I love the C8 RS6 because it finally came to the U.S.
But the C6 RS6 will ALWAYS be the best. Craziest engine, higher top end power and speed than its successors, and just a classic timeless design. The perfect car.
But... The perfect car is BMW M5..
The first and second gen are the most beautiful for sure. So understated yet so muscular!
The station wagons combines comfort & practicality with performance and luxury.
A family car that can put up performances of a sports car.
One of the best all round vehicles in the world.
Audi RS6 are not sports cars, they are powerful and fast cars....until the first corner

My dad owns the Plus(now they call it a performance on the c7) and when we go on holiday it sounds soooo good!
C7 is the best combination with clasic car systems and new technology. The C8 is no more about “cars” it’s just technology.
The aluminum panels on older cars just looks so good. The way the light bounces off of them! Nowadays everything looks like a cartoon picture.

Oh man this is one of special gathering of best of the best, my cousin has 2 of c5 rs6 in Los Angeles, I was driving it for quite a while, had to drive it 130 miles an hour on hwy 10 east, didn't even felt like going so fast, dat 4.2 v8 w/twin turbo is one of best of all time, he still have em, later on we gotta go some work, maybe I'll get the second one for myself, worth no doubt. Good job guys, gorgeous looking collection.

At the beginning that German symphony of absolute Bliss, I can listen to it for days on end!
Before my current car, I had the C6 S6 with the 5.2 liter N/A V10 engine from Lamborghini (downgraded to 435 PS), and that was the car I had had for the longest time up until then (6 years) - but the RS6 that replaced it has now been with me for 8 years(!), and I still have no plans to sell it (I recently had it tuned with APR which puts out 700 PS and 1.000 NM, and with 0-100 km/h clocked at 3,2 seconds it almost feels like an EV - just insanely aggressive acceleration :-).
I've got a friend who bought the C8 RS6 last year, but frankly I feel no desire to trade with him - to me the C7 just has that perfect balance of raw muscular power that lingers beneath the surface and understated sublime design that makes it easy on the eyes and doesn't raise any eyebrows in traffic (until you floor it, at least :-), while the C8 appears too "brutish" and just over-designed (sorry buddy!).
(The only car that seriously draws my attention as a potential replacement for the RS6 is the Taycan Sport Turismo - from a functional, economical and performance perspective it gets eaten by Tesla Plaid, but from an emotional, visual and handling perspective the Taycan is - for me personally - the only serious competitor to the RS6; after all, the M5 is a sedan and the AMG E63 is... well, a Mercedes :-).

I drove the S7 Gen C7.5 for a while. The V8 TFSI has been such a beast. I loved it. Especially smashing into the limiter at 268 kph on the autobahn 😂

The rs6 c5 saloon was the first Audi I ever fell in love with.The twin-turbo v8 was something I couldn't get my head around back then.What an impressive power plant it had under the bonnet all those years ago !!!

All I hear of the last two gen's engine notes are like blowing through flappy lips! Definitely love the engine note of the previous generations much better!
