That POOR Corsair, it must have been really heavy to drop so fast, the glide ratio of a hurled brick, as they say........ Poor Guy, it was a nice model seconds before.
theres a bit more to it than that john, steve couldnt hear his engine cut over the noise of the others flying fast and only realized when it was too late and there simply wasnt enough height to recover from the stall, so he didnt just stop flying it - happens to us all at some point i guess
Corsair crash was rough to watch. Climbing out steeply you have to push the nose down just as far as it is up when the engine fails. The pilot did but there was not enough room to recover.
This shows how much harder it is to land with a high loaded wing aircraft. No to mention grass ops would have been a much better choice for some of these machines.
1:00 servo glitch crash. caused by normal engine vibration. someone did not install the servos Correctly, in a model with an engine; eg., with vibration damping Grommets and screws.
the engine cut at the worst possible time it could (on the climb out) murpys law im afraid - if it can happen it will happen ! then there was not enough forward speed or height to regain control of the model lance and im afraid Terra Firma won this time !
I have a few RC aircraft, 1400mm Spitfire mk1, Lancaster and a Hurricane. Haven’t flown the Lanc or Hurricane as they look so good I would hate to smash them. So I’ve hung them in my hallway 😄👍🏼 Such a shame to see lovely aircraft destroyed.
I must say, I never "enjoy" these vids...It's a pity when the 4U and 109 go completely trash. Sigh....I guess watching them is a fascination we have as in "better he than me!"
So sorry to see the Corsair go down, what a beautiful model.. 😞
You and me both!

that poor saito that was at least a paycheck och!!!!!
and that was its test flight krank, so sad to see
@@tbobborap1 Well, it CERTAINLY tested something with that arrival......however, me thinketh it doth fail the test....drown it, it's a witch !!!!!
I don't think the pilots survived some of those crashes...
A sad case of optimism triumphs over ability.
Great compilation.
Sad to see the Corsair going down 🥴
cheers, Thanks a lot horst, yes unfortunately it was the corsairs test flight my friend and the motor cut out - devastating for sure 😥
The ME-109 pilot stopped flying it and just stalled it into the ground. The P-47 pilot did a splendid job of recovering his plane.

Thanks 👍

I Love watching others crash even more than watching me crash!!! lol
That is one good looking Constellation.

@@tbobborap1 thanks. My dad flew on the EC 121 EW version when he was in the Navy.
3:56 did anyone know the nameof that orage tranmitter
Looks like a spektrum ix20
its a jeti radio
its a jeti radio
can we have a moment of silence for the Corsair,........ then repeat after me " Never turn downwind on a dead engine on take off !!!!!!!! "
Or gain more speed straight out before climbing so quickly
Foamies and 3ds, not my thing. Theyre like pimped out cars. The historic models are fantastic.
thanks john, check out TBOBBORAP1 - OVER 3,500 videos of rc models flying including historic !

I want one of those planes I like them how much does Planes cost
I remember my first crash. It happened in slow motion just like these. Coincidentally it was also my first flight.
1:00 ouchhhhhhhhhhh sad
yes very
oh that corsair….
I don’t feel as bad when the model crashes after many flights but those first flight crashes are really sad.
yep they sure are

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 no dave - the engine cut and and the model crashed !!!!!!!!!!!
@@tbobborap1 don’t worry about this David David’s all he dose is go around YT telling folks that servos are not installed properly 🙄
It'll buff out.

I wish he kept it pointed into the wind, probably could have gotten it down in one piece

thats a pity woo, is there no one in your club that can test fly them for you ?
Очень жалко модели, переживал как за свои.
спасибо пома
Ouch!!!!
Il y a trop de vent, ou quoi, qui justifie tous ces crashs ? 🤔
Pilot error or mechanical failure
Watching these videos, I wonder: do British flyers crash their airplanes on purpose for fun?🤔🤨🤷🏻♂️

well said ray
But the 109 looks fixable tho!
@@gecrashed6565 U may be correct upon review. Still painful.
the 109 is fixed and back in the air

Why do these idiots insist on turning the plane so quickly after touchdown....
sometimes they weather cock into wind and they cannot control them with the rudder or dont have a steerable tail wheel ratel !
They ( pilots) are not turning the aircraft. Wind, momentum causes the quick turn
