to make them more viable, specially the no minion mage.
Ladder feels bad at the moment. Every deck have some kind of scam or frustrating mechanic, no deck feels "honest".
Hunter will spam the board with beast and go face (it's actually the less scammy of all),
priest will play 40/40 worth of stats then take another turn to kill you,
warlock summon a 15/15, doubled with the location, and put you on a clock at turn 8
Warrior delete your deck,
DK (all of them) put a million plagues in your decks
"Honest" deck are pushed out of the meta.
Plagues in a Hearthstone format where they try to introduce highlander strategies is beyond reason for me. Make ALL the highlsnder specific cards say "at the start" or bring back Steamcleaner, puting duplicates in your op deck so easely is toxic af
Honestly, anything that messes with your opponents deck and hand is super toxic.
Theotar was insanely stupid. The Proest deck that just steals everything or even copies everything is also just fucking retarded.
Sorry for the strong words. This effect really bothers me.
making steamcleaner core is the way to go
Yeah I prefer steamcleaner. “There’s no counter play to plagues” is somehow a fine argument but “there’s no counter play to Reno” is blasphemy
Indeed!
Why does everyone want to nerf Mage? The class has been ass for a year and a half.
Leave it be to suffer along until it sees some love again.
In wild mage is the worst. Both quest and secret mage are awful to play against, besides from power levels
Sif mage was not ass for a year and half, what game have you been playing?
It's not great right now, sure, but Sif mage is one of the decks where if the meta slows down just enough, it won't just be good it will very likely be oppressive.
Sif mage unfun to play against , eventou is low winrate
If you lose to sif mage atm, you deserve it, they don’t have great tools and all you need to do is put down threats
I'm at this weird spot in wild playing with spell/sif mage where I either win with 60+ health+armor or die on the 6th-7th turn and there's not really any in between.
This is a lot of deck right now, games are super "spiky" and lack any real back and forth usually.
Token hunter is "I kill you before you do anything" or "I never stick a single minion and do nothing", no in between.
hey, remember when zeddy said that the wheel of death is a F class card?
The biggest issue is to many board clears, but they did it because content creators cried for more control decks.
If cards cant cost less than one alot of manacheat is fixed
I made an OTK (it's the meta) Wish upon a star deck and have been using it from Bronze 10 to currently Diamond 6, and yes the card is absolutely insane. Be careful about what you'd like to see buffed in shaman lol.
Do you use it with shudderblock + hagatha or just on its own?
do you have a deck code i unpacked a signature hagatha and have not had a chance to play with her

Don't get too fixated on getting hagatha and shudderblock combo, you only need it against armor heavy decks or maw-paw DK. Save one shudderblock for the al'akir/tailor turn.
Other than that it's mainly just removal to help you survive. 7/10 times you'll be fine to play wish upon even as a do-nothing spell.
Take it for a spin in casual, hope you'll have fun, only deck that made me enjoy the current meta
You complains about plauge, but in the next breath will complain about reno. The data does not support a nerf to plagues, just liek it didn't support a nerf to ticketus when he was around.
Plagues have locked highlander decks out of the meta since they have existed and will do so the entire time they are both in standard if plagues aren’t changed or nerfed somehow. People want to play those archetypes.
Highlander decks in wild have cleaner, in standard as long as Reno exist plague will be a necesity.
@@calebwilkie2200 Not a power problem it’s Blizzard’s problem for not realizing that Steam Cleaner was rotating my guess is that we get a card in the mini set that will do something similar to steam cleaner
We need renathal in the core set to help balance all of this nonsense
Try to play wild. Just try it. Play normal not Renathal game. You would hate this game and Renathal by the end of a day. Every Renathal Reno deck would play Zeph not later than turn 4 Reno turn 6 and Reno turn 8. And mage would even take another 20 turns after Reno on turn 8. Just try it. Standart is in bliss after they took this shit out in wild
The reason Renethal was originally nerfed was because of the slow meta decks, now games end by turn 5 like blizzard really gives a **** about this and the reworked quests are basically incomplete to this meta.
renathal in core set is not the answer lmao
I just want the mini set announcement.
Like where is the Death Knight spirit from rumble expansion. Demon Hunter got one.
They both got spellstones, it's only fair every class gets a spirit.
Not less than one should be attached to every mana reduction card. It happens every time with mana reduction cards that people start casting free crap and it goes broken.
Before I start I want to admit that as a DK Main I am very biased towards the DK cards and the suggested nerfs and I feel like DK should only get some hits. But I want to share my opinion on the suggestions.
