It may have some old bones, but at least you know all the kinks have been worked out. Keep in mind the current Tahoe and Yukon haven’t been on sale for a full year yet and just under went a recall a couple of weeks ago. Also I don’t think the Armada gets the credit it deserves for having the largest infotainment screen in its class. If you want larger you have to move up to the luxury ranks.
Only shortcomings... no pano roof, would love for the midnight edition to also feature 22s, and definitely time for a new key fob. But all the other creature comforts are there including a monster V8.
If considering Tahoe, Yukon or Expedition you have to put this on your test drive list.
Only Drew can pull off wearing a brightly emblazoned Adidas shirt with Nike shoes. 😏

The pillar surrounds are also chrome. I'm sure it was done to create some contrast. Otherwise it would have been a bit much, especially on darker colors.

The best thing that has happened to Nissan was that their corrupt leader is now out of the picture. They've made a quantum leap in design, appeal, and quality. True, this is still an 11 year old vehicle, but this vehicle is one of the most reliable out there. The tweaks to the interior are certainly welcome. The overall package does beg the question: Is the QX80 even worthy these days? The Armada has an arguably better interior, especially center stack. And the Infiniti has no powertrain advantages over the Nissan. While I wouldn't buy over the new GM triplets, I would definitely buy over the Sequoia and even Expedition.
Magnificent road trip land yacht with 400 hp and all the tech driven goodies! Loved that second row with captain chairs & center console - classy touch! Nice to see Mason driving - great review, guys!

Even though we couldn't see what happened, based on your reaction Drew, still a good laugh 😄 This redesign is a nice segue towards the 2022 Infiniti QX60. When those vehicles hit the lot at the end of this year, watch out it will hit different!

I'm still disappointed they're not using a big brake kit on the Armada. Literally the Akebonos from the 370z bolt right on to it so why not make it standard on such a heavy vehicle. Also why doesn't the exhaust show either
I wish this video had come out yesterday for May the Force (4th). Maybe it’s me but the rear of the Armada looks like a Storm Trooper helmet with the white paint and black accents. Or maybe I’m just too much of a Star Wars fan. But I like it.
great car, I am getting a Patrol here in the Philippines, we only have 1 variant and I think it's 2nd most premium compared to the US market, I paid 90k USD. A Tahoe would cost 141k USD over here and that's not even the top spec.

Personally I wouldn't call this a black out cause the rims have chrome, the door handle's are chrome, and the trim is chrome.
