    Larry Boone - Between 1985 and 1993, Boone recorded five major label studio albums, in addition to charting several singles on the Billboard Hot Country Singles charts. His highest-charting single, "Don't Give Candy to a Stranger", reached No. 10 in 1988
    KT Oslin - Biggest Hit was 80's Ladies & Come Monday. Had a number of other hits as well.
    Nancy Griffith - Griffith won a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Folk Album in 1994 for her recording, Other Voices, Other Rooms. Biggest Country single was "I Knew Love", reached #37
    Jo-El Sonnier - Sonnier charted several minor singles on the Billboard country charts in the late 1970s. By the late 1980s, he had signed to RCA Records, breaking through with the Top Ten hits "No More One More Time" and a cover of Richard Thompson's "Tear Stained Letter". Although his chart success waned by the late 1980s, he has continued recording music.
    Dana McVicker - Dana McVicker is an American country music artist. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, in 1963, she recorded for Capitol Records Nashville in 1988, releasing a self-titled album and charting four singles on the U.S. country charts. McVicker was also nominated for Best New Female Artist at the 1988 Academy of Country Music awards, losing to K. T. Oslin.[1] She also appeared on the song "Young Country" from Hank Williams, Jr.'s Born to Boogie album. After exiting Capitol, McVicker sang backing vocals on Travis Tritt's first five studio albums (counting his Christmas album), and was one of several guest vocalists on his 1992 single "Lord Have Mercy on the Working Man". She was also featured on the track "Drive Away" on Sawyer Brown's 1993 album Outskirts of Town.
    Marty Haggard - Son of Merle Haggard. Haggard charted five singles on the Hot Country Songs charts, in addition to performing in his father's road band.
    kd Lang - Started as Country, before moving over to Pop field.
    Ricky Van Shelton - Had a career that lasted 19 years, before retiring in 2006 and stopped touring in 2006. many millions of Albums sold and numerous #1 singles, before radio turned their backs on his style of music.
    Lyle Lovett - Like kd lang, started in the Country field and became a hit in the Pop field. Active since 1980, he has recorded thirteen albums and released 25 singles to date, including his highest entry, the number 10 chart hit on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, "Cowboy Man". Lovett has won four Grammy Awards, including Best Male Country Vocal Performance and Best Country Album. It's Not Big It's Large was released in 2007, where it debuted and peaked at number 2 on the Top Country Albums chart.
    Libby Hurley - Not much is known on Libby.She charted only three country singles in the late 80s, The second single "You Just Watch Me" reached #43 on the Billboard Country chart in 1988. The song was later recorded by Tanya Tucker and released in 1994, reaching #20 on the Billboard Country chart.