Threads of Despair: Its a good board clear especially comparing to Defile. But it is defenitely not as good/reliant as others make it, especially not as good and reliant as Twisting Nether. Despair needs a set up or a combo like adding Corpse Rotation, Mining Casualties or Hero Power which makes it more of a 3/4 mana board clear most of the time anyway.
Despair to 2 mana seems ok.
Acolyte of Death: Zeddy only mentions this card with the short comment that "it draws too many cards" but in my opinion DK biggest struggle right now is reliant/good card draw. Sure with Corpse Rotation or Army of the Dead it draws a bunge of cards but if you dont have the combo in hand or need them for board control DK looses on Card Advantage really fast.
Sickly Grimewalker: I can see that it makes a good board clear but this card is also reliant on combo but I would rather see Grimewalker go up by 1 mana than a change to Acolyte of Death.
Helya: I can get the frustration with plagues especially after Steam Cleaner gone but without any buffs to non-plague-related-cards the suggested nerf to Helya would put DK into a very tough spot because plague is the only good archetype DK has right now. Adding back Steam Cleaner to the Core Set would be my suggestion.
Conclusion:
DK is very reliant on combos and has not the best card draw right now. In comparison to all the other Scam-, OTK- and Hyper-Aggro-Decks, DK seems not nearly as problematic. But I admit that DK has some strong and problematic cards. So I can see some nerfs to DK (when there are major nerfs to every class) but it also needs buffs to other cards that are not plague-related.
Yeah, I'm confused about Zeddy's comments on DK.
I've literally never had anyone play Threads against me and using it myself as a DK main running a jank homebrew "Control" deck it often doesn't work very well unless you combo with either Sickly Grimewalker or Crop Rotation (At which point it's like a 4-6 mana board wipe using 2 cards. Paladin had Equality + Consecration/Wild Pyro for literally ever)
Acolyte of Death is also kind of mediocre outside of combo with Crop Rotation.
Sickly Grimewalker is mostly reliant on Crop Rotation to clear a few things. Otherwise it's just a bad Asphyxiate for 5 mana (When using hero power).
Essentially Crop Rotation is the only thing making these cards playable and you only get 2 copies of that card (IF you draw them...)
And yeah, while Helya is a prime candidate for a nerf for sentiment reasons, without it DK is just useless right now. Blood has no win con (Not that it would matter as it would auto-lose to Wheel, Odyn, Sif, Nature Shaman, Brann, Token Hunter...), Unholy has no minions after all the good ones rotated, Frost is just bad. Outside of Plague all DK has is handbuff which is entirely reliant on Puppeteer and is inconsistent.
@@tarille1043 glad to hear I am not the only one that feels this way about DK.
Hndbuff can be pretty strong but as you said its to reliant on puppeteer and inconsistent as well as too slow.
If they nerf a lot of the oppresive stuff the meta maybe slows down enough and Handbuff might be able to be the next oppressive/strong DK deck but I wouldn't nerf it preamptively
off topic question, I just opened forest warden Omu, is she good in wild?
I dont see her much played in wild but its wild, so all is fair game
@@KhaledIron thanks :)
It was time for mass nerfs back in sunken city yet there we're none. Things have just escalated out of control now. It's what happens when you barely maintain your game.
Maybe make miracle salesman shuffle instead of adding to hand?
This is the only change I’d like to see
Make wheel take 1 turn longer, increase base health to 40, put manathirst 7 on zarimi. Zilliax has 2 turns of stealth.
Aint that hard now is it so what in the fuck are the devs doing in there
I just started playing again.
What is a Scam deck?
Is OTK - one turn kill?
Out of the meta decks, which are cheapest to make after I finish my loaner deck?
Thanks for the video
Imagine having aggro deck. You build up and prepare for attack. Opponent just plays one invisible card which doubles its attack at the start od a turn, clears you and two turns later destroy you.
Rogue can have an entire board of 8/8 minions on like turn 5
I'm not good at explaining but i will try to explain
OTK - One Turn Kill basically decks that relly on some kind of combo to kill opponent in one turn ( example: sif mage, Zarimi Priest ).
