....be afraid of any woman who can say that shat with a smile on her face the entire time. *smiles*
Yup😁
I wish popular singers these days could sing HALF as well as this live. Seriously--not one bum note, and she isn't straining at all. It's completely effortless. And she looks so happy the whole time. :)
Stories like Loretta Lynn's just don't happen any more. That part of Americana is gone. Loretta never changed with fame her talent was immense her song writing ability as good or better than anyone. She is a true gem a once in a lifetime American treasure.
Yes she did change. And how on Earth would you know?
@@rosemadder5547 Didn’t mean her personal life how would I know that…but her appreciation and love for country music fans. I worked 40 years in country radio starting in 1973 from small towns to Cleveland OH and more.
You Ain't Woman Enough & Fist City are the Territorial Girlfriend's Anthems
What a doll she is. She's really something else.
you got that right!
She's what my Granny would have called, "a little spitfire," and I wouldn't want to be the unlucky woman caught trying to take her man! Most of the songs Loretta wrote, especially early in her career, she based on events in her personal life. I love to hear her sing, and her duets with Conway, are second to none.
Yes she is! I sure would not want to tangle with her. Yes, she did sing of events in her own life and her relationship with Doo. She's one of the most talented singers that's ever graced the Grand Ole Opry stage, in my opinion.
I love listening to her talk as much as I do her singing.
So true
Eastern Kentucky has a very unique accent and a very unique way of pronouncing words. My mom sounds just like Loretta when she talks. Borrow drops the ow at the end and puts the long e sound. Special is pronounced as spatial. Hollow drops the ow at the end and adds er so is pronounced holler, the same as if we are yelling. Fire is pronounced far, tired is tarred, chair is cheer, right here is rye cheer, etc. There are hundreds more unique to this area of Appalachia.
she opened the door for all female country music artists we love today. love ya loretta!
*04/20/2020*
gerald alter
Patsy Cline opened that door for Loretta Lynn & others after her ... but Loretta became the Queen of Country.❤
Loretta was a unique treasure in Americana.
Every time I watch her performances, I can't help but think, at least once, that I wish her Daddy would've got to see/hear her sing & see how loved she is all over the world. 🖤
' it'll be over my dead body, so get out while you can''
DAMN ! Loretta weren't nothin to fool with LOL . Sheesh i love this woman.
She is just adorable in this video! I love Loretta because she is genuine and isn't ashamed! Sweet heart, one of a kind!
NOW THIS IS TRUE COUNTRY....
Can't get no more country'er than Ms.Loretta.
Look up Loretta Lynn singing "Fist City." She has that same smile on her face the whole time.
What a clever sharp song. She is not taking any shit from some younger Beauty queen
Wow!!!! This woman is the truth. I mean she is down to earth and real
I'm related to her very distantly but she is amazing, her maiden name is Webb!! We are related through a man named fox Dan webb!!
Rachel Webb my dad's family grew up on the other side of the mountain from Loretta Lynn. If you walk to the top of the mountain and look down you could see her house. Richlands Virginia, right where Virginia West Virginia and Kentucky meet
Rachel Webb hi Rachel where are you from I'm also related to fox Dan Webb my madman name was vinson
That raspy, tangy voice is like a fine wine. Perfection
This is priceless. I completely cracked up at the end. What a dear she is!
I actually sang this song as a tribute to her. id love if you checked out the video on my page
Is she the cutest thing on the planet???
I guess she is enjoying herself on her ranch in Tennessee and not missing the many miles on the road performing. That is a nice song she sang.
I sang this song. id love if you watched my video on my page and left feedback
Sidney Mathious Loretta still tours 70 dates a year!!
Thanks for that information. She gets a chance to get away from home and feel right at home in her bus.
Loretta Lynn is awesome. One of my favouritest singers of all time and she makes me all the more proud to be from Kentucky :) And the end cracked me up lol "How come you to borry 'em?" "Well because I needed a pair of socks."
These songs remind me of my Momma. RIP MOMMA I LOVE YOU 8/30/1946 TILL 10/1/2016 I MISS YOU SO MUCH!! :( SO DOES DAD. Artie Jean Hale
This is really first class country! Can't even compare the crap Nashville is airin' today with this. And Loretta was a cutie of a kind you don't see today.

