I did a pressure test and found leaking at the water pump, never seen a leak here or puddle under the car. Only obvious on pressure test. Does it need to be replaced?

Sure looks like those 4.6L engines in those cars are just easy to work on.
You don’t need to take the whole serpentine belt off to do this job. Once you take it off the alternator it basically falls of the water pump.

Always mention that the weep hole faces down. It helps orientation
Thanks a lot the Ford dealer wanted $150 an hour labor times 2 Plus the water pump price and a new serpentine belt
What did you spray it with?
So it’s ok to leave the cap off after you add coolant to make sure there’s enough in the reservoir

Alternator is only a couple bolts and it makes it much easier to hit it with a hammer
