I've read about her career story, and her progression to success is very inspiring and shows that it's a step by step process, with many failures, before getting to the top one day. You are so right about each voice being unique, this is really amazing when we think about it! Instead of reading fingerprints or look at the eyes iris to recognize an individual in some places, they should also use voice recognition! I am a bit late in my comments, the weather is just too incredible here, I am outside all the time, biking, taking sun, going to the chalet, meet friends and family since the isolation period ended here (we can meet 10 people at a time now, respecting 2 meters distance whenever possible), such wonderful time but limited time on UA-cam! Here in Portugal it is already 13 hours, while there in the USA it is still very early, it is only about 8 hours and almost all the American is still sleeping !!! However, the very intelligent Rebecca, always very active, as this excellent work proves, is in accordance with the popular saying "to lie down early and to rise early gives you health and makes you grow" !!! Omg Rebecca, where did you come from? Where the heck have I been to not know about your channel? I love your reactions and critique of all the artists you choose. Your very passionate at times and like a little fan girl other times,lol. Love it all, my Mother was a music teacher, so was her Mother. They both got their Masters in piano and voice. She always had perfect pitch and my world was full of every kind of music. She took me to every symphony, famous choirs, movies and introduced me to the classic show tunes. I was a soprano most of my life, now trying to find my alto voice. I can sing a pretty good Karen Carpenter. We saw Frank Sinatra and the three tenors, twice. I couldn’t have my little girlfriends over without her orchestrating a mini sing along to Rogers& Hammerstein show tunes and whatever was popular in the 70’s. She accompanied many of her singer friends and would help them as they sang. She was a feisty redhead who would get so passionate about her music where she would tell them how it was when they didn’t practice what she had taught them, making them stay hours longer or telling them to not waste her precious time and tell them to leave. She would make sure they paid her for their lessons anyway.They would come back to her studio the next week and they would be spot on and she would reap them with loving praise. The kids from her classes at school would call our house in the evening to try to talk to her. She tried to teach me piano, she didn’t have any patience with me, I taught myself and played better than all her students at recitals,ha! We would play duets at church, Mom on the pipe organ and me on the piano. Thanks for bringing back those memories for me during this frickin Plague, and help me get my mind off the politics of our messed up Country due to utter incompetence from the disgraceful moron we have, pretending to be President. 120 more days until November 3rd. I’ve lived all over the country and the Caribbean while growing up, 38 years in Tampa, Fl. now in Atlanta,Ga. lost my Mom in 2006, played Andrea Boccelli at her memorial and a song by Alabama ‘ Angels Among Us’ I sing all the time with my friends and my niece and nephew, they are gifted ,both play guitar, piano and sing so sweetly together, but are very shy. They are beautiful young adults ,18 and a very pregnant 25 year old. Thanks for what you are doing, it’s so very entertaining and keeps me from looking for new recipes online. Omg Rebecca, where did you come from? Where the heck have I been to not know about your channel? I love your reactions and critique of all the artists you choose. Your very passionate at times and like a little fan girl other times,lol. Love it all, my Mother was a music teacher, so was her Mother. They both got their Masters in piano and voice. She always had perfect pitch and my world was full of every kind of music. She took me to every symphony, famous choirs, movies and introduced me to the classic show tunes. I was a soprano most of my life, now trying to find my alto voice. I can sing a pretty good Karen Carpenter. We saw Frank Sinatra and the three tenors, twice. I couldn’t have my little girlfriends over without her orchestrating a mini sing along to Rogers& Hammerstein show tunes and whatever was popular in the 70’s. She accompanied many of her singer friends and would help them as they sang. She was a feisty redhead who would get so passionate about her music where she would tell them how it was when they didn’t practice what she had taught them, making them stay hours longer or telling them to not waste her precious time and tell them to leave. She would make sure they paid her for their lessons anyway.They would come back to her studio the next week and they would be spot on and she would reap them with loving praise. The kids from her classes at school would call our house in the evening to try to talk to her. She tried to teach me piano, she didn’t have any patience with me, I taught myself and played better than all her students at recitals,ha! We would play duets at church, Mom on the pipe organ and me on the piano. Thanks for bringing back those memories for me during this frickin Plague, and help me get my mind off the politics of our messed up Country due to utter incompetence from the disgraceful moron we have, pretending to be President. 120 more days until November 3rd. I’ve lived all over the country and the Caribbean while growing up, 38 years in Tampa, Fl. now in Atlanta,Ga. lost my Mom in 2006, played Andrea Boccelli at her memorial and a song by Alabama ‘ Angels Among Us’ I sing all the time with my friends and my niece and nephew, they are gifted ,both play guitar, piano and sing so sweetly together, but are very shy. They are beautiful young adults ,18 and a very pregnant 25 year old.