Susan Dunn music's still real today. You just have to give it a chance, or look for it real hard
dam she is a stunning woman.
PURE COUNTRY! Thanks Loretta!
She is so gorgeous. No other female artist will ever be able to compare to her
She is the real deal and the most down to earth person yet superstar who never forget where God brought her from.
Darryl Henry I couldn’t agree more. I watched her as a kid on Hee Haw when she’d be the guest singer. I was 7 yrs old.
How beautiful was Loretta Lynn. True mountain gem.
Loretta's voice is amazing. It sounds very clean, but still has a little Bonnie Tyler in it. Such a unique woman.

I have loved and admired Loretta all my life. She is an inspiration to all women; going along with life, making decisions good and bad, owning it all, never placing blame, and always moving forward.

Hello Melissa. How are you doing?
I love country songs they always have some kind of heartbreak that YOU KNOW that singer has been thru...:D xx
she was and still is the most talented country girl out there till this day i love u loretta
She is so sweet and so innocent, and so feminine and yet as tough as nails. To bad there aren't more woman like her! She is a good role model to bad young girls do not know about her or look up to her!
I love the scene in Coal Miner's Daughter where she debuts this song for [patsy cline]. The look on Beverly D'angelo's face is classic. One of those "Southwest airlines, wanna get away?" moments.
Supreme Confidence in the words of this song!!
Who can not love Loretta Lynn? Such a lady!
i love this song. back when country music was good! =) Loretta Lynn was the best female country singer.
All hail the Queen....all she did was write songs the entire nation sang! Grace, poise, beauty, class, humble, down-to-earth, celebrity w/o the attitude, all hail the Queen!
Hello Brett. How are you doing?
she is still awesome to this day. love ya
The way she smiles and looks at the camera like that, makes me feel like I'm the woman she is talking to!
my mother love your songs, and now I do your songs remind me of my mother I MISS MOTHER Lucy she pass 😓
I was raised by my grandparents when I was with my Grandma in the car it was always Loretta Lynn, with my grandpa in the car he would play Hank Williams or Johnny Cash.
I love the old country vibe..
Morley meee too!!
I love when singers smile to really depressing lyrics. Like when a sad song has a fast beat that you have to pay attention. It's like a secret what's really going on and you feel like you're special because everyone is just smiling and enjoying the beat
Pedal Steel player is rocking....of course Loretta turns the roof off, so great...
Loretta - brings back memories of the past for many US people.
Loretta....you are still the First Lady. Lovin you still. God Bless. ♥

Grow up Country Music since 1970s on radio stations and on real tv special and Pop Goes country, Nashville on Road. Truly enjoy Loretta Lynn music. Though year.
That's music people know the difference
I don't remember her being so beautiful from when I was a kid. I like this song. I like the way she talks never heard that before.
TheTubeTempest that's pure Southern from the old days! Some of us still sound like that down in SC and NC, LA too. Mountain people definitely have this twang more than most.
TheTubeTempest sounds like Cardi b to me lol
TheTubeTempest. She was spectacular. I was born 5 weeks prior to 1960. My family members ALL were into Country music. Plus my mother listened to pop and Elvis, Tom Jones and got me dancing and interested in all genres. At 6 i had Tammy Wynette Loretta Lynn records, and a record player. I had country music and everything and I was always into Loretta Lynn even as I got older. Her life story is fascinating as well. One of a kind
She seriously has the cutest overbite I've ever seen :)
HA.....love Loretta's "kick-ass" attitude. Beware of any scorned wife with a smile on her face, ladies.
the greatest female singer of all times