Scam deck are little harder for me to explain but (by my definition) it's a deck that use unintentional design of the game for their advantage ( example: Zilliax rouge, Tendrill shaman/warrior, Window Shopper DH)
And out of meta deck right now i will probably say spell token hunter even if it's not the cheapest deck to craft because you need to craft zilliax and hunter titan but these legendaries are very solid and probably will be in every deck because of how versitale zilliax is and how strong titan is. But from what I remember you can choose one loaner deck to keep ( I might be wrong) and i think plauge DK will be solid choice as you get reska, primus and helya which on it's own is solid deck not completly meta but legendaries are strong
@@lordziasty3038 Window Shopper was intentional, lol.
@@shrekkek9396 The unintentional thing i was taking about was Discovery pool being so small that maghteridon is almost guaranteed not window shopper + weapon combo ( I assume you're talking about that )
I disagree with the hate boner for threads of despair. You literally always have to spend more than 1 mana to use it, and as a result if it got increased it would get wayyyy worse. There are also plenty of instances where it doesn’t do enough even with another card. 6 mana for a symmetrical board clear with a grimewalker is nowhere near the reason this meta sucks. It’s literally the only deck that can even handle aggro right now BECAUSE of threads. Like it’s also a pretty low tier 2 deck. I don’t think the only “fair” control deck that exists in the entire game right now should be nerfed. I’ll be very disappointed and probably not play for a while if they do.
I would like to see a buff to spell mage as well. The galatic projetion orbe is such a cool card but the deck is so bad right now
I use it in a reno Highlander mage deck, really fun deck and can compete with most decks, apart from Plague DK which I win 30%, just a shame in the 80 games I've played with it 35 games have been vs Plague DK. The Frost plague just always seem to be generated most and always when I have an answer to their board or something to slow them, out pops the frost plague and game over.
Hopefully the mini set has a new version of steamcleaner, I haven't played standard in weeks. I went to wild to actually have strategies and counters
Its crazy how runaway mana cheating is in this set where Celestial Projectionist has gone from a niche meta card to tier 1 scam fuel.
If you nerf helya, you also need to nerf brann. Hard nerf. Not mana cost nerf.
Lol
Reno is so fucking busted. I love Odyn warrior, and used to play it without Reno, but I juet have to. The card is so insane and everyone is running it. Just not having it in your deck highalnder or not makes you lose to an other deck with reno. I mean holy shit, the card effect, insane. The 8 mana cost, insane. And the fucking hero power, insane.
Most games end pre turn 8.. so not that good
Maybe in plat
10 years of playing Hearthstone f2p and he is literally the ONLY legendary I've felt compelled to craft. If you think Reno is in any way remotely balanced I honestly have no idea what reality you're living in. He's obscene.
Reno is busted, by design as a payoff for building an inefficient deck, but a big issue right now is Warrior itself. The deck doesn't even NEED Reno, it's just running it as insurance and because the payoff from Brann is too high not too. The highlander warrior just has so many good statcheck and removal cards though that bricking your Reno/Brann isn't even game ending, it just makes it harder to win; every other highlander auto-loses with no way to remove them.
The fact it's the ONLY meta viable highlander deck in the face of plagues, tells you all you need to know.
Plagues need toning down for sure, namely Helya needs to only make HER plagues permanent.
But with that change, Brann also needs to be changed to "your FIRST battlecry each turn", which isn't a huge nerf but does rein him in some.
Odyn might still be too good once other stuff gets hit, and probably needs to only gain attack from the first 2 or 3 armor gains a turn, so he's a 2HKO instead of a OTK.
Reno could probably go to 9, and still be fine too.
I think there are big problem - only live decks is: OTK cheaters or hyper rush, which kills 4-6 turn, and there are no other type of decks. And main problem of game - when you pick deck like warrior - u'll never see other warrior mirror, but then pick mage or DH - you will play only with warriors. They need to change matchmaking, to make it more interesting
Wish reno would also make you chose one Minion/location on your side of the board so that reno actually functions as intended. Its a High Noon not a damn Pedestrian Zone.
One of Renos Minions/location against one of the Opponents minions.
TLDR Reno removes all Minions/Locations except for one of his choice
But the flavor is that it's "against him", not against his minion.

I'm still completely shocked that they only nerfed 1 card in the latest balance patch. Do they enjoy watching us suffer? Or was it just pure laziness?
you are right the patches updates are jokes to the community dont play standard play duo only
That was more of a hotfix then a concerted patch. Just to bring DH back down to earth. And since the only really broken thing in DH is the Umpire's Grasp/Dancer combo, they slowed it down by a turn.
@QwertzQwertz-hs5fn people would rather just complain constantly I noticed.
How do you expect them to work so much? It's just a small indie company after all...
