HP1R: Spellcasting, Movement & Damage(WIP)

🎮 Hey everyone! Welcome to my journey of remaking the classic Harry Potter games! 🎮
Here’s what I’ve got done so far:
-Character movement is up and running, thanks to GASP in Unreal Engine 5
-Spell-casting logic is working
-Implemented damage-taking logic and health display on screen
What’s next?
Coming up, I’ll be:
-Animating all the original spells
-Retargeting the main characters (there aren’t more than 20 in the first game)
-Setting up the bean-collecting system like in the original

Woah did u retarget the motion matching animations to the harry skeleton? This project looks insane.
@@UnWorld Yes, I couldn't get the animations out of the original game. This thing saved a lot of time.

Can you remake the assests?
Yes! Initially, I started transferring the assets, but quickly realized that they were very simple. There were literally just cubes and cylinders. As a result, I restarted the project by recreating the mechanics.
