Great stuff...exactly what I was looking for. My porch is a bit taller than yours but otherwise, it's a twin. Appreciate you showing the steps in order to not leave anything out or to have to backtrack. Thanks and keep up the great videos!
Great results! Good color choice. My concrete steps and front porch are not painted but have some staining that is not coming out. Other than painting do you have any other suggestions? We can definitely use the rain here in Washington 🙂
Thank you Kathleen! Have you tried pressure washing? Send me a picture and maybe I can offer advice! Here is my email: Fixthishouse1@yahoo.com…it should rain tomorrow and on out! 🌧 😊🙏🏽
Nice job! Would have chosen a lighter gray personally but it looks good. You listed most of the tools used but left out an important "tool".... the gloves you have on. What are you wearing there? Thx. : )
Love your channel. Can the same be done with an ugly brick entrance? Really want to do this and going with pavers is really expensive just for the labor. Thanks
I’m guessing it’s rained on them by now? Are they slippery. We have a concrete slab / patio outside our door that we’ve discussed doing this on, but the other applications we’ve seen left the painted area very slippery when it rained.
@@rickm.6452 Not my thing Rick. Very unlikely that I will be doing this as I will probably be out of town. Just aquiring knowledge to achieve what will work best for us. Thanks again.
The issue I can see with concrete paint, it looks nice in the beginning, however, (I am guessing) a few tiny chips/peel off later will make it so unsightly ?!
You can use a non slip sealer after you paint it to help prevent the chipping. I painted mine last year but the salt from the winter destroyed it again because I didn’t use a sealer

@@FixThisHouse Thank you I won't be pressure washing today that's for sure.
Yes fall is here for real.
I want to do the same in my house my i would like to use epoxy paint since is more durable. Great video!
Thank you Joser! Epoxy will work as well! I might do that on my garage 🙏🏽😊
Which brand epoxy paint do you suggest
What about texture? Can you add cement mix to the paint for no slip texture to paint?
This is great. Do you suggest putting a seal coa
I recently did this to my entire foundation. I cant beleive what a difference it made to a 60 year old house.
Very nice

@@FixThisHouse that would be great. I’ll take one in the morning. Thanks so much!
You don't need to prime the concrete first? Is the paint still holding up a year later???
yes to you do. Doubt the paint bonded well and probably started chipping pretty fast.

You can buy sand to mix into the paint to help prevent a slippery surface
@@JackieBluXODeck paint already has that included.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thank you Shan! 🙏🏽😊
Nice
Also don't want the grey color does it come in other color?
grinding wheel plus gloves is a great way to lose a hand fast, especially with the guard off.
How well does it standup
Where can I get this paint color?
My front concrete steps are no longer graded correctly. It kinda sunk towards the house a bit. I will try to paint it after fixing the grade
does that make the steps slippery???
Not is your use the right paint! It has sand or grit added to prevent slipping
No primer?
You forgot the primer and bonding agent! That will not stick!
👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
How long will this last?
I am not sure yet, but all depends on conditions like location, use, etc, but it would be good to repaint every 3-5 years 👍🏽😊
@@FixThisHouse how about the cold midwest?
Try acid color stain …last forever and will not chip off ..painting will flake and chip off in time
Would that be non-slip or could you still add sand or something?
@@Jennifer-xw7dw yes it will be no slip
@@rickm.6452 Thanks for reply!
@@Jennifer-xw7dw buy the acid stain from cement or aggregate dealer follow instructions on container. You can also you tube it..

Work on the fucking noise control. Bell rings super high pitched at the end of video, but your voice is low.
