    That's what you get for such wreckless flying and trying to defeat the laws of gravity

    Omg that was a complete write off every bit, usually you end up with spare wings but you made a good job of them too....brutal hobby😩 I've felt that pain far too many times!!! Get the Slick next one there ACE.

    Hard flying and hard landing. I do it myself, all the time on the simulator. Less expensive that way. My favorite plane on the Sim is the laser 103!

    • @Bravo303
      @Bravo303  Рік тому

      Oh, you noticed that deep dig, huh? It was definitely an epic crash! Luke Oliver took it to the next level with that landing. Sometimes the sky just isn't big enough for those daring maneuvers. But hey, in the world of RC flying, we embrace the highs and the occasional "dig deep" moments. It's all part of the adventure! Kudos to Luke for keeping us entertained and reminding us that even in a crash, we can still have a good laugh and get back up in the air. Fly on, my friend, and keep those thrilling moments coming!

    What size prop would be on this model?

    • @Bravo303
      @Bravo303  2 роки тому

      Mezlik 27x11 LF is one of the more favoured sizes by this team of pilots

  • @Coops777
    @Coops777 3 роки тому

    Poor Luke. Was enjoying his routine with some great flying. Not sure why he rolled the wing in when the manoeuvre seemed to be going well. Im assuming a fault developed (perhaps from the ground strike a little before?)

    • @Bravo303
      @Bravo303  3 роки тому +2

      Its really hard to say what caused that such snap roll in the wrong direction, it all happened so fast I don't think we will get a solid answer on that one

    • @vandersgarage4682
      @vandersgarage4682 2 роки тому +2

      That was a full on dumb thumb. The only fault was the pilot's thumbs. Just like the pancake a couple minutes before the crash.

    Your elevator servo gears stripped on that tail slam just prior to the crash. As the plane is crashing, the elevator is straight.

    • @Bravo303
      @Bravo303  2 місяці тому

      Thanks for catching that! You're right, the tail slam definitely put a lot of stress on the servo and most likely caused the stripped gears. That explains the unresponsive elevator during the crash.

    I'm curious and can't seem to find a good answer on my own.... how much does a plane like this cost?

    • @Bravo303

      These models are getting a bit more affordable in general although the last few years have inflated the figures slightly higher than some of us were used too
      Bare in mind that all these 100cc airframes have 80/60 & 40cc equivalents where the price (for the most part) comes down in scale with the engine requirement reduction

    Constructive criticism from someone who can not fly like that: Seemed to be a fair amount of 'reactive' flying... as if you were in a dog fight and having to react to the other pilot. Not sure if that's helpful.... You are definitely quite talented!

      Good observation & 100% correct.. that is this pilots flying style, unpredictable and unexpected, its adds a new dynamic to the judging process and one of the judging scores is a entertainment score which this flight gets top marks for

    From the first seconds it is clear that this aircraft is not configured correctly. Lack of balance and insufficient exponentials at high speeds made the aircraft too harsh and stally.

    • @Bravo303
      @Bravo303  Місяць тому

      Thanks for your comment! You have a keen eye for detail. It's definitely possible the aircraft wasn't perfectly balanced or dialed in for high-speed maneuvers.
