I was a little salty at the beginning of this video, and just wanted to say sorry! I was more than a little frustrated, and vented needlessly! Sorry about that! I love making this stuff, but this day I was sick, tired, and frustrated with the system being used. Sorry, all of you come here for fun info about the game. Not me being salty!
Nah everyone would be salty too. Sadly blizzard didnt use this oppurtunity enough to bring more CC because duo would need a LOT of players and content creators.

Nothing wrong with a little salt. Just ask Zeddy, or Kripparian for that matter! ^^ Your frustration is perfectly understandable. Blizzard has never made it easy for people actively giving their games free advertisement, unfortunately.

Thanks a lot for your content and enthusiasm! For someone like me who is pretty casual about BGs, you're the best source of info.
I'm especially excited about the new Tier 6 Quillboar! Quillboar is by far my favorite tribe, but I had so many games where I'm struggling to get my blood gems to a decent enough buff. To me, this is basically an even better minion than the Tier 7 Sanguine Champion, because in the late game a Quillboar board benefits a lot more from Drakari than anything else anyways (plus being available in the shop instead of an occasional quest reward is a lot better, obv). Right now, rushing to Tier 6 just doesn't pay off with this tribe (unless you get the Tier 7). With this addition, you can get all the pieces from Tier 6. We're losing the sticky divine shield Tier 5 minion in the process, but that's more than worth the tradeoff.
Aside from that, the only other tribe I really like to play (and manage to win with somewhat consistently) is Undead, and it seems like they're not losing much and gaining a few cool options here as well. Sore Loser was always awkward to me, especially since it gives a buff that doesn't stick and it doesn't have deathrattle or reborn. All my best runs with Undead focus on deathrattle, reborn and permanent buffs. I agree with you about the gobbler too. Sometimes it's nice in the early game if I can feed him a cheap token generator like the tier 1 skeleton, but even then, he inevitably reaches a point where he's a 20/20 basically taking up two slots and costing 3 gold per further buff... I won't miss him!
I'm more ambivalent on most of the other tribes. A few of them that feel out of reach or not worth the effort in the current meta might become viable with the changes, like Naga, Mechs, Dragons and Elementals. It will depend a lot on how much cycling APM is required to make them work (I'll never be fast enough for that type of builds).
There are three tribes I hate facing and also dislike playing, as of now: Murlocs, Beasts and (to a lesser extent) Pirates. They all feel like cheating (or being cheated) to me, and they largely rely on sheer luck to get the best results (in the combat phase, I mean). Of course my minions never target the unprotected Banana Slamma on the far-right of my opponents' boards, not as long as there are 1/1s to generate and turn into 20/20s. But when I try my luck without a taunt somehow my opponents tend to snipe my key minion in the first couple of hits and it all falls apart. ^^ Pirates basically work exactly the same, except their tokens attack immediately instead of having taunt, so I feel roughly the same about it (at least it doesn't scale anywhere near as well or fast, so if I lose to that it's always early). Murlocs a lot more problematic, imho. I'm glad Poisonous got toned down with Venomous replacing it for the most part, but I still hate that mechanic, and murlocs have too many ways to abuse it to my taste. Scaling my minions the whole game and then losing them in one shot from a 5/5 my opponent just bought feels a lot worse than losing to their even bigger minions.
From this overview, it looks like Beasts will change drastically in the next meta, and I'm pretty glad about that. I'm a bit worried that Murloc didn't seem to lose much and there's even a risk they'll get even stronger with the new minions generating permanent buffs for their hand and board. Pirates don't look like they'll change much either, but I'm less concerned about them.
All in all, this looks cool. It will also be my first new meta without quests almost completely changing which heroes are good or even playable. I'm looking forward to that!
I totally get it, I've watched a few HS UA-camrs and I always come back to your videos. The quality is amazing, and you definitely deserve both the Blizzard content creator perks as well as more subs!
I definitly thought you had tens of thousands of subs, you're operating at a much higher caliber and Blizzard should recognize you like that :D
Also your April Fools Battlegrounds changes were less crazy than this, they're completely revamping it all o_O
Im so happy hawskstrider and banana slamma are gone. Beasts were so annoying this season and I love that they got wrecked. But I’m kinda sad my beloved master of realities had to go again. Great Video as always!

Yu'lon with Persistent Poet can be used to create targeted golden dragons that are permanent. Not a bad deal, I think. :)

Do you think Papa Bear (The Tier 7 Beast) will get a rework now that Mama Bear is removed from the game?
Hopefully the card always felt awkward and kinda bad for a tier 7 minion
I really wish it would. I know they want some cards to be weaker then others, but Papa Bear feels so much weaker then the other tier 7s it is kind of non starter when I see it.
Apparently they reverted the Mama Bear nerf, so its returning to one of its previous versions (tier 5?) for Papa Bear exclusively.
And I’m very happy to see so many new dragons

My first impression is that the big drops seem to have value even if they don't really energize with your comp. This should lead to less whiffing. I like it.
Overall the new cards seem really powerful, especially on the lower tiers. Although a ton of good cards got axed. It may be hard to see how itll play out before we see how the meta pans out, but it really does seem like the games will be shorter
all these take 1 damage and effect on taking damage reminds me of the enrage mechanic from mtg

Or the reworked undead assassin, whatever his name is. Used to be destroy an undead to get 3 gold, now it's to get a copy of it. If that wasn't a plain copy ofcourse.
I can't see beasts scaling during recruit phase... I bet they bring back slamma, or make a replacement for him that's stronger than stomper but weaker than slamma. Beasts always scaled during combat...

I recently came across your vids and so far enjoy the presentation and commentary but I would suggest not spending the first minute complaining. I get it and it sucks and they should spotlight the lower guys but when one of the bigger creators looks your way or even blizzard does, they’ll load up this vid and just see and hear the first minute and probably look towards someone else who doesn’t have that intro. Throw that in the middle of the end or just don’t do it as long or as negative. Otherwise great presentation and commentary!!! Keep it up and it’s all going to add up!

Like Mecha Jaraxxus being gone for ages but he shows it as new gone while not really that important but it is really important that u completely go over explaining Ziliax's effects entirely.
It is a completely new mechanic in BG and usually should get more attention and explained more throughly.
I agree but at the time of this posting the mode was not out yet, and well I had never played it so hard to explain it when it was not out. Luckily I did get to play it today, and now I have footage to use. Full explanation tomorrow barring any disasters!

True words. Just got frustrated. When some of the people they consider content creators have not played the game a long time, and you work you butt off... sometimes its just frustrating. You are right though!
Hey as a first time viewer i reccomend trying to refrain from complaining about blizz giving access to other content creators and not you. I 100% understand why you did it but it can be very offputting and could potentially send viewers away. Good video other than that though!