Wasn't a balance patch, it was more of a hotfix because DH was out of control compared to anything else.
For the Reno change you suggested there could also be an indicator that let's the opponent know Reno is in the deck.
This change is a buff and a nerf to the right places simultaneously.
Decks that abuse strong card duplicates to later have access to Reno isn't healthy for the game.
I feel like the players complain about every meta I've seen players comlain about slow meta around titans time and now I'm seeing them complain about fast meta
Slow titans meta?
@@shadowpriest2574 yes before yogg unleashed there was only one aggressive deck that is arcane hunter but that's just hunter doing hunter stuff the rest was just control and late game combo decks

I don't play the game anymore, but I still love watching it. But I'm a bit worried we're going to have a year without many control decks until Wheel of Death rotates. Hope i'm wrong, but man it seems like such a crazy counter to ALL slow decks.
Wheel is imo the most stupid card ever🤦♂️ How is that fun?
It’s healthy though, because stuff like warrior has too many clears, so that’s a counter potentially
Slow decks should not be a thing. Limiting games to 13 turns is a good thing.
@@KayGeee86 It were fun. Funnier then tring to break through 60 armor.
@@shrekkek9396 Definitely not, any game less than 13 turns is a bad thing
I think Wheel should not be able to be cheated with the Weapon or shuffeling cards in your deck. You play this unfun card, you gotta take the fatigue dmg. Odyn also needs to be hit and change his effect to "next turn" instead of "for the rest of the game". Else controll and Value will never see play if Warlock and Warrior are allowed to win every matchup for free with those cards.
My solution to the Highlander problem is to split them into 2 categories. 1. If your deck started with no duplicates, and 2. If your deck has no duplicates. I would generally put all Neutral Highlander cards into Category #1 and all class cards into #2. The only exception I would make is splitting up Reno, Lone Ranger (#1) and Zephers (#2) since those 2 are by far the most powerful Highlander neutrals.
This will alleviate most of the shennagins where players are trying to a.) completely disable their opponent's deck (plagues) or b.) having a player fast draw through their deck (Druid not so long ago) or c.) having a player shuffle something positive into their deck (bleeds) and still getting highlander benefits that they shouldn't. The design team needs to do more so that decks just do not auto-beat other deck archetypes.
Zeddy makes a good point that often gets overlooked, but the board clears are too strong. I would also add single target removals. If you go board, it has to be super aggressive, because most classes have very cheap and effective removal. There hasn't been a proper competitive mid range deck for ages.
Helya needs to go to double unholy and threads of despair double blood. DK is completely useless with 2 of any one rune excluding pure plagues which is even still trash. Gives creativity
I just want Goldbeard buffed. I've been loving playing my pirate Rogue deck, but its Legendary feels terrible at 6.
If team 5 is struggling to make decent humane changes to quests , what makes you think they are gonna sit down on this one? Lmao
“It’s not a fun playstyle, having to run techs and that” zeddy what kind of deck do you enjoy isn’t that like what you want to have in a control deck isn’t this why people were begging for the tradeables to stick around
Zarimi should be at least 10 dragons maybe even 15 considering the dragon generator
For hunter, the set failed on a few things. The aggro deck is great, no doubt, but big hunter is very mid. They can't exactly buff King Plush because the card is very good; maybe the Toyranosaurus or the egg need a buff.
Hemet, as I predicted and was told I was over-reacting, is entirely unplayable. He needs to be dropped two mana and have his stats nerfed to compete. The card is another example of Blizzard saying "look hunter, value!" but then not supporting it in anyway and leaving it to waste slots in our releases. It's a complete failure of a card, who needs you to go wide, then instead of killing your opponent, wants you to value trade your board away; that is not happening in hunter unless you REALLY bribe us. If you compare him to wishing well (already not very good), the cost the trigger it and the payout, it's actually laughable how bad Hemet is.
Jungle gym to 2 uses is semi-resonable I think, hunter isn't doing anything too unfair so there are no standout cards, it's just a pile of fair "play guy and hit face" stuff, but might get a BIT too much face burn from the gym right now.
I think the Zilliax "reduced cost per minion" module could stomach another nerf; either +1 cost or only have it count only the player's minions and readjust it from there.
Best part about the overheal issue with Funnel Cake? It triggers the quest “thank you healer” if someone else uses it!
What do you all think about just buffing all of the old stuff to be more in line with the stuff we have now after nerfing for the current meta
For hunter observer of myths seems like an obvious hit? Its insane value and can snowball super fast.
