I learned a lot from watching you. My husband was a carpenter and did all those things but he died a few years ago now it is left up to me to repair things or hire someone to do the projects so seeing someone doing things I need to do gives me a lot of inspiration. You did a great job and I enjoyed your video very much.

A little elbow grease and paint (with unexpected rain) made such a difference. It will be easier to see those steps in the dark once winter sets in. For a temporary spruce up I think it made a world of difference. First impression walking up to your door just shot up exponentially. Thank you for sharing this. Love it.

I appreciate that you repaired the steps with concrete. I've seen a lot of people just throw some paint on it and not look back. Also I just love your finished master bedroom, the floors and built-ins are top notch. keep up the home improvement series!

This video was oddly satisfying. My OCD was like what is he going to do with that rot under the door and you just shut me up! Whenever I do projects, I pay close attention to detail and people say that I am a perfectionist, but what good is it to do something and it's not your best work?

I’m glad you fixed it. Don’t be afraid to change your plans. If after painting it’s just to bright, try a soft grey or beige to be similar to the house color. 2 coats of white and one of color isn’t to much.😉♥️

Hey , i hope you see this but just so you know
When painting concrete you have to wait for concrete to fully cure which is 30 days
Second, you must let the concrete be fully dry otherwise there will be moisture trapped in the pores of the concrete
Third , if the concrete is pores then more than likely you can prime and then paint BUT IF its smooth
    You MUST CLEAN AND ETCH
So the pores of the concrete can become rough
    Then prime and then paint
But if its a temporary fix then it doesnt matter LOL

You should have painted the inside of the steps, the same color as the house! ....that would have looked really nice i think! ....otherwise, great job!!!
