I think a lot more people are going to be supercharging the older Tundras because the new Tundra prices are insane.
Gen 1 Tundras are awesome too!
You can get a used third gen for maybe 2 or 3 grand more than a 2nd gen. The third gen’s aren’t holding their value whatsoever

Have you seen the prices recently I seen cheaper 3rd gen tundras than 2nd gen because of the 3rd gen motor issues😂

Steve at SS makes the 3rd brake light with KCs. Doug might be providing the housings though.

nice job on the dirt king L/T. i have the same set-up up front except with fox 2.5 sway aways and 3.0 bypass. Still debating on what im doing on the rear. but loooking at your video the leaf spring is growing on me

Does the double skidplate & light setup behind the grille impede with cooling for the radiator at all? Im thinking of doing a skidplate like that but with vent holes for cooling

I have a 2019 very similar but not w all the upgrades yours is beautiful. Question n I might have missed it. Is it regeared?
This has stock gears, my last one was geared. This actually goes really good. It does hunt in and out of overdrive on the freeway but if you put it in tow haul, it’s perfect. I’ll probably gear it someday though.

Not really. What kind of problem are you having where you need your truck lighter?
@dezerttrucks i dont have a tundra i just know they are heavy. Does that even matter with the suspension setup?
@@jordanmercredi3740 not at all, in fact it is common to add weight to the rear of these Prerunners to help settle the leaf springs.

This particular bumper was custom built. Check out SS Built out of Arizona. They have a nice bolt on front bumper.

The previous owner had it done , but most stereo shops do them