I think it needs to go to 3 health. Makes it much easier to deal with than the awkward 4 hp
I think Helya should easily be 2 Unholy aside from other changes, maybe swap with one of the other plague cards. The Rune requirement on her being lower than on weaker plague cards is just silly deck-pushing rather than balanced card design.
"If your deck STARTED with no duplicates" is an awesome idea! And not just for the Reno hero card, but for any and all highlander cards. In Wild, Zephrys in particular still pops up in way more non-highlander decks than it should, as an extra finisher (or an Ice Block "tech"/hate card). Changing the requirement for the highlander mechanic as a whole would be great for now and for future metas in Wild too.
I also want Goldbeard buffed. I have him golden. Can’t disenchant… it’s golden goldbeard.
Edit: make the first nature spell next turn cost 1 less. Simple.
Final edit: great stuff with Reno. That change would be amazing.
i feel like steamcleaner (when it's paired with e.t.c till he leaves too) leaving is a big issue. hopefully they think of something smoother with the expansion or next season
The problem is, if the kill Sif mage, Zarimi, Nature shaman, those classes better be delited from the game as well, because they don't have any deck archetype you can play. Sad but true.
to counter shaman i need to use every single teck card
In my opinion they should bring Loatheb back to standard. Its not a perfect solution but can help give you another turn. For Druid, i think they should bring back Darnassus Aspirant and Arbor Up. It can help with some ramp that isnt dragons and allow them to fight for board since they dont really have much right now in either minions or spells. I actually think just one mana increase on Staff of the Primus and Distressed Kvaldir could really slow down Death Knight so their curve isnt perfect from turn 1. I miss a time in Hearthstone where there was thought involved in each turn. For example do I ramp and possibly take a ton of damage or do I play removal. Do I draw trade or go face because that 1 dmg might make a difference. It just feels like its now play card and go face or play "solitare" and do the same thing over and over with no variance.
In my mind the biggest outliers are warrior and warlock, and plagues need a giga-nerf. There is so much removal and endless value for these classes. Hunter is number 1 but they feel fair to play against to me, it's a more board-centric strategy rather than warlock and warrior playing solitaire.
Can Zilliax get nerfed by changing the Elusive module? Even though Mech Rogue is not top tier, but it’s super annoying to face against since barely any deck could clear it…
The crazy thing is it isn't like this is a 6 set meta about to rotate this is a bare bones 4 set meta meaning without nerfs it will only get way worse cause they need every expansion to be stronger then the last.
The Sef and Salesman nerf would kill rainbow mage, which may be your intention, but mage wouldnt have a deck left
The no minion package definitely needs a buff, I'm hoping they get some tools in the miniset
It would be a big fix but I think a lot of nerfs for the broken cards and enablers and small buffs to cards that need them would fix the game. For me tigress plushy back to 3 mana but with 2 attack would help paladin a lot
Weird... all aggro and mana cheat... exactly as i said in the reveal season. Blizzard wants games to end on turn 5 either by aggro winning or aggro quitting when they realize you stabilized. I won't be convinced otherwise until they make changes. And the upcoming nerfs... yep... reno and zarini. Reno, the best control card, and zarini a card that's only good on, like turn 12. Yeah... those are the issues.
I feel like helya should be a double plague card, it just feels weird that it isn't. If you want to use infinite plagues as a win condition, shouldn't you be a little more devoted to the rune than 1?
In wild even totem shaman is also a Big Big nerf candidate, for me Even worse then zarimi
these would be good changes and i agree to all of them. Plague DK is toxic but atleast feels sort of fair. The scam decks on the other hand take the whole fun out of the game it is all decided by turn 5-6...
It is fucking insane, that the game is so broken that Plagues seem fair. Lmao.
I feel like they really need to dial back on mana cheating and random RNG stuff. Mana barely matters at all nowadays, since all the fantastic cards and combos are so cheap to play, or the deck cheats mass mana anyways. A big part of that is them just slapping a discover/copy effect on every other card. This is also very noticable in Arena. Nobody ever runs out of cards anymore. It also dumbs the game down A LOT, since people are just throwing cards on the board at random and hope they get lucky. It feels like decisions don't matter at lot of the time, same with that Ziliax Rogue deck for example. I'm with Zeddy, slow the game down and make people use their brains for a change.
As someone who's moved on to Wild since Standard is a cesspool... Zarimi could easily follow the quests. Double or triple the requirement... or just outright ban it (and anything else that gives you an extra turn).
I feel like this kinda goes to show that people do NOT know what’s best for themselves when they say “people want pretty short Hearthstone games” and “Rune restrictions are bad actually”. Short game sentiment leads design towards these faster combo/aggro decks and control decks like Odyn Warrior effectively being combo decks. While the notion of “rune payoff cards” in DK are undercut by most of the DK decks running universally amazing, low Rune commitment cards. It’s why the Plague Package is effectively modern Librams,
other cards that I think should get nerfed: Ship's Chirurgeon is absurd; Scale Replica for 2 is something Priest shouldn't have; Needlerock Totem and Lightning Reflexes are in my opinion even more problematic than Flash of Lightning - I think Shaman shouldn't have access to such efficient card draw and generation tools that allow you to consistently gather up enough combo pieces to OTK your opponent so early.
Good thing the deck i climb with isn't even on hsreplay lol. Love my homebrew warrior that's isn't reno, or odyn.
I'd like to see a Plague DK nerf before nerfing OTKs. Idk if it's just because Zeddy's experience is different to mine playing at legend Vs diamond, but I face fun and interactive Plague decks way more than I get OTKd
Is anyone having problems accessing the shop on Mac? Figured posting here might be better than dealing with blizzard.
Classes need more obvious weaknesses
I hate OTK. You just sit there with board clear after board clear until they get the stuff to knock you out. It forces you to play boring ultra aggressive DH or Hunter.
Tbh I feel like Hunter should be dialed back ever so slightly, but I also don't want a meta that's too slow. I think the current meta is too out of hand, but if the game actually did get mass nerfs, I feel like Hunter would be far too powerful if left untouched.
I’m playing Flash of lightning in Wild. . . the card is not work out at all for me. Emperor Tharissan seems much better . .but maybe my deck building skill aren’t up to standard.
I think Snake Oil could also be targeting minions only to not be crazy with Spell Damage OTKs, Reno should remove (but not lock) your board too to not be a one-sided game winner if board ever becomes relevant again and Brann's effect feels straight up too powerful to exist. I wouldn't complain if Brann said "Your Battlecry Minions have +1 Attack" at this point.
The thing about these devs is that they are designing the game around casual players, coz they know that's what brings the most amount of money, but there are two ways to go about it.
You can either:
A. Dumb down the entire game, so it becomes too fast and unfun for everyone, which they've been doing.
B. Make the game's core rules actually matter (the board, card draw, mana/health cost, removal etc.), but make the learning curve better for new players.
In current hearthstone, you don't need to worry about running out of cards, your combos being ruined, your opponent's cards being able to do anything.
Just put the block in the square hole and buy the newest pre-order/battlepass/bundle like a good lil boy
Wheel is working as intended.
Turn 1 is the one when its played + 4 more, 1+4 =5.
Why people keep missing that?
Other "in 5 turns" cards work different, they don't count 1st turn
@@silverloop9029 But its still a turn isnt it? I mean, how you can spend 8 mana in YOUR turn and not counting as a turn?? if it said "after the turn is activated destroy the enemy hero" then another conversation we would be happening.
@@ScaryMonkeey92 the point is that the opponent have only 4 turns to respond
If you look the druid 8/8 choose one summon card
Is 5 turn
Come a turn later than wheel
Is a big thread on the forum, you can read it for more details
I played some kind of Rogue Mech player. He seemed to be a master. Didn’t draw zilliax, but he didn’t board-up. Just put out one creature at a time and waited to buff it. I was going to have to beat him/kill his creatures one at a time. He was a master. He was ‘Lavabat’ or something. Can’t say if the match-up was slightly bad or I drew the wrong cards but he definitely won. It was an interesting strategy on his part.
Can we please revert that Doc Nerf? It's a bloody Highlander card and it's still nerfed and it's not that powerful.
Zeddy my love, while mentioning DK, I wish you would've added that it ruined arena. Every single season it's the best class in the game.
What’s priest suppose to do without Zarimi? I agree this card should be more expensive but priests’ alternatives are awful especially when it doesn’t have card draw outside of clergy.
Yea if it dont gain any buffs or nuked completely its gonna be a sad class
Yep. The only build that is currently viable for priest.
Higlander control priest with a reno heropower refresh mana otk wincon
Hero Power OTK priest
Automaton Priest
Overheal Priest
Thief Priest
There are options, with a few buffs and a slower meta they might be viable.
@@tarille1043how many times are we going to buff the bad cards and pray for a slower game that hasn’t existed since 2019
